Woke up too late to attend the seminar live, but grateful for the six hour vod. Thanks for making my art grind bearable with your calm soothing voice, Armchair.
Seriously late VOD gang checking in from a time zone I don’t normally inhabit. Thanks for the lecture Chairman, and congrats on temporarily culling the slide count (for now 😂).
RE: talents praising management: An example of this being done right is Michi and Matara over at VShojo. They volunteered the info about management being helpful when talking about their experience in this industry; they didn't put the info out when VSJ was fighting some sort of PR battle involving management. Talents being made or volunteering to defend management only when shit has hit the fan is a suspect action that even grade school children would be able to pick up on.
Started late and couldn’t catch up gang here. The way Kawaii’s remaining talents circled the wagons over the gen 3 departure left such a bad taste in my mouth that I actively avoided supporting the company in any way until it was dead and buried. Now that it’s gone though, I highly recommend checking out Tomoe Carmine. She’s an amazing singer. As for EIEN, I think it’s very telling that none of the talents (iirc) that purchased their IP plan to continue using the names or models they had under the company. Thanks for another great lecture, chairman
@@HyperShauta skye is to a limited degree although she's obviously more focused in the new agency she's at and amora is sticking around and only reason she's thinking of a new model is because as nice as it is it's nigh on impossible to have outfits rigged for it. I'm sad that mirri isn't being used as I prefer the design to her new persona character design but at least she can use it whenever she likes. I agree somewhat though as it is really only 2 who are still using their ip from eien. I don't have x so I don't know if nemo has returned after her spat with rev and strawb but I hope she is actually staying off the Internet for awhile and seeks some professional help as she obviously is pretty unstable and losing navi literally broke her in the worst way possible and she's burning bridges because of her own bad pr since the bitterness got the best of her.
@@HyperShautawhole situation is really sad and I completely agree with armcha1r's analysis of eien. I only hope she does not lose her friendship with ferumi and can actually turn herself around.
I find the statement interesting that their assumption of after the meeting announcing graduation when they stated that wasn’t the plan wasn’t just the meeting with management went worse than expected. Gen 3 could’ve intended to just talk things out but negotiations soured and yet none of the other talents seem to consider it a possibility- or if they did were forced to silence those possibilities
Unfortunately I can say with absolute certaincy, that Kawaii-staff are not ready to deal with this amount of talents demands and needs. I actually saw how lovely management is based on how the fans and talents interact with them , I assume that there is not enough of them if that's the case. Listening to all the demotivated energy each talent gotten, especially Isla, really was depressing to listen to. I really rooted for some of the talent there. I will note that I sensed an awkward barrier as well when I notice a V-Dere and Kawaii indirect collab before the collapse.
One detail that was missed with EIEN is they apparently had some schmuck(s) digging into the personal lives of the talents and harassing them over past things that they said. This was disclosed by Blaise Shinryu (now BlaiseBug) who went full mask off the moment she realized she no longer has a contractual obligation to bite her tongue, so she started up a stream, puffed a load of weed live, and then put the harassment on blast on top of venting about her personal life. I feel sorry for her because she seems to be someone who wears her heart on her sleeve and just wants to be heard, loved, and understood but it was one of the saddest streams I've ever listened to, and something that probably shouldn't have happened. Pity Kilia wasn't happy, guess her saying EIEN was great before she left was just her being polite; She just recently re-emerged as Ekkomori. Amora bought her IP but she is also pinedear. Mirri Saffire renamed to Mira Monsoon and is also PrawnStarItsi. Zumi is Kaipa as shown, Navi is Nemo but yikes she had a meltdown recently and got into a twitter spat with Rev and he retaliated by roasting her for attacking his wife in a video that got nearly 200k views. Skye Shinryu is now Skye Senfort, and Kiki Lockheart is a bunny png streamer named CunnieHoe (yes really).

What I expected: Small corpo deaths due to vague internal conflicts
What I got: Small Nijisanjis going down due to personal woes

It's a crying shame that I'm late to the party, would've probably been fun to share a bit. Really great video though, 10/10
I swear I just finished your last one and now I've got another. These are fantastic and I honestly learn alot from them.

IP has NOTHING to do with a talent agency, unless you are an agent who has to protect image of mega superstars like Rock or Nick Cage
I wonder if you will ever do a deep dive in Phase connect.
