- “It Ends With Us” star Brandon Sklenar spoke with Access Hollywood exclusively at the Ralph Lauren show in New York City and shared about speaking out about the cast drama with Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. “I put that out and I was like, see how this goes, I don’t know. It just seems silly to me. It’s kinda defeating the whole purpose of the thing to spread any negativity. It’s an important film for so many women and for so many survivors of domestic abuse. And yeah, that’s what it’s all about, is making people feel heard and strong and loved. So to project anything but that seems counterintuitive. And I appreciate those people that appreciated it,” he said.

"Access Hollywood" is an entertainment news show featuring Mario Lopez, Kit Hoover, Scott Evans, and correspondent Zuri Hall. From exclusive celebrity interviews to breaking news and reality TV drama, we have all the celebrity news you need to know.
A Olympian was burned alive by her husband. DV doesn’t discriminate. It’s serious. I grew up in it, then chose it in relationships. I did get out and recognized the cycle.
But, one of my favorite movies is Sleeping with the Enemy. Julia did outstanding and was a real face for women or men of DV.
That movie SERIOUSLY f^©ks with my head 😬.
Without meaning to sound condescending, but I'm proud of you for getting out of the abusive relationships. 💔🫂❤️🩹 It took me over 10yrs to finally leave my ex. 😔
Silly? Well, there is nothing more nasty than laugh and make jokes about DV in Blake’s interviews. DV is a serious matter of course and she was totally not compassionate about it. It was all about her selling her brand, making jokes, me me me. So which part was silly that collectively people reacted?
I think the right thing to do, would be to take the proceeds from the self promotions and donate it to the programs that help the men, woman and children suffering from DV.
No. Yall talking like this is a new thing 😂 actors and actresses get use the attention they get from new projects to sell products for thier own brands or other's brands all the time. 😂
@anayajohnson3493 taylor Swift did it. She promoted her new album when she received her grammy award. Very tacky and cringe worthy. I have never in my life idolised that woman. I dont know how she became everyone's heroin just by writing bad things about exes and crushes. I guess society's values and standards seem to get worse and worse as time passes.
Now I'm done with all Access. The interviewer telling him what he said was right and its all about the story! She blew it.
Mainstream media. Don't ever watch them. It's manipulated by big money - celebrities
Silly ... right. It's all about selling shampoo and DV colouring Books. It's sick. You were called out for bad behaviour, accept it.
Hollywood is a business, you think Titanic was made to help people who died in boat accidents? All those movies with people who DIED. All entertainment. Why you expect a movie about DV would be any different?
Haters are coming out again
He’s clearly kissing the Reynolds asses just to be known. Saying to focus on what the movie is all about, about DV then Blake Lively doing differently 🙄
He's just gaslighting.
A sequel?? Don't hold your breath, Brandon.
Branden is a coward, taking sides, when Blake started all this controversy & really all she had to do was apilugize & everyone could move on, but no she trys to take Justin down & ends up making a fool of herself - i am team Justin
Make a sequel without Lively. Put in an actress who actually cares about the message of the movie.
He just doesn’t get it.
I just can’t wait to see him in season 2 of 1923
Please please unsubscribe from this site they think DV and asking for accountability from the lead actress and producer oh not to mention bragging about your husband being a scab (even though the screenwriter said they believed it was just ad libs ) but for the director who brought this movie to life by buying Colleen Hoover’s book way before TikTok in 2016 to have to promote the heavy aspects of this film and find out on a red carpet that his leading lady’s husband is a scab
Boring guy
Well im not sure what happened to *American Sexy* because these stars are not the beauties we got in the 90's
Brad
River
George
Leo
These new guys are some homely-looking heartthrobs
If there is a sequel, Brandon shouldn’t be in it. He is a part of Blake’s posse…. Brandon was complicit in the shunning of Justin baldoni, let Ryan and Blake give him a job. He made his own bed.
@@ronaldyap5083 I read all the casts interviews since 2023. I read the book too. Did you?
this novel itself is a love drama, it is about hope and choices, dv is the tough time for Lily. This is not a story that ALL about DV.
I enjoyed so much of grabbing flowers and having cookies to watch my beloved stories adaptation.
2 thousands of pre-screening audiences in Book Bonanza at July give all positive feedback to Sony with flower and cookies decorations in the theatre. No one complaint it until the PR firm was hired after the premiere and the drama came out.
Did you see the book cover? it is pink and with flower on it. It is issued in 2016. The book cover has told everything about the theme of the story and just YOU don’t know.
This is the story of origin from Colleen Hoover and the true story from her mother. No one know it better. Pls don’t always said DV as you are the judge. It is just some performative feminist doing.
No, it's not "silly" to call out where you failed in reaching the women you claim to care about. Stop the gaslighting attempt.
Is it me, or does this guy just seem plain boring in real life 😒
@@MyBiasOpinion Brandon is certainly not boring at all ! Can’t wait for him again in 1923.
@maryabbott8344 let me guess, you know him "personally." Just saying in every interview, he seems dull as hell.
I kinda got that impression as well. Maybe he's just exhausted or something.
I met him in real life, he’s a chill guy but certainly not boring.
I saw the movie today, and I thought that it was fantastic. I pray that the sequel will be made.
He got a new agent and new contacts thanks to Blake & Ryan. That's why this guy took Blake's side. He owns her and of course we know he doesn't agree with Blake, watch him during interviews with her, but he has to pay his dues now. Shame on him, cause he is a good actor and I love the way he plays Spencer on 1923...but he can GFHimself now. He has shown he has no principles.
He is my Atlas and he is so real and humble
Well said 💯💯
You were great in The Union movie
A sequel? Has anyone seen the first one? Blake lively is a turn off.
When the first time the actor was invited to an public event after the Premerie and a reporter ask him some questions about the drama normally…
What haters behave …
IF the actor
Answer the question - You Shut Up/ everything is too late (this is the first time he attended an event with press after the permerie )
Skip the DV question - still avoid to voice out for DV victims ( so funny is that he talked about it for many times in fact but the press didn‘t make an reel in social media)
Say No to the whole interview - a rude manner like Blake they are a team
Never show up in any events - he don’t even dare to response to this important issue
So funny and rediculous
I just love Brandon! Why would anyone find fault in the movie, It Ends With Me? The movie was fantastic and helpful for women suffering with domestic violence.
Forget the haters.
Its not the movie that's the problem
@@jgarcia4721 ??????? What is it then if it’s not the movie?
@maryabbott8344 it was the way the lead actress promoted the movie by minimizing the DV aspect of it and promoting her own products instead of raising awareness and resources about DV.
The sequel is dead!
Putting that out was the wrong move, this reporter does not stand for DV survivors either I guess.
