- Starting the string bending section on Yousician, and the first effort leaves a lot to be desired. Still, it's good to learn this skill, and incorporate it into your playing.

As someone with 100+ hours on guitar and still terrible, i just want to say I really love these videos. Just seeing you keep up the smile and a positive attitude even when you make mistakes brought a tear to my eye. You are enjoying yourself and thats what I need to remind myself to do. Thank you for being a positive impact in this world my friend, God bless you.
Paz.
I've only just started learning, one month in - but it's super motivational seeing your progress! Looking forward to the days when I can finally begin playing this well hah!
thanks! how's it going three months later?
Nice to see you back at it. Keep up the grind. Merry Christmas
Hola amigo!! Te sigo desde tu cuenta de yousician , veo que no estas practicando , vamos por mas ( hay que seguir tocando) !! Y se extrañan tus vídeos, saludos 💪.
Good to see you still goin man
Cool video. Now I also have guitar stand for 5 guitars, (I have 4)... Can't practice these days, due to my abdominal distention... But hoping to get back... I recommend Jazz III XL pick. It's the most comfortable I ever tried. It'd make your picking different too, try it! :P. Wish you also a recovery with the shoulder and with strengthening exercises... Yeah the Bending songs, are nice. Merry Christmas, 🎅🎄.
stand is great. i really like mine. how're the abs doing? thx for the pick suggestion. just ordered.
Well done bro !!
Good job buddy! Improving day after day. Happy Holidays!
thank you!
Спасибо, что вдохновляшь своим примером. Я играю чуть больше года и нахожусь сейчас на завершении уровня 5
Really good job, your bends are almost perfect. I think what you should do is really challenge yourself. Try a song above your skill level, keep trying until you get good at it, and than go back down and you’ll see a big improvement.
thanks! they're all above my skill level 🤣
Come back :D.
Are you still playing? I’m doing my research on where to start and was thinking about getting lessons from a teacher vs internet/UA-cam
At 50 yrs old with crooked plumber fingers, it should be interesting.
It's very sporadic now, but will get back into it eventually. It's fun - go for it!
How has Yousician been for your ability to play songs without it? I'm a few hours into it but I'm worried that I'm going to become dependent on it and not be very good at playing without it.
this is the most common question on my channel. i cannot play without yousician because i have no talent. if you have an ear for music, you can most certainly play without it. also, you become good at what you practice, so if you practice with a bouncing ball, you'll be good at that. if you switch and follow youtube videos, you'll become good at that.
Haha you joke once try a standard tabs of a music you already know and you will see you doing great
It's actually always wrongly understood. You don't have to have greatest talent to play guitar, songs, or improvise. It's just based on practice and memory. If you don't care about what you are playing on Yousician, and don't try to memorise any song, you can forget them. It's not about dependency. The app. is useful for mostly building muscle memory, learning songs, learning chords, building speed. But what it doesn't help with is, probably improvising, teaching some more of the music theory, scales, and some other things are missing. You can learn them scales you like the boxes etc, on your own, by memorising and playing outside Yousician. Many guitarists don't have a lot of music theory, but something cool comes to their mind, some melody they play them, and memorise them, like writing lyrics. They don't know nothing about music theory, scales, intervals or anything. If you like a song on Yousician then you can obviously memorise it and play without Yousician... Ear training is in my opinion is too overrated. You don't have to force yourself to learn a song by ear. You will watch videos of a song how it's played, you also can separate the guitar from the song with moises app. and hear it yourself how the notes be played, You can use tabs, if they are correct, and check other videos how people play, how the band plays it live. Yousician is not dependency but a very quick way to get you in practice mode, and you get things(Practicing) done.
