Certainly does buddy it’s amazing how jumping on your bike with no agenda helps. When the lockdown here is lifted at the end of the month I won’t hesitate to jump on and ride for hours. Thanks for your comments, stay safe 👍

We all enjoy our bikes because of the freedom, we can't be our true selves without freedom. The same is also true for those who travel in order to walk in the countryside, those who's fix is a session at the gym, those simply enjoy meeting friends in a pub or meeting a friend for lunch or coffee or even just a chat. Cyclists seem to enjoy the greatest amount of freedom, there seems no limit to the miles you can munch in the name of exercise. None of us should be made to feel guilty, simply for wanting to be free, we did used to consider it a birthright.
I'm fortunate enough to live in a large district and personally have been taking the long way round, throughout all of this. I'm also fortunate enough to have been a biker now, for over forty years and I can honestly say that what's happening today, would have been nay on impossible back then. Fear and motorcycling don't gel well, but yes there was an unwritten code, a brotherhood and mutual respect. Part of this remains but much of it is lost, as is the freedom which went with it!!
We have been told to believe in something which kills us, yet what's truly the killer is the fear and the false belief. We're following the carrot on the stick, sometimes grasping that stick ourselves, just to savour a closer sniff. Yet in obeying the rules of the game, were oblivious to the endgame, you never actually get to taste the carrot, persuit of it becomes a lifetime challenge, in which we all meet the same end sooner or later.
So the choice we have is to be dead now, believing if we were free we would die. Or, we can choose to live now, taking our chances with death, which is what bikers ( humans) do best. We can ride the longway round, grasp the hands of friends abound, even embrace with arms around and who knows truth may soon be found, when death itself our thoughts confound. What thoughts will then go through our head, when we're still alive and are not dead? Will we not see, the bars which we were told would protect, actually to keep us imprisoned is their real effect.
Live to ride or Ride to live, is that not what we should believe?

Hi, firstly Thank you so much for taking the time to comment with such true words. Biking for me is in the blood and just a couple of hours a day makes it all worth while. I live amongst the Yorkshire dales and am blessed to have all the beautiful scenery on my doorstep.
Thanks for the support of the channel and again your comments have been very much received, stay safe 👍

@@CRAZYLEGSONABIKE I'm sorry this one was so long winded, but just from your own pent up frustrations as well as others who commented, it is clear that we are suffering mentally by being placed under these often ridiculous restrictions. All of this for something no more deadly than the common flu? Out in the open air, with helmets on, let's face it, where is the risk? I also enjoy fishing, because there's nobody else around for miles, it's fresh air, it's nature, for millennia it's been considered great for health.
When an illness has a tape measure, a stop watch, an alarm clock, can distinguish what drink you hold in your hand, whether you're enjoying it indoors or out, whether you have food to accompany it, can discriminate against race and age, and you can have it without even knowing it? When the rules which control it cause more harm, ill health and devistation than the illness itself...Unbelievable!!

It depends what you want them for. I chose this as has the performance but is upright and has the adjustable screen so perfect for touring too. I do like the gsxr though that deffo would be my choice of sports bike 👍

@@clintneville9767 some good performing sports touring bikes out there; VFR 800, triumph sprint for example and very comfy. I’m 48 so not far behind you and tend to look at this genre of bike. Ride safe 👍
