This is the exact combo I tried. Banish 45 on a Glock 17 (also tried it on P320) Neither one of the 9mm pistols would cycle with the suppressor using subs. It would cycle with supers.
I think you're correct! Some manufacturers will recommend a lighter recoil spring when running optics, possibly to counteract the additional kinetic energy?? I'm betting the next purchase after the RMR was a lighter recoil spring kit just to be on the safe side!!
I bought the .30 Gold, .45 and 22 last year. Just ordered 4 more last week, .Banish 223/ Nomad 30 Ti, Obsidian 9 and a Wolfman. Can't wait till next year!!! LOL ATF is a joke.
Hey buddy, good video. I did have one comment, you habitually put your finger on the trigger well before you bring the weapon up. I have my own set of bad habits so I’m not trying to put you down, you probably don’t know you’re doing it. Something to consider when training or drilling.
I'll save you some time and money. Just buy an Obsidian 45. It's less expensive, and uses 17-4 steel baffles. Far more durable and better made at a lower price with a no hassle warranty. The Obsidian uses standard pistons and nothing janky or proprietary.
I have both and I like them equally, only downside to banish 45 is less accessories like 3 lug and qd. If u don't need those though, the banish is great. But if price is the final deal breaker, obviously the obsidian.

Damn, i planned to use my g17 with my banish 45 which i just got. I read glocks are picky with cans but maybe ill just get a threaded barrel for my m9
I think if you ran a heavier recoil spring on the glock it would return to full battery.

Buddies finger seems to live on that trigger even when it shouldn’t be there.
can you shoot carbine 9 (Scorpion 9mm) and S&W 15-22 out of Banish 45?
Yes, just need the fixed barrel spacer not piston spring.
The piston spring I would use on my HK .45?
