Dissecting Nijisanji's Manipulative PR Strategy
It's a crying shame that I'm late to the party, would've probably been fun to share a bit. Really great video though, 10/10
I find the statement interesting that their assumption of after the meeting announcing graduation when they stated that wasn’t the plan wasn’t just the meeting with management went worse than expected. Gen 3 could’ve intended to just talk things out but negotiations soured and yet none of the other talents seem to consider it a possibility- or if they did were forced to silence those possibilities

2:58:13 I swear "reaching a 1000 talents" is the Sonichu medallion of vtuber corporations.
fantastic presentation as always chair man! Learned a lot from this
kawaii didn't end so kawaii and AY-EN 2k and you keep your IP that was more gawky then gracefull
Woke up too late to attend the seminar live, but grateful for the six hour vod. Thanks for making my art grind bearable with your calm soothing voice, Armchair.
I wonder if you will ever do a deep dive in Phase connect.
I swear I just finished your last one and now I've got another. These are fantastic and I honestly learn alot from them.
Congrats on your relationship with Grace.
Unfortunately I can say with absolute certaincy, that Kawaii-staff are not ready to deal with this amount of talents demands and needs. I actually saw how lovely management is based on how the fans and talents interact with them , I assume that there is not enough of them if that's the case. Listening to all the demotivated energy each talent gotten, especially Isla, really was depressing to listen to. I really rooted for some of the talent there. I will note that I sensed an awkward barrier as well when I notice a V-Dere and Kawaii indirect collab before the collapse.
IP has NOTHING to do with a talent agency, unless you are an agent who has to protect image of mega superstars like Rock or Nick Cage
One detail that was missed with EIEN is they apparently had some schmuck(s) digging into the personal lives of the talents and harassing them over past things that they said. This was disclosed by Blaise Shinryu (now BlaiseBug) who went full mask off the moment she realized she no longer has a contractual obligation to bite her tongue, so she started up a stream, puffed a load of weed live, and then put the harassment on blast on top of venting about her personal life. I feel sorry for her because she seems to be someone who wears her heart on her sleeve and just wants to be heard, loved, and understood but it was one of the saddest streams I've ever listened to, and something that probably shouldn't have happened. Pity Kilia wasn't happy, guess her saying EIEN was great before she left was just her being polite; She just recently re-emerged as Ekkomori. Amora bought her IP but she is also pinedear. Mirri Saffire renamed to Mira Monsoon and is also PrawnStarItsi. Zumi is Kaipa as shown, Navi is Nemo but yikes she had a meltdown recently and got into a twitter spat with Rev and he retaliated by roasting her for attacking his wife in a video that got nearly 200k views. Skye Shinryu is now Skye Senfort, and Kiki Lockheart is a bunny png streamer named CunnieHoe (yes really).
By "digging into personal lives" you surely aren't referring to Blaise's PL, her abrasive rants about EIEN on it (while still in EIEN), and her previous donothons that she held for her dog's hospital bills that she spent at a convention shortly after, then came back, held another donothon then graduated into EIEN before delivering on all her dono rewards and deleting her PL's account so that she wouldn't have to worry about it, right? Of course, after the backlash that followed her she eventually made a statement after EIEN closed and she didn't really have many other options, she offered "to refund anybody that could show her a receipt or prove that they paid if they feel they were scammed" But realistically it was very unlikely that there was any more than 1 person that watched her PL and continued to watch her afterwards. Could be that you were just sharing what you heard from her on the stream and didn't really know much of the underlying context of the story, which would be totally understandable, because most of the "knowers" don't really bother much in putting in the effort to talk about it.
*sigh* another vod for the ever growing playlist

RE: talents praising management: An example of this being done right is Michi and Matara over at VShojo. They volunteered the info about management being helpful when talking about their experience in this industry; they didn't put the info out when VSJ was fighting some sort of PR battle involving management. Talents being made or volunteering to defend management only when shit has hit the fan is a suspect action that even grade school children would be able to pick up on.
Thank you for keeping the Vods for us poor europoors
Seriously late VOD gang checking in from a time zone I don’t normally inhabit. Thanks for the lecture Chairman, and congrats on temporarily culling the slide count (for now 😂).
Started late and couldn’t catch up gang here. The way Kawaii’s remaining talents circled the wagons over the gen 3 departure left such a bad taste in my mouth that I actively avoided supporting the company in any way until it was dead and buried. Now that it’s gone though, I highly recommend checking out Tomoe Carmine. She’s an amazing singer. As for EIEN, I think it’s very telling that none of the talents (iirc) that purchased their IP plan to continue using the names or models they had under the company. Thanks for another great lecture, chairman
@@HyperShauta skye is to a limited degree although she's obviously more focused in the new agency she's at and amora is sticking around and only reason she's thinking of a new model is because as nice as it is it's nigh on impossible to have outfits rigged for it. I'm sad that mirri isn't being used as I prefer the design to her new persona character design but at least she can use it whenever she likes. I agree somewhat though as it is really only 2 who are still using their ip from eien. I don't have x so I don't know if nemo has returned after her spat with rev and strawb but I hope she is actually staying off the Internet for awhile and seeks some professional help as she obviously is pretty unstable and losing navi literally broke her in the worst way possible and she's burning bridges because of her own bad pr since the bitterness got the best of her.
@ I think Nemo’s twitter stayed deactivated for maybe 2 days *max*, unfortunately
@@HyperShautawhole situation is really sad and I completely agree with armcha1r's analysis of eien. I only hope she does not lose her friendship with ferumi and can actually turn herself around.
Thats one hell if a thumbnail lmao
What I expected: Small corpo deaths due to vague internal conflicts What I got: Small Nijisanjis going down due to personal woes
VOD Gang.
VOD GANG
2:00 if only he knew…
I watched the thing on double speed. I am surprised I was able to hear what Mizu was saying before you slowed it down
This question has nothing to do with anything. Is that pink your favorite color?
Me everytime : wow, that sound bad. I wonder what chairman have to say about this. The chair : now this might sound callous. Me : *gasp*
It’s hard to not dislike vshojo as an agency/manangement. They’ve been around for almost half a decade and are still this incompetent on how to run things. Must be sheer luck that they are still afloat, when other vtuber companies and agencies are dropping like flies.
Big mistake trying to binge this through a week. Now I made myself sad.
VOD gang. ....I'm speechless. I really am.
A streamer I watch implied that she was going to apply to this agency and I'm really glad she didn't
2:34:08 my rrrat is still that Omegaα was formerly Noor, from Nijisanji India (which was shut down not long before Irys' debut). The look and lore of the two also overlaps a lot, and we know that around the time Omegaα stepped down, both the collab ban between NijiEN and HoloEN was finally lifted, and Noor was soon confirmed to now (at the time) be a manager for NijiEN. So, essential Holo scooped up Noor, which pissed NijiEN management off, and then Niji got her back and dropped their embargo of Holo
This was a big one. I remember seeing bits of it as it happened, but didn't really pay attention at the time. Dang.
As for False EyeD's Twitch vods its 25 days old (as of this comment) with a similar title "can nini be saved?...." the vod should be around for at most 2 months (2 month old vods are still up)
another on point informative stream to really explain and point out the errors (one of the many things I got out of the stream) is how the framing of the events changed and how people try to control the framing of the story. also it just hit me that it would be really funny that ArmChair when he gets a throne one day (unless he already has one) that the avatar would be a larger arm chair that looks more closely towards what would be described as a literal throne chair
I think the incident that really cemented my negative opinion of Nux is the time when he got scammed by somebody posing as a hiring manager for Vshojo who was claiming the they were interested in hiring him, and instead of messaging one of the numerous people in the organization who he was on fairly friendly terms with at the time to confirm whether or not that it was legit, he walked face first into it, and then released a video blaming vshojo for the fact that he got scammed by somebody pretending to be them. I don’t think he ever apologized for doing that. The Taiga incident just confirmed that I was correct in my estimation of him
Notes on ways to not run a Vtuber company, not to spread a message to public and how to check if your intentions match the outcome. Thanks for the informative streams and all the best !!
Not gonna lie, when you read "I love my Nijisanji family" you got me. For a moment I thought he would be naive enough to actually write that. Had to go back in the video to confirm. Just to realize I got bambozelt by a piece of furniture.
@2:57:30 "moving forward" the problem isn't so much whats said there, its the time frame they want to work with. phase is basically doing that, just better. start with a handful, figure it out, make it work, then expand. its just phase is doing that in order. corps like this seem to want to start with a handful, then expand. then presumably, ??? will happen, and it will work. despite what they say, they seem intent on skipping the 'figure it out, make it work' parts. they want to cheese it by just throwing talents at it until it sorts itself out. its like they are oddly fixated on a hololive business structure, when they want vshojo's talent structure. and they expect that to just magically resolve itself? they want to make talents and own IPs, but they want to treat them like already successful indies that largely manage themselves. profit from that success without having to actually dedicate a couple years to building it. i assume because the point is to milk it for all the profit they can squeeze out of it, because this whole project is a throw away attempt to promote their streaming apps. they don't want to put the time into this because its not the project, the app is the project. they are just trying to get lucky with a viral IP they can own and control, that will pull western traffic to their apps. they want an ironmouse or a shylily that they can make a mascot out of.
