this video is yet more evidence for my theory of the Law of Destiny: being a destiny player makes you illiterate. Seriously. like 3/4 of these are just "I never read what my abilities/this weapon's abilities did." the /clear and hipfiring to reduce Taken active ability usage is SUPER niche but massively important knowledge though, so those I approve of.
@@fysy9989 To be completely fair I don't feel like anti-barrier's description is explicitly clear on the fact that it can punch through shielding on regular enemies, but it is logically consistent that it would. Same goes for Overload rounds: they work on players in PVP (barely, but it is there) but you wouldn't know that just from their description.

I have played for about one year now. I safely knew every single one of these except the quest tab one. Some of these are bewildering blind spots (who tf didn’t know about revive tokens and precision rockets..?!!?!)
Knew everything except the tormentors being highly blast resistant. Did I miss some basic info or did you just realize by paying attention to damage numbers?
@@DerfyRed Yup it was the damage numbers that tipped me and my buddy off. Not the actual values, mind, but the fact that numbers from non-precision damage show up in a thin italicized font that looks "weak".
I currently have 1060hrs on destiny 2. A couple of days ago I bought the lightfall dungeon(ghost of the deep and warlord's ruin dungeons) and I have never completed a raid and I thought if a raid or dungeon has the master difficulty option that means it's in rotation,and I quite literally spent 5 days straight doing warlord's ruin for buried bloodline it's only on my 81st completion then I finally decided to do some research because I knew my luck couldnt be that bad with two boosters. Also what contributed to me believing in that is,I would see people getting buried bloodline.
4500 hours since the launch of D2 only last season I discovered you can actually shoot the rockets of those Cabal thresher mid-air. Makes it so much easier to destroy the ship in GM.
The only thing I didn't know in this entire list is that you can change the default quest tab. Fun fact about the dismantling in postmaster thing, that was added in/near Forsaken, took me quite some time to get used to it.
6:37 it used to in d1, and it is still ingrained into my head to sprint for a millisecond to speed up my sniper reload even though it does nothing lmao
@6:37 True, this doesn't work, but it USED TO: Bungie disabled that in either late D1 or early D2 (can't remember which). I did it so often that I STILL catch myself unconsciously doing it from time to time. LOL
When reloading and switching weapons quickly, the switch will usually work as soon as the mag or whatever ammo reloading animation goes into the weapon. So u skip a few milliseconds. But still useful lol
I think the /clear was in a recent update not too long ago so understandable that people dont know that. That's how I learned about it anyway when reading patch notes.
SHADOW PLEASE SEE THIS I discovered during the excision mission at the statue smashing w/sword part. If you mountain top jump( works with Alethonym) at like 95% completion and get your max height double jump then strand grapple straight up. You can get left behind until round 2 smashing starts. You can do it every time. P.S. I messed up the final round but next week ima try to stay behind and see if I can do the ghost beam of light while in there
Here is something for that bit about the anti-barrier weapons thing. It doesn't work if it is a projectile weapon. This has been a glitch since 2019. A.K.A. when Champs were first introduced in Shadowkeep and Bungie still hasn't fixed it. Also has the same issue with Phalanx/Hydra shields.
Just to make sure, I'm assuming by "projectile weapon" you mean "not a hitscan weapon"? As in, you're saying it's broken for things like rockets and grenade launchers? I have to ask because every weapon in destiny is a projectile weapon except swords.
About Subjugator thing: I dont know if the strand/stasis extra dmg only applies on bosses but I dont think it applies on mini-boss subjugators. Also Microcosm destroys the boss subjugators.
I haven't used cataclysm nova bomb and I didn't know that you can no longer detonate your nova bomb by shooting at it. Back in the day I would cast it and then manually detonate that bomb to get crucible kills. To detonate it would take 1 bullet, now I just cast and leave which is awful.
One thing I am baffled people dont know is that invisibility only works on the ground. The amount of times ive had to say to a HUNTER "dont jump while youre invis, they can hear you jump" is mindboggling.
For me it was the cabal crit spot on shield, I didn’t know that it would force them to stager my dumbass would always jump behind and run across them I only learned bc I was doing a duality run with two friends and one died so he was spectating me and he was like ‘bro did you just walk passed him to shoot, you do know his crit spot makes him stagger right’ Been playing since D1 as well
Thumb slipped while in the menu and opened my vault while I was busting caps in the dreaming city literally last night and I spent like 15 min trying to figure out what I did. Granted, DIM can do this but yeah, turns out if you open another planet and select a place to travel to or whatever (I was looking at a neomuna terminal overload) you can hit ↓ (controller) just like when you're in orbit and boom, vault
2050 hours in d1 and 3000+ hours in d2 and learned 2 things: making a quest tab default (how new is this????) and shooting the transcendental enemies while immune gives transcendence energy
How about if you view a weapon and scroll over the stats it tells you what each of them do. Like stability reduces flinch. I didn’t know this until about a month ago

In Perfect Dark--an N64 shooter from 2000--allies above or below you were just triangles, or a circle if at your level. Sad how that option was resolved 14 years before Destiny but Bungie still isn't doing it right. To be fair, they probably really want that whole 'triangle in circle' symbol everywhere they can place it.
To bring the traveler ball to the tower, you normally have to move these color balls into certain spots of the map, All you need to do is pull out your ghost in the spot where the color balls need to go. The only one that you need to actually physically move is the last one. You can go to each spot pull up goes and it will bring up the next ball.
This is “no lie” guys-I’ve played for years and never knew how to use the vault! I’m dead serious! I’ve lost many GM weapons due to space. Luckily I can get exotics still.
Zavala's neck Tattoo is somewhat new, It was added with Forsaken, I think. It definitely wasn't there in D1. Sorry, I felt like I was going insane when I first noticed it and had to look at old footage from like days before whatever expansion it was. I also google it, and nobody seemed to be talking about it. That and the balloon on the moon made me feel like I was going crazy!
another thing is that some dps options are alot easier than the meta and can still give high damage an example i allway suse for lazy dps is 1k as with this seasons artifact making ignitions stronger its actually viable dps
Mine was after 25 clears on rhulk I didn't know everyone else was shooting his thighs as a crit spot. I had been shooting him in the head the whole time not knowing the thighs were easier.
How do I see when I can stun an overload champion? When I recently tried a master lost sector I failed because of the overload. I tried le monarque, slow, hand cannon. But it seemed like there was a stun cool down that lasted so long that the health bar was full again

Being on a Sparrow and being able to use your arms are indicators of direction was the only one i did not know. Played since d1beta 7650hrs

@@mobian2 Yeah. Grenade launchers, Rocket Launchers, Rocket Sidearms, Osteo Striga, the rockets and grenades for Quicksilver Storm, all of that.
The only one I didn’t know is the ravaged crit spot. I’ll definitely use that lol

RE: Heroic Public Events; since I wasn't playing throughout Witch Queen I still have no idea how to trigger the Splinter Escort's heroic mode.
You have to throw every ball they drop at the moving splinter iirc

Warlocks and Titans get 2 mobility and still sprint like everyone else.
thats cause mobility doesnt increase sprint speed, only jump height, strafe speed and slide distance

For the trigger pulling the hammer slowly, I swap to R1 from R2 (ps4 and 5 and the trigger does not do that. No im not going to learn the other way.

I'm a d1 veteran and I'm ashamed to admit I didn't even know champions had visual queue indicators for when they could or could not be stunned.
I'd always just blind fire a champion until they could eventually be stunned, what is the visual queue exactly?
Are they really veterans? I'm not saying I know everything but damn like the matching elements thing ,and accidentally casting a super lol its just funny to me.

Hundreds of hours is amateur please get actual vets, now newbies who think conquer or solo dungeons is something other than average, however my friend who has over 6k+ hours just found out about the dot over enemies shows if they’re finish-able or not
