    Very litle difference to my 70 year old ears. 🤔🤔 the bigger one does a lot. On the rifle it definitely does the job though. But in the end. ..... an extra inch is much more effective (at least according to her). 😅😅

    Think of how far suppressor development would be if the NFA didn't exist... think of all the integrally suppressed hunting rifles we would have by now.

      @PaperHunter 11 місяців тому +8

      Probably not much improvement. Suppressors here in the UK and across a lot of Europe are largely either unregulated or never refused when applied for (also no extra charge for them). New designs are pretty much the same as they were 50 years ago. Even metal 3D printed ones aren't a great improvement. They've definitely got lighter and a bit smaller but there's only so much you can do.

      @@bigretardhalo Just the UK about 615,000 firearms and 1.3 million shotguns (legal ones). Europe has far more and there are loads of suppressor makers. It's not such a small market that's there isn't innovation, it's just that, as I said, there's only so much you can do. To my ears, the audio wasn't really good enough to tell the difference on pistol test 1, but the longer suppressor was much quieter on pistol test 2. I heard 22Plinkster saying repeatedly that it was hearing safe, but I don't think that I'd spend my money on the Banish 22K V2 for a pistol...Just get a full-size suppressor, or run unsuppressed. Going by the Henry rifle test audio, the Banish 22K V2 may be a decent option for a shorter-length suppressor with less weight on a rifle. It's so hard to tell what suppressors sound like from videos.

    Camera microphone and it's amp is doing level normalization so you do not hear difference as in real life. They have sort of compressor logic in it and tries to shave off the peaks. Plus UA-cam compression on top of it. It is suppressor definitely. People very often think those units make it so silent that you can shoot few feet's away and no one will notice. That is is not the case with most of the suppressors. Got to love how long barrel makes it more effective. Great demonstration.

    If you want a small suppressor and then a bigger one you'll want to go with the Q suppressors. They're adjustable to each baffle, so you can pick the perfect length for each firearm you're using

      Hear me out... 22s are the most used pistol for not just robberies, but assassinations.... due to the volume factor... but is it possible to get a small enough gun to run hollow point 22s....

    Hollywood has ruined suppressors for me I want the puff not the bang. Put if I had the money I would get a couple of them plus other calibers.

    Don't have that kind of discretionary money to throw after a small noise reduction if I'm going to wait a year and pay the cash I'm going with the full size can

    Curious, but what’s the difference between a clip and a magazine? Is clip just slang? Or is there a physical difference?

    • @ZaneDouglas1
      @ZaneDouglas1 9 місяців тому +1

      A clip is a piece of metal, usually a strip or block, that holds several rounds together from at the base of the cartridges, aligned in one or two rows. Ammunition clips usually come from the factory with the ammo already affixed to the clip. The clip is inserted into a firearm or into a permanently affixed magazine that is inside the firearm, and after the rounds are shot, the clip is ejected or removed and usually discarded. Well known firearms that use clips are the M1903 Springfield and the M1 Garand. A magazine on the other hand, is a spring fed device that feeds rounds into the chamber of the firearm. It can either be permanently affixed inside the firearm (usually called an internal box magazine), or it can be detachable, which can be repeatedly inserted and removed. Common firearms like Glock pistols and AR-15 rifles both use detachable magazines.
