- Main thing I didn't know when I was making this video: The "Driver" passives on the original P5 cast Personas are exclusive and seemingly stack with things like Boost+Amp. So the base P5 Personas may be able to output the most damage in the game, surprisingly. That 100% puts them way higher. I originally didn't think these passives would be exclusive because it would make the base P5 Personas better than the awakened versions, but here we are.
- Some of the other DLC moves have been getting datamined (like Sinful Shell and Rebellion Blade), and they're actually pretty balanced and similar to other lategame moves. Could you pass down better damaging moves for them? That might make them good.
Damn, if this is true then Black Viper and Morning Star would still be the best Almighty attack bar Armageddon.

Can the evolved P5 personas inherit the driver skills from the original forms if fused into them? As an example, according to the fusion calculator you can fuse carmen and cybele to make hecate. If hecate can inherit fire driver in this manner she could be the strongest fire element personaby stacking the driver, amp and boost passive skills with her unique fire skill. I still need to check if the other evolved personas can be made using their base forms. Black Viper and Morning Star still should be the best almighty skills tho.
I really wanna see How you're gonna build Telos. In the og p3 Orpheus Telos has a trait that he Can inherit basically anything even unique skills so in THEORY we Can make a Telos with Magic boost/ almighty boost+ amp and sinful shell

@@JohnnyFish971it’s always been like that in 5, all magic skills he’ll do the fist animation and all phys will have him use his gun, they still shoudlve made it so he used his gun for sinful shell though, like c’mon in 5 it makes sense as you can’t use it outside of that one cutscene but now it should’ve been give a unique animation or the same a phys.
Izanagi no Okami carried us in Persona 5 Royal. Satanael time travels back to carry us in Persona 3 Reload.
He might return as future dlc is confirmed though I hope we at least get yoshitsune for the extra crit skills compared to p5r unless there is a cap to crot chance.
Nah, he's pretty mediocre, compared to other personas in the franchise, Sinful Shell isn't that great either, Between buying a DLC or using Messiah with Morningstar and almighty boost/amp I would go with Messiah.
The damage difference isn't that huge and considering you're going to run over everything anyway, Sinful Shell's hitkill chance is pretty useless.

Honestly, Cendrillion has been my favorite Persona in the DLC. I got Slash boost, Slash Amp, and both severe slash skills (Brave Blade and Vorpal Blade). Combined with the driver skill, it deletes almost everything even without charge applied. And since Sumire was my favorite character, it's really nice to me that it's super powerful. And unlike a certain other game Cendrillion was in, I can actually use it for more than an hour per run of the game.
Would you put single target boost for brave blade or multi target boost for vorpal blade? I cant decide
@MrPeasant213 honestly, with the Driver, I don't even think you NEED one or the other. But I'd probably do single target for big bosses. If you're facing a bunch of opponents, they're probably not super hard to take put with the other party members
To my knowledge, a maxed out cendrillon with THAT theurgy is the only thing in the game that can one shot the reaper (excluding that other theurgy). I barely managed to do over 10k with all the crit buffs you could possibly get, blood charge and heat riser. You could do more with debilitate, but I didn't care to find out since he kept buffing himself over it.
I keep Loki with me at all times, my fav persona for sure. Happy to have him as a DLC in this!
Hell yeah! same here! great persona too objectively. That debilitate is wild once you get your hands on it.
Mine too, I hate Akechi from the bottom of my soul, but I love the version of Loki he uses and for years I cursed Atlus for limiting him to a party member that you can only use for something like 2 hours.
I wish his exclusive ability wasn't almighty, If it were physical it would be cooler but I accept it as it is too.

Izanagi is already S tier for me because he exists, favorite Persona Design by a mile, was even better in P5 because Joker would actually say Cross Slash when you used it and that was just feelsgoodman
Biggest potential imo is those driver skills, if they are inheritable and can stack with boost/amp, we could get some massive damage with the severe skills of the awakened ones
I think those Driver passives are supposed to act like a fusion of the Boost/Amp skills, as it provides the same boost as those two passives combined.
But if they still have the 100% damage boost cap like in P5R, then those driver passives would only be good at freeing up extra skill slot lol

Yeah, I'm currently assuming they are transferable. We'll see if they stack with boost/amp, and if there's any sort of damage cap in this game

Since there will be a dlc for the answer if its paid I gues they could add the rest of the p4 personas for that boundle, specially cause p4 will at some point get this exact same treatment (hopefully they dont do p4 base game, and also they do the P2s before it)
I basically had Makoto become all Phantom Thieves (+Crow and Violet) in One since the Driver skills allow you to really really specialize every of the PTs base Personas into their element and Johanna, Cendrillion and Milady boost the Physical types. It was an incredibly strong build since Makoto could exploit any weakness and at the same time it was great fun to play with the gang. Absolutely recommended

Seeing this video after another one of Cendrillon dealing over 5k damage with a Brave Blade and all the Slash boosting and crit boosting passives is certainly an experience.
If you want Satanael to reach InO levels, you would have to make bosses be susceptible to critical hits, replace the instant death with a high crit chance, then make black viper weaker and rebellion blades buff be equivalent to a crit. And then make his resist physical just to be safe.
I hope you do a updated Arsene or Satanael build for this game 🙏
I think looking at personas as only endgame persona is a bit unfair. You should also consider how they are when compared to similar leveled ones.
Like if the P5 personas are all around lvl 20-30 how does this stand up to similar ones?
Well, I did mention that the DLC Personas are of course better than any of the base game ones around their own level

arcade game, stat cards for acing exams from mitsuru and buying them at the antigue shop by the pharmacy unless they change it from p3 fes and p3p
@@peterwilkinson9391 yeah i saw you could do that but i’m pretty sad that’s the ONLY way to do it, considering in p5 you could max out all personas you want to in a single day if you plan it out and p4 you could also max out persona stats it kinda sucks that p3 is limited to a per day thing p
Satanael is VERY strong. He learns Heat Riser at some poin and it only adds to the insanity

Yeah I was hype on using Satanael hoping he was like Izanagi no Okami in P5R but he just subpar at best. It just door of hades from Thanatos in P5R.

Im not exactly sure why P4 only has 3 Persona and 2 of them are just Izanagi. I love Izanagi and I used him throughout the game with an AOE crit slash build with a single target crit slash skill as well. He was fantastic and cleared out everything turn 1 on hard. Still, I really wish we just got the entire P4 cast of Persona 4 since I really would like to use Naoto's Persona.
Cendrillion with crit rate boost crit ray amp, apt pupil vorpal blade and its unique slash boost skill which stacks with the other slash boost makes her one of the strongest personas in my opinion unless the enemy blocks physical

i cant wait to jump into P3R but I'm kinda worried if they gonna sell The Answer as separate game (like Persona 3 Reload : something-something edition like they did with Golden and Royal) instead of as DLC. i don't mind if they sell it as DLC tho, so I don't have to buy it twice.
It was confirmed it will not have an edition like golden or royal, however dlc files were found in the game and it's probably gonna be the answer

I really REALLY like Cendrillion's design so once I read the slash driver skill my jaw dropped lol. I got the DLC and the game as a gift from a friend, but I decided not to use them until very late in the game so I could fuse them into powerful stuff (like amp driver + amp + boost + apt pupil cendrillion)
this time not all will be revealed
I like using dlc persona cuz I’m more of a story enjoyer than meta battle hardened player. I don’t care if they’re busted if I want a challenge I just don’t use them simple as that. But 80% of the game is a grind in metaverse or Tartarus or tv worlds so I want to enjoy my time doing it.

The Driver skills make those Persona the best in their damage type. Arsene and Robin Hood struggle due to only having Eigaon and Kougaon as their best damage types though.
Doesn't this just mean that the P5 starting personas have the highest damage ceiling? You can give them boost + Amp + Driver + single target boost and the highest damage single target elemental spells, like Thunder Reign.

Although for max damage stuff, only Cendrillon is needed. Pair every possible boost to multihit slash on her and use Scarlet Havoc.

You very much DID miss something with the P5 cast Personas: “Driver” skills are totally new to the series, and cannot be obtained through other Personas. This is a big deal too, cuz before now it was only “Boost” and “Amp”, which boost by +25% and +50% respectively and could stack. They were even *multiplicative* in P5, and if that remains the case, adding in a +75% multiplier is *insane*, taking what was a 1.825x damage multiplier to a *3.28x damage multiplier*. Passively boosting an element by more than triple, then adding in buffs on top… the damage ceiling is insane.
All this is assuming they didn’t cap the total multiplier or something tho, P5 had capped it at 2x… here’s hoping they let us totally break the game lol
Yeah I wasn't thinking that the Driver passives would be non-transferable. We'll have to see if there's some type of damage cap in this game, that'll need more testing

vanadis with crit boost and slash boost plus revolution is a physical monster if you game corner her STR all the way to 99

You could just summon/fuse them when you reach their level. They are still a lot better than other Personas around their level, but they can be pretty fun. If it's too easy, just fuse them away
i really wonder if they’ll do the “true” personas you can get in p5r’s postgame/epilogue

Based on this Loki the dark Izanagi and the kagura chick seems like the personas I will buy. And I guess the p5 cast clothes and that’s it. Dont really need nothing else.
honestly, a week in and i find messiah to probably be the strongest persona in this game
between draining light and dark, nulling all phys and resisting everything else along with getting regenerate and invigorate 3, hes pretty busted
i have a question, why satanael in my game deals max 160 dmg instead of thousands ?
Did you accidentally fuse into him? If you can even do that, that is. If you compendium summon him he starts at lvl 89

I'm gonna make a broken build for Satanael like in persona 5 royal.
Ann's persona was already kinda busted against anything not resistant to fire, not on the same levels as Yukiko's persona in terms of stat and skills but strong enough to deal massive damage. P4G personas in general tho the fully awakened post main game ones were just on another level and they had to make a horrible dungeon to counter them because they were so op. So I have a feeling many of these dlc personas are best not bought or used til you beat the game or you'll ruin the experience for yourself cuz they are too strong.

It just hit me that they actually nerfed Satanael cause he doesn't resist "Physical" attacks in this game like he does in P5. And I get this is so he doesn't overshadow both Messiah and Orpheus Telos. I mean sure he does have the strongest move in the game now that they game Sinful Shell a move, and Izanagi-no-Okami isn't present to just one shot everything with Myriad Truths like in Royal, but still. Crazy
Honestly liking Vanadis more than the others, well also liking Kaguya as well. I would use Satanael but you can't really afford the sp early game, well you can just not much but at least with Vanadis you can afford the 20 hp for her powerful attack. I will admit though it's crazy how you can actually use Sinful Shell in this game but not p5 besides mods or story like come on.
Anyways remember that even though most the dlc personas might feel like cheating obviously you don't have to use them but it's your gameplay experience no one elses and you did pay for them so... have at it ig.

Of course the DLC personas are gonna be good. I made that mistake of running the dlc ones in P5R and it trivialized the game. So I just made to choice to not use them at all and play like you should the first time through and collect the base game personas which turned out to be the right call in the end. Also, the game was way more fun grinding and fusing for better personas instead of constantly OHKOing everything you come up against.
Agreed, p2w personas are disgustingly broken.
I just didn'r buy the persona 3 reload dlc packs for that exact purpose plus I was kinda done with persona 5 at that point. 🙏

I don't understand why izanagi no okami isn't there. I do get myriad truths was broken, but they could less nerf it to like 3 or 4 medium Almighty.
You'd need to crank up the MP cost heavily, or severely lower the damage (due to square root base power)

I believe those passives can be inherited by other Personas. I'd need to play more to confirm tho

I'm not going to lie The Dlc persona feel pretty lackluster to say the less.
I'm still going to Get the DLC Personas but I find it weird that we didn't get the Final forms from Persona 5 Royal but only getting the Awaken forms from Persona 5 with Kasumi as a Exception.

In p5r i just ran through it myriad truths, but in reload im actually inly using the dlc persona's when i get to around that kevek, like 20-25 for Arsène and 40-50 for izanagi and magatsu. Its been a lot of fun

You forgot to mention the future skills that the personas learn. Satanael learns almighty amp, which is not available for the base game. This skill makes amighty skills very busted.
He only learns Almighty Boost though? Amp is only available from skill mutation
Thank God Izanagi No Okami isn't here...what on earth were Atlus thinking when they made Myriad Truths? It made P5R an absolute cheese through ( even though I used him on my second and currently third replay so I can achieve 100%)

I used Okami sparingly and only first time on Maruki and on Lavenza cuz otherwise I don't see myself beat her duo to not managing her crit phase
Its sad that They Nerfed Shining arrows. From Always 8 attacks to 4 to 8 Attacks. The only skill that can match hassou tobi
