Played on PCSX2 emulator
Not rly a Boss anyway.
The Answer play through is more challenging than The Journey. For most ppl this mode is very difficulty, cuz its set on Hard automatically, and you cannot change the difficulty.
Its also more of a dungeon crawler that bores most ppl to even bother playing this mode.
What makes The Answer Hard?
No difficulty change
Bosses have dodge elements/attacks, and they always know to target the weakness most of the time.
Fighting different Bosses at the same time that need to be scanned to avoid stupidity of the AI.
Have to farm Persona's to fuse them.
No elemental resistance armors (beside Final Gear)

Honestly one of the strongest moments for Aigis as a character.
I was fucking astonished when Athena suddenly morphed into Orpheus

I love how these cutscenes make him up to be more powerful than he is in the game, he has two weaknesses for crying out loud (hehe).

I love that cutscene, what really sells it is how they animated it and how the characters were shocked, just look at Junpei at 4:21, really wish they remade the game with the new models and new animations, this whole thing would be just amazing
As long as they keep those portraits when they get shocked and angry! I love those portraits!

the art quality in p3 cutscenes was pretty bad but tbf thats how a dog would look irl too. They go from cute to visceral in seconds if they feel threatened

Who Metis? I know she's canon since she's basically aegis other half that she wished away. I'm just saying that she could have been added into the arena games as a dlc option and it didn't have to be canon to the story. It could have been explained similar to pq
Metis is basically Aigis's Shadow. Given the nature of the human mind, a Shadow can take many forms, given what you're suppressing.
Door-kun, on the other hand? I've always wanted him to come back as a playable character, if only because I want to see Messiah wreck some shit. We've already gotten Thanatos in the movies and with Elizabeth, but Messiah hasn't gotten the chance to do anything cool.

I can't play the answer without getting sad, knowing everything that actually happens. This game was a fantastic one with a wonderful story and I'm glad they made it emotionally painful at times

Know what’s weird? This is the one boss battle it’s impossible to die in because once Aigis has low enough HP that Metis can kill her, she’ll hesitate to attack for the rest of the fight.
So given the endgame reveal about Metis, I've got to wonder... how the hell did Aigis fight her with Athena?
GSSAGE7 Metis is Aigis' emotions. Aigis is still a conscious being, so she can still use her Persona.
Except Metis is, in all but name, Aigis's Shadow. Hell, I think Arena outright SAID that's what she was. We can assume the reason she looks so different (as well as why Aigis can use other Personas) is because of Aigis's newfound nature as a Wild Card. But to put it frankly, based on the lore, she shouldn't be able to use Athena, because Metis IS Athena.
GSSAGE7 do you mind telling me in arena where it says this? I never played arena so I don't know what you mean because considering in this point of time metis was meant to be aegis emotions that she wished away to avoid feeling the pain of losing the mc. I always considered metis the human half aegis wished away . So I wouldn't exactly consider her a shadow but then again considering how shadows are portrayed in p4 it's understandable as why you would say that.
I believe it's to do with the Plume of Darkness inside of Aegis. Aegis obtaining the wild card represents her awakening her...power beyond, a deeper awareness of self and her humanity (while fearing that the end of journey is, inevitably, death).
Athena is her awakened self from the past, but now with her remorse over the lost of Makoto/Minato (and her wish to repress those emotions), Metis has manifested from "the other side" (where only shadows and beings that are not human exist). Metis is her wish to not move forward, and to distancd herself from her humanity, but that would not prevent her from using her persona because of the plume of darkness.
Also, "Shadow" Makoto/Minato and his ability to use the personas of SEES. Since the Persona and the Shadow are one in the same, yet they coexist with the self, then it can also exist as separate beings in the world of Persona?
@@GSSAGE7 4 years after but fuck it. A person can have multiple shadows, and therefore multiple Personas. Also, the mechanical maidens were designed to be able to wield Personas but without giving them emotions, so who's to say they follow the same rules as regular Persona users

+Alex Mikula The Answer is an sequel to The Journey, this event happened right after the ending of The Journey where the MC went to sleep. This mode never got re-released on the PSP.
