Yes, I recorded all of the performances back in '94 on my VCR because I couldn't watch them live, and when I saw this, the perfection took my breath away. I kept this performance and I show it to guests. Good to see someone else on UA-cam appreciates it too!
Watching this program, I can't help but wondering why pair skating doesn't look like this today. Often skaters pack their program with alot of technical difficulties, leaving little room for great choreography, and artistry. I really miss the old days, maybe it's just me-sigh

There will never be another Pair like them. They chose not to just work together, but to be a team. There’s a difference. Pairs today dissolve after one bad competition. A team stays together despite a bad competition. They did fall in love and their daughter looks just like her dad. I cried and cried when the news broke that he died.
I saw them do this at a Stars on Ice performance, I was sitting in a chair along the ice and to date, it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life, their artistry, perfection and the love they conveyed to each other. I still get chills thinking about it. There were truly extraordinary.
