Haha responded to wrong comment I loved my Kawasaki but own the ducati now which is giving me issues. I should of held onto this one. Cheers for comment 👍👍
Thinking of buying this. What's it like on the twisties? Seen and read so many reviews mentioning how reluctant it is to turn into corners. I'm realistic, I don't expect nimble 600cc handling but don't want to have to manhandle it round.
To be honest I didn’t think it was the greatest but someone else with a better skill set may think it’s ok. I have a Ducati multistrada now and as this is upright it’s so much easier. The kawasaki is quite upright and very comfortable though including a great ride. Hope this helps? Thanks for comment and view much appreciated 👍👍
Ayup jay, one of these was in my top two and probably number one to the tracer, i know miles apart in looks but I loved both, went down to j&s to have a sit on it I couldn't believe how compact it was ! It fitted me perfect, unfortunately I couldn't get on with how the front fairing dropped away to low for my liking that would've got on my nerves , don't know if you noticed that too ? Needles to say I was a bit gutted, anyway got plan b hooray! But still love the looks of the kwacker 👍
Hi rob I can’t say I noticed about fairing but will now cheers😂 I do love it expecially the colour. It rides great so smooth. Cheers for comment pal hope your well stay safe 👍
When you got your panniers, how did you get the key to work with em and the bike? I thought it'd be the bike key and then a different key for panniers cuz you didn't get em with the bike.
You get the lock cylinders as part of the kit and you have to match them to your ignition key. It’s a case of putting the little pins in yourself it’s quite fiddly. I messed one up but then searched it on youtube and it’s quite easy. 👍
Great video, I've just purchased a 2018 SX due for collection this Friday. How did you find putting the quadlock on? Did it go straight in through the hole on the nut or did you need to get creative? Thanks
Hi thanks for comment and great choice of bike. You will need to buy a ball mount then the adapter for the bike. Or like me get the Sat nav mount that bolts onto the tank bolts and you will need to be creative to make it work. I had several attempts but depends where you want it mounting 👍
I've just watched your vfr800 video (very good btw)...So, having an experience on both of these bikes ... which one would you consider now if you were looking to have only one bike?
Mick thanks! I would say the Kawasaki but the VFR is a great machine. With the Kawasaki having the traction control and abs and a more powerful engine it’s better for me. The VFR has reliability and probably not as thirsty. Checkout richy vidas channel he took the vfr gen 6 around America 👍
@@CRAZYLEGSONABIKE thank you. Yes I'm aware of RV channel and have seen most of his videos. I am on the second Vfr800 (second gen 6) so I have my views on this bike. However I'm tempted by the sx1000... so your views are very appreciated. Nice videos!
I have a late 2015 model. I love it. Sports bike performance with all the comforts for touring.

At 15:16 you state that the indicators "are not self cancelating" . Is that a new word you have made up?
Haha probably I always make up words 🤣🤣🤣

Nice bike bud
Thankyou mate i do love it so smooth and quick. 👍
Which tank bag is that?
It’s a givi one
Hi Fella. What make of tank bag do you have on the SX? Keep safe, Old Bloke.
Hi pal it’s the Givi ST602 Sport Touring Tanklock Bag. I think the tank ring you need is the bf25. Thanks for comment stay safe 👍
Top Speed - "165mm"....!???
Haha yep typo i was hoping no one would notice 😂👍👍
Constructive criticism? how about a warning, do not operate heavy machinery while watching this channel.
I’m not sure what you mean?
@@CRAZYLEGSONABIKE I agree with ya.
