Kohls can still work, it’s just not as full proof as it used to be. Once they deliver, try checking the order on a computer and clicking on where it says packing slip. Sometimes this is a packing slip and they won’t take that but sometimes it’s an invoice. It used to always be an invoice. If it’s not an invoice, then try screenshoting the receipt that they sent you to your email. I had this work last month. Just make sure what you screenshot has all the parts they’re looking for in it (everything discussed in the video)
Hello, I hardly comment, but I figured there's no harm in asking. This is the honest truth. I just moved out of my parents house a couple months ago due to all the stress. I'm only a 23 yrs old female, and I really need to make money. I've really wanted to do this for years, but was never able to. I worked retail jobs and it really took a huge toll on me since it was stressful and I was too nice to be working that kind of a job. Tbh I don’t think my group would be best for you, I think it would set you back further financially. It only makes sense if you have capital since we’re a heavy leads group. If I were you I’d try to replicate what I’m doing in my flipping from zero series going to thrift stores/bins stores etc. Those cheap stores are the best way to stack cheap inventory and grow your bank without breaking the bank. Retail and online arbitrage are not where you should start.

Hey, great video. I was wondering do you have the supplier ship directly to an Amazon FC or do you have the product shipped to your home? And if you do have it sent to your home, what does the process look like for that?
I just do FBM so shipped to me then I ship it out. I have a warehouse tour showing my inventory system that I just uploaded last week. 80% of my business is eBay though so that’s mainly what I talk about in the video. FBM is just like eBay so its the same

I’m sorry I’ve never tried any of those, I’ve always just used the sites I mentioned so I can’t comment on if distributors work or not

Some categories are like that like grocery, but not most and not toys. That is brand specific.

FBM is just like eBay. Once an item sells you pack it up and select the shipping. I’m working on a how to ship on FBM for beginners video. Should be up in about a month. If you mean FBA, I don’t do that.

You don’t have to wait but I’d wait until you have a product that’s profitable in that brand first. I see far too many people bury themselves ungating in every brand without even having anything to sell in those brands.

Thanks for the video! I have a question. Amazon wants to see the company address on the seller account, on the receipt to approve the category. Is it correct for the delivery address to be the Prep Center's address and the billing address to be the address in the seller account?

Great info. In video on requesting ungate, it saus you must have permission from brand to sell, so if I order from Kohals 10 pair of socks, and upload the invoice, would that be considered permission from brand too even though I bought it from Kohals?
Correct. Kohl’s is a viable distributor and gives invoices accepted by amazon just like I talked about in this video.
I put in an application to ungate in baby products. I put in my invoice and got a response that I also needed images that show the manufacturer/brand owner’s name or contact information (physical address, website, or phone number. It must be securely adhered to the product or packaging. I’m not sure why I would put my personal information on a product - so anyway around this?

That completely depends on what categories you sell in and where you source. The better you get at it, the better your margins. For amazon, lots of capital is required
What if i use billing information same as my amazon address and delivery address to my prepcenter. Will they approve this way?
MP i have done 5 and 5 of 2 different products for total of 10 on the same order from supplier and was ungated a few times before.
You likely got it automated from a bot. I’ve gotten ungated with invoices from the wrong companies before. The method I am suggesting in the video is for the highest success rate.

There’s always a chance, never guaranteed. Just keep submitting it even if they decline

Have you ordered items from Under Armour before? I believe they sent you a paper/ receipt in the box every time you order, would this be considered a invoice? I’m thinking of ordering some items from under Armour for amazon.
It would, but only for certain Under Armour items. They are one of the weird brands that still restricts like half of their products so only they can sell them

That doesn’t work. As stated in the video it has to be an invoice from an online store who provides invoices. I gave several examples of places that do. Receipts will not work.

I would start on eBay and flip things from around your house and thrift stores. This will teach you the reselling game cheap. Once you master eBay then think about hopping on amazon.

Bought 10 items with the same SKU from Kohls. Never received an Invoice in the box and when I called the Customer Support, Kohls says that they do not send invoices as per Company policy. I am wondering if things changed or did I get an unhelpful person on the Support call 😕
No they didn’t change. Sometimes they send one, sometimes they don’t. All you have to do is login to your account, go to that order and click on receipt/packing slip and download it. Even though they call it a receipt it’s really an invoice.
Trying to do the Lego Disney SW one and theyre limiting 5 per order. Would it be possible to do 5 of a different one and still get approved?
Try a different keychain. Some are limited to 5 now but not all

You can’t, walmart does not provide invoices. You need to order from a distributor who gives invoices like the example stores I named.
Hello- When you are reselling (FBA) and you’re getting your products from a brand’s authorized reseller (e.g reselling the underarmour gloves by buying them from Champs) do you still have to have the original brand’s permission to sell it on Amazon ?
If Amazon ungates you you’re good to sell that brand. Some companies can send C&D letters or open cases on you but most won’t
i want to sell a bath toy for kids that's not done by a brand, can i do the same process for a another toy from a brand to ungate the category ? like ordering something cheap such as bath foam letters from Munchkin then if i get approval i'll list my products? and is it true that for new sellers , amazon will most probably not grant approval ?

Hey Newbie here, this is amazing advice! Just a thought about purchasing product to be ungated. If I just return the product to Kohl’s for example after your ungated. Does this come with possible issues? I also understand waiting for a good product to buy ten and list them but I rather already be ungated when that time comes lol
I wouldn’t play the return game, it’s not right to the retailer and yes, you can get in trouble with Amazon. Just wait until you find a profitable product.

It’s per brand. Once you’re ungated in a brand you’re good to sell all ASINs in that brand unless it’s a weird brand that still restricts some things like under armour

Just upload the invoice. You don’t need an LLC or permit.

The normal kohls website. Be signed into an account so you can pull the invoice from the order details if they don’t send one in the box.
Ok so if I get an invoice for a product through Khols and get ungated for the product right am I able to then buy the exact same product from a different supplier in bulk to then fill my inventory and be good to go?

By the way here Cali these big stores you’re at picking up 80% of goods have 0 product… Marshalls had a 14 size Air Force one for 39.99 and a never seen online Puma ‘suede cherry tomatoe’… they had a few 4 pack calvin cleins for 20$ and a white zip up with a rainbow pride across the top in clearance… nowhere online. Yeah uggs has been known to send out IPs so I stay away. Cali has been known to have higher prices so retail arbitrage may not be the move. I’d start hitting up the thrift stores as you should see better prices there then you can take that capital to online arbitrage
This may be a dumb question but on the part about "Need to Order to the Exact Name on the Seller Account", does that mean the invoice must show your seller business name or is your personal name ok?

Find a keychain on the Lego website that is Disney branded as well and has an ASIN on amazon and buy 10 of it. Then upload the invoice on that ASIN

I receive IP alerts on the lego keychains, also how do you do retail arbitage if you have to get ungated using online first. Because going into retail stores like Walmart do not provide invoices.
Whatever brands your source regularly, you buy them online to get ungated. You don’t ungate with the items you buy in stores. Once you’ve established yourself on amazon they will auto ungate you in many brands.
@@MillennialProfit okay yea, im looking for some sites. What if a product is in multiple categories. For example when looking at the BSR on a certain product I see its BSR is 120K+ in one category but 129 in another category is that still a good buy?

Pretty sure Ugg restricts products meaning only they can sell it. And yes I sell on eBay, it’s my main platform.

Nothing is a guarantee with ungating but yes they have a high success rate. Keep submitting til it goes through

Whatever name is on your Amazon account is the name that needs to be on the invoice. Whether that is your name or the business name
