Excellent aviation skills. As a retired army helicopter mechanic and tech inspector, I respect the navigation and communications of your videos. At 70, and just moved next to Fort Bragg NC, these videos bring continued love for aviation.
ik I cant believe its such a big channel. Seems so mind numbingly boring to watch these full fights honestly. At least he talks the whole time and their not long usually
Yet another very informative video! Thanks a lot Steveo for sharing your extensive knowledge and experiences with the rest of us!! You’re a true expert and inspiration to the aviation community!!
Stevo, love the videos! They are informative and you have a uncanny skill at editing and putting together a seamless experience for your viewers. Bravo!
I love your content. I've been flying since I was 13 and I'm 51 now. Very informative and fun to see you fly around all the areas I flew growing up in Florida.
Stevo, Thank You for taking the time to video and detail every action you take. While I'll never fly a real TBM, I am very fortunate to be able to fly the 930 in MSFS 2020 (somewhat competent I might add) and your level of detail helps immensely, especially when I fly with Vatsim.
I have been watching your channel for around 3 years and it still amazes me that a life like yours is a possibility.. Gives me life goals man. I should have my ppl check ride in the next week or so. Can't wait to be part of the pilot club. Thanks for keeping me motivated.
@@ryanlemons3255 I am at a flight school and it’s structured as a part 141 training. It will be included in the loan that gets me to CFII and MEI. Not sure how much it is an hour.
Boy, that controller at key west sure is a fast speaker-I have always wanted to visit key west- Maybe someday I will drag the family in that direction- Thank you for the video loved the intro song wishing you your dad your family a great 2022. As always safe travels and continue to have the time of your life-
@Steveo1kinevo - check out the time stamp between 16:10-16:16 and really focus on the 16:14 time mark. Have you ever seen anything like that before? Not sure how everyone’s missed this!
Thank you Stevo. I had to freeze frame on the approach. The US Navy paid me to spend 5 months down at the tip of the island the Summer of 73, where I learned how to operate the SOSUS system. Great memories!
Wow so much work to get there. Paradise Key West. I sure wish I would have been on the flight. I miss KW I have fond memories. Thank you sir for a cool arrival. 😎
During last summer my son took his family in a 27’ trailer all the way down the keys from Washington state. Cool to see it from air. Bigger than I imagined.
I can remember flying with my father out of grassy key to Fort Jefferson in the dry tortugas in a Cessna with floats. I think it was a 180. We were preflighting and I noticed one of the plug wires felt loose. It wasn’t the wire because it was screwed on tightly. Somehow one of the spark plugs had come loose and was slightly backed out. I was surprised when I saw that. It was a beautiful flight down there and great view on the way back also. The history of the fort was a little interesting. Supposedly John Wilkes booths doctor was being held there. They showed a video about the history of the island. Pretty cool stuff. Thanks for the ride along SteveO. I always enjoy flying with you.
Epic approach into Key West! I was there for Christmas with my family and like always, love the Key West vibe! We flew into MIA, then did the drive with a short visit in Bahia Honda Key on the way down. 🏝🎣🐠🌴🛥🌅
Your ATC is on her game and then some. I like how she has you confirm your target altitude more than once, and she asked if your present rate of climb was okay , which I guess is a good way to make sure you will end up where you belong in relation to all that other traffic she’s shuffling around. Impressive.🤔
Stevo is a CG Veteran . Nick Sharp if yourin the military Thank You for your Service from an Air Force Veteran & VA Retiree as well . Fly safe always . Stay Well & Stay well always
I found this channel about a year ago. I always was inspired to fly. Finally I will be going on my first discovery flight this Friday. This channel is definitely the top fly along channel out here.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. On the approach you flew by my old junior high and high school. Been to Sand Key light often. Back in the day it actually had sand!
No problem Steveo, credit where credit’s due! I’m only at ppl level but I started flying when I was 14 years old through flying both RC fixed wing and rotary wing model aircraft. I remember it taking what felt like an eternity for my 17th birthday to come along at which time I could fly solo which I did do on my 17th birthday but I must say that I’m an avid subscriber to your UA-cam channel and I am pretty much sold on the idea of talking the (much) further steps to achieving my CPL and that inspiration comes mostly through watching your concise videos!! Thank you very much for being such an inspiration my friend!!
It's a very cold day here, 9 degrees Celsius ... ha ha where I live that's not too bad. Just be thankful that you don't get a freezing Southerly with it! Great flight to watch.
I buddy hope you are well. What a beautiful flight weather is brilliant.and the scenery was brilliant. Steveo you make it look so easy you are awesome take care buddy phil.
Steveo, you responded only once to my comment. This reminds me of then. You flew the Caravan into the Bahamas and said why you have a hard time landing on some runways. I then said that it`s like every gran prix driver has his favorite track. Well...this has to be one of yours. Thank you for posting them videos. I do like them a lot. ✈✈✈
Haven't made it more than a couple minutes into the video--that Signature Flight Support crew is doing everything by the book! Very safety conscious ground handling happening there.
As the anticipation builds for the upcoming flight (3rd trip) in my recently purchased 850, I had to watch my favorite UA-cam flyer… Stevo! I greatly appreciate how every video describes the start up process.
Stevio, Really a fun flight. I was in Key West with my buddy years ago. We rove from Merritt Island, slept halfway down and next morning arrived at Key West. Then after about a half hour he said, well we have to get back. So, that was it, a half hour! I saw more from your plane than we saw on the ground except of course, for the ride down and back! Cheers, Rik Spector
Love your video Steve O as I sit here and look at the snow outside in St. Louis drinking my coffee it’s amazing you can fly that far and that quick of a time wishing I could be out in my little stingsport today too cold!
Oh Yeah. N.A.S.K.W. my home for a short while. A little hut off the end of the runway and 4 F-4B Phantoms out front. A lot has changed since I was there no doubt.
I've got about 20 hours of flight training but that was years ago. I never finished but flying along with you makes me want to start over. Love your videos! I love hearing the shoutouts from other pilots while you're flying along. Thanks for sharing these!
SteveO, send a shoutout to your Brazilian friends on the next video! So nice to watch your videos! I hope when I get my PP I get to hear you on one of my radio communication around Orlando and I’ll say “Hello SteveO” !!! 😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😎 blue skies good captain
I recently downloaded Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 and one of the aircraft included is the TBM 930. It's such a blast to fly. When I go through each phase of the flight I always think about your channel. I catch myself talking to no one. "... and there's our rotation speed, gear up, yaw dampner on, pitching for 160 knots indicated..." lol just like a Stevo video. I even fly out of Opa Locka Executive Airport to the Bahamas in the Caravan just to keep it real!
Nice video, what is interesting is your level of calmness definitely higher when air traffic control is calmer, when they were busy around Miami you were more on edge. I really enjoy the videos you make all the way from South Africa
Love the videos! Completely different kind of flying than I do in AK with my chubby cub but there’s tips and tricks in all of your videos. As a pilot one should never stop learning or sharing what you’ve learned! If you make it to AK, fly out fishing trip is on me!
Love Key West! I lived there 4 years, working at NAS Key West approach and tower. Actually got my private pilot’s license and sea plane rating while I was there. I’ve made this trip many times!!
Excellent aviation skills. As a retired army helicopter mechanic and tech inspector, I respect the navigation and communications of your videos. At 70, and just moved next to Fort Bragg NC, these videos bring continued love for aviation.
I'm not sure whether to believe you are what you say you are, but if it's true then more power to you, mister.
This is the very best “fly along” channel. Great narration, and clear explanations! Keep up the great work sir!
ik I cant believe its such a big channel. Seems so mind numbingly boring to watch these full fights honestly. At least he talks the whole time and their not long usually
Love when you say “gotta get to work” , then you look out the window and exclaim how beautiful the view is! You truly have an amazing job!
Yes it WAS a GREAT flight! !! !!! 14:42 See the Iguana???
Thank you so much for using our Bob Dylan remix :) Means a lot to have your support! Sending love and good vibes from Canada!
