why are you mad at me; be mad the Kings for having terrible scouts. When Lilliard got drafted everyone was saying how good of a shooter he was. Ya'll have a terrible backcourt. Even tho Marco and Rondo are a okay.
Anthony Davis is not really overhyped. He lead all rookies in blocks and rebounds. He has a lot of potential. If he can grow more muscle he can be a great player, it's just that big men take longer to adjust to the nba.
It might be less favoring large market teams if they had a commissioner who was not so determined to make money... There also might have been different rules for the salary cap
draymond green part of this didn't age well. Green averaging like 4 points and having an awful year. Guess it proves he isn't much w/o curry klay and kd
BASKETBALL PLANET lots of players do that tho. He has 8 points 6 reb and 6 assists per game. Would be good stats for a role player but considering he was considered an all star and he's only averaging this on 30 mpg? Not good enough for what he's paid and how people talk of him
God I remember this draft class so well. When we all thought Kidd-Gilchrist was gonna be something else. And don’t lie, if you followed this properly you thought it too
Well he has been doing this for so many years. Don't forget in his first year as commissioner Michael Jordan, Hakeem, and (I think) Charles Barkley were drafted.
+Rupert Tobias i wouldn't say that I think Thomas Robinson was a draft bust. Ross averages 10 points a game. And only two all stars from that draft so far lilliard and davis.
I did a little homework and re-drafted the entire 2012 draft including the second round . The First round goes from 1-30 pick and the second round goes from 60-31 pick. Note : Players who never played in the NBA are selected in a random order. 1.Anthony Davis 2.Damian Lillard 3.Draymond Green 4.Andre Drummond 5.Bradley Beal 6.Jae Crawder 7.Khris Middleton 8.Harrison Barnes 9.Michael Kidd-Gilchrist 10.Jared Sullinger 11.Evan Fournier 12.Miles Plumplee 13.Dion Waiters 14.John Henson 15.Terrence Ross 16.Tyler Zeller 17.Austin Rivers 18.Festus Ezeli 19.Meyers Leonard 20.Will Barton 21.Terrence Jones 22.Kyle O'Quin 23.Jeremy Lamb 24.Andrew Nicholson 25.Mike Scott 26.Kendall Marshall 27.Thomas Robinson 28.Mo Harkless 29.Quincy Acy 30.Kostas Papanikolau 60.Tomislav Zubčić 59.Ilkan Karaman 58.Kris Joseph 57.Izzet Turkyilmaz 56.Tomas Satornasky 55.Furkan Aldemir 54.Kevin Murphy 53.Marcus Denmon 52.Royce White 51.Fab Melo 50.Kim English 49.Bernard James 48.Arnett Moultrie 47.Orlando Johnson 46.Darius Johnson-Odom 45.Tyshawn Taylor 44.Darius Miller 43.Ognjen Kuzmic 42.Perry Jones 41.Marquies Teague 40.Robbie Hummel 39.Robert Sacre 38.Justin Hamilton 37.Doron Lamb 36.Tornike Shengelia 35.Jared Cunningham 34.John Jenkins 33.Quincy Miller 32.Jeffrey Taylor 31.Tony Wroten
WITH THE 35 PICK GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS SELECT, DRAYMOND GREEN!!!! NOW WITH CHAMPIONSHIP RING AND AN 85 MILLION MAX CONTRACT! FROM THE 2ND ROUND. FUCK YEAH!!
Warriors did great, but Portland also did very well. Lillard, Leonard and Will Barton were all wonderful. It’s a shame about Leonard’s character, but he was still a very serviceable NBA player
I started watchin basketball for a couple months ago and I love the sport! Can someone please explain what a nba draft is? I really want to learn more! Thanks :)
He's going into his second year into the NBA. Its way too soon to call him a bust. A lot of stars have bad rookie seasons and end up like stars. Give him like a yr or 2 and if he still hasent improved much then call him a bust
I also feel like ESPN's draft coverage could improve with an analyst who is more well-versed in International prospects to better educate the audience on international prospects to end the stigma of them either being inferior, or almost never coming over from the international leagues. So annoying to watch the draft with other people & them always complaining about international prospects. Jay Bilas is very well-versed in the college game, but I feel that bias towards college players really hurts his draft analysis.
Okafor was rookie of the year and everyone thought Dwight was a bust then look what he turned into you never know with players you have to give them time...
Warriors killed it
What a player lillard ended up being
Middleton was a pretty decent pick at 39
WhatTheShizzzzz yeah he was especially for this draft
WhatTheShizzzzz he shoulda been a 1st round pick😭😭 the heat should’ve drafted him
This aged well, he's now a 2x all star on the Bucks
Steal of the draft.
He’s a all star now
what a steal Draymond Green is turning out to be a great pick

it could've been Lilliard and Boogie. Kings suck at draft night.
stfu they didn't know lillards was gonna be good he came out of Webber state which is a D3 college

Hes a hof player now
11 years later hes possibly a top 50 player of all time 1 time champ and one of the best lakers big mans of all time
GSW got Barnes, Green, and Ezeli in this draft. that GM is a genius
Ty for posting this
Bradley beal is a beast
@@vinnie4269 yes he is he averaged 30 per game
This aged well
I WOULD'VE TAKEN BEAL 2ND & BARNES 3RD & LILLARD 4TH
What an oversight by the Suns to draft D-League legend Kendall Marshall. Dude had promise, but had a lot of injury concern coming out of college
Two great players in Middleton and Green going in the second round. Never underestimate the power of the upperclassmen in the draft.
2:20 the part you want to see
Nah came here for beal
R.I.P David Stern hes been a great man to our nba community what would the nba be like without him
It might be less favoring large market teams if they had a commissioner who was not so determined to make money... There also might have been different rules for the salary cap

And you're a bandwagon
Ghassan B and you're salty

+Isaac Rosario no
biggest bust in this draft was Michael Kidd-Gilchrist at #2 overall lol
GO ROYCE WHITE... You have shown the Rockets that anxiety can be beaten! My respect level for the Rockets has soared. Congrats White.
That was a very great draft, AD, Lilard,Drummond,Green,Sulinger,Barmes any many more
And*
AD, Damian Lillard, Draymond, Bradley Beal, Harrison Barnes
This Draft Class was kinda nice
Also Andre Drummond, Austin Rivers, Terrence Ross, Meyers Leonard, Jeremy Lamb, and evan fournier.
And now Anthony Davis has a ring, Lillard is a monster , and the Kings still can’t make a solid pick.
Congratulation for the first champion🏆️,AD!
Thomas robinson huge bust
yep...
a guy in the middle of nowhere No if he was drafted to the right team he could've been somewhat decent
His grandma grandpa and mom all died in a months span after he was drafted. He could’ve been ok who knows but a tragedy happened
@@sociallyawkward9633 he played in multiple teams and somehow still not decent
Ur dad busts
Evan Fournier is a lowkey steal at 20
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that
Andre Drummond is a stud and Beal, MKG, Ross, Barnes and Zeller have all been quite promising
is it me or david stern sounded annoyed and bored when announced first pick
Well he has been doing this for so many years. Don't forget in his first year as commissioner Michael Jordan, Hakeem, and (I think) Charles Barkley were drafted.

+noaht 23 soon to be Drummond and Green this year, Beal, Barnes, and Middleton in the next couple

They have to make the team.1st rounder picks get guaranteed contracts and 2nd round picks don't.Usually your 2nd round pick makes the team.
Meyers Leonard and Andre Drummond look so young. Here's my best picks:1. Damian Lillard2. Draymond Green3. Harrison Barnes
LMAO the kings could of had a duo of Cousins and either Lillard or Drummond. A front court of Drummond and Cousins would of been op as hell
cousins was taken in 2010 the caves were good then, so no they couldnt have
wtf do the cavs have to do with this
oh I saw the kings as the king so i thought you were referring to lebron and the cavs
I can't believe Sacramento traded away Thomas Robinson. Good pick up for the Rockets though.
Kings made blazers stronger😂😂😂
Why were the #1 + #2 first picks from Kentucky? Coincidence of Anthony Davis going #1? “Thought that Bradley Beal was from there as well”
damian lillard was definitely the biggest success
Teech he is good but a lot of players in this draft are also good. Barnes and AD for example.
Anthony Davis*
The biggest steal was of course Draymond green and the biggest successes have to be AD ,Lillard, and Harrison Barnes
Connor McDavid
Teech yeah true but none picked him till 6th piuck because all the other teams till 5 already had a good point guard.
A lot of good players in this draft, Damian, dion, Terrance, Harrison etc......bad guys
