How to sew neat and straight pleats (with sewing pattern ME2029 View B)

You’ve asked and it’s here! This is the sewing tutorial for sewing the pleats in View B of the ME2029 sewing pattern, my second design for Know Me Patterns (part of Simplicity Patterns).
While the tutorial is specific to the use of the ME2029 sewing pattern, the concepts can be applied to sewing all pleats.

The second one, but I think you'd have to narrow the placket or make it of lace, otherwise will be too much. And the last design lends itself perfectly to a sleeveless variant - maybe a large print floral and the contrast out of a ditsy floral in the ssme colorway, and do a pointed collar. That would be cute
