@Tarik St Patrick How does watching this video not teach you good IFR and/or PPL practices? Some people fly like they drive and if you really cannot decipher that this channel uploads content contrary to this, I'm concerned with your ability to absorb information.
@Tarik St Patrick I was top of my flight school class, and excelled in instruments with scans, methodology, and radio communications. Where did I get that foundation? This channel
@Tarik St Patrick lol as someone who watched Steveo before, during, and after obtaining both their PPL and IR, I found them to be very informative. If I want to learn “techniques” as you put it, I can catch some old Jeppesen course videos. Lol

The new GP works great in the low light! I still use a GP3 in flight as well for audio due to the cable compatibility. Your vids are the first I came across during the start of the pandemic, and thought "man I want to fly IFR like that". I was lucky enough to say hi to you at OSH this year (cell phone holder guy). As many have mentioned below, your content is a big reason why I started flying again. As a result, on 9/30/2022 I passed my instrument checkride and started working on my commercial rating. Keep true to your style, your work is certainly appreciated. ✌✈

Steveo Thanks. Regarding cameras - as a pilot, the close up view of your left panel was the best feature. Few other bloggers did that. I really miss that view...pls bring it back.
That new camera does a great job! Its nice to see straight prop blades out the window instead of the usual flickering, bendy, almost folding over ones!
That was a blast from the past! My dad used to fly his Mooney down from PA to visit me as I lived about 12 miles from that airport. We would then fly down to First Flight and then back to Edenton. I used to play over there when it was a Marine aviation base back in the 50s. Thanks for the memories!

I did my first solo cross country to EDE from EWN about four years ago. Watched your videos religiously to help myself practice. Now I fly charter in the northeast and have almost 1400hrs and about to get typed on the CJ3
Great view of the Albemarle Sound on the final approach. Probably passed over my hometown about 5,000, near KPMZ.
Your video's are a real treat Steveo and you are just getting better and better. I know how hard it is to get it just right editing the sound and choosing the shots that tell the story, you nailed it. Like your choice of music too. Looking forward to the next one!

Nice. I've been working on my instrument rating. Ground school and test in about two weeks. I really like shooting approaches. I'm by no means and expert but looking up at minimums and seeing the runway is a kick that I had not anticipated.
Magic approach followed by a perfect landing a joy to watch I was living every moment from and older Australian IFR/CPL

Enjoyable surprise. My wife is from Edenton so we fly in there a lot. I think the reason RNAV1 is a dog leg is because of the restricted area to the south of the runway.

In France I have never been able to cruise higher than FL290. When I ask for higher ATC is always surprised that a TBM can handle higher levels 😂

I think the new GoPro camera has a nice clear image. Pumping the gear down. Yes, always pump slowly. It's nice when 3 green show up. From your twin N850TB SN 349 but I fly the left (west) coast states.

GoPro11 looks great. Video is clear and great dynamic range from inside and outside the cockpit is nice.
Be mindful you can get prop filters for the lens on go pro, ☺️
@@aileronsintowind6835 I usually drop the frame rate to 24fps with a shutter at 48/50 to keep the prop from showing up. Of course, that’s where the filter comes in because it will let it so much light. Steve’s forward camera is set up that way, it seems.

We live in Clearwater. My folks live in CO. I have a set of cold weather gear that says in CO because I have forgotten to bring warm things a couple of times
I just moved from Bath, Nc about a hours drive from that airport. You must have been visiting either Regulator or Albemarle boats. Not much else in Edenton.
Love your flights...cameras of the cockpit are the best feature I think.

As alway great video. I like that the new camera doesn't have that annoying wobble the other cameras have. I got a real sense of actually flying in the airplane with you. I will get me the GoPro 11 just because of that. As always great job Steve.
