I love these tours Jonathan and Tom are so down to earth. Some magnificent organs seen and heard. Heights scaled. I am no longer able to climb narrow stairs inside Pillars so I really enjoy Tom's ability to go almost anywhere. Thank you so much gentlemen for sharing this video with us. James.
How crazy for Tom to climb those heights. How scary it is. The restorant church is victorious. It's great that they were able to restore it completely. Jonathan debuted the new organ. Congratulations. These videos from various locations are very interesting. I get to know different countries and places thanks to you two. Thanks.
My Dear Brothers as usual you make and made my day. Beautiful video, splendid places and lots of history. This time I would say that most of the talking was done by Tom. But we know that Jonathan was very busy with "the registrations" . Many many thanks dear brothers for your time and for always being. All the very best to you both.
I love your 'On Tour' and Q&A broadcasts and look forward to seeing more. Tom, you crack me up! You are such a comic and so serious when you perform. I LOVE all the performances and the sound/camera work and am very grateful that I can experience them online. I now live in Australia and seeing the churches I have visited many times, the M62, the Failsworth Pole etc. and hearing your Manc accents, is a bonus and connect me with home.
Just purchased the Lego organ kit from the Chester Cathedral gift shop!! Excited! Thanks for another fun tour of beautiful cathedrals - scary heights & all. Looking forward to the Ripon royal concert. 👑 👋👋🎹🎶
Hi Tom, Great Travel Vlog, glad to see Lower Broughton organ in such good company with Chester and Ripon. Memorable images of Chester with it's 'Regal Camera Footage', Ripon with its 'Famous Rainbow' and Lower Broughton with 'The Newest'.... Scott brothers' wave 👋😂 😂
This tour with you two was just fantastic! Chester is one of the most beautiful churches you've ever shown us and it has a lot of history. And Salford Church and its organ have been wonderfully reborn. Thank you both for bringing us this beautiful video!
So great to hear from you again. Fascinating to see the new organ and learn more about your cathedrals. Please give us more of your music. Here in New Zealand we love hearing from you
Another great Travel Vlog, gentlemen - I know both Cathedrals very well! The new pipe organ in Lower Broughton looks really interesting. Tom - despite your own amazing individual talent - you are such a natural 'UA-camr' as well. I really love your 'dry' sense of humour! Very best wishes to you both.
You guys are doing such a wonderful job of showing the complexity and majesty of the “king of instruments” from so many different ages. Every video you make is not only interesting from a technical perspective, but historical as well as musical. Each of you contributes to the overall interest and enjoyment. You’re great ambassadors for Britain, Europe and Music!! Thank you!!!
Wonderful organs, but, oh those heights. It makes me feel giddy even on a small screen. And just a touch of Widor from memory to finish with. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you both again for all your hard work. And the music!
Anticipating an amazing experience, when you unveil your tribute to the new monarch, in "Music for a Royal Occasion", which, I guess, will appear around May 6th. I visited Chester in 1982 and was intrigued by the wonderful Tudor architecture, and the unique aerial walkways.
Thank you for yet another brilliant video. I especially love the "tours" that you take us on and hearing Jonathan on these wonderful organs throughout your very special country. I look forward to the coming recordings! Thanks, again! P.S. The Ripon Rainbow is something to remember! 😜🌈
Thank you for showing off all these organs with good humor, sense of adventure, and, of course, amazing musicianship. I've only ever heard a live organ concert once (by Felix Hell who happened to give a concert within driving distance), but the Scott Brothers videos have really made me a fan of the instrument. If you ever come across the Pond on a tour, I'll definitely go see it (especially love to be at one of your piano & organ concerts). Can't wait for the Chester and Ripon concerts! (Btw, I received the batch of Scott Brothers Duo CDs I ordered recently. Thank you! Great playing and sound quality. I recommend them to anyone reading this comment if you're into CDs. Incidentally, I don't know who does the packaging - Jonathan, Tom, or a third party - but they have really nice handwriting.)
That was a lot of fun! Rather you than me scaling the heights Tom, although you must have got great views from up there I couldn't look!! Chester & Ripon Cathedrals never disappoint, so I'm eagerly awaiting the concerts from there - spectacular views & all!! Wonderful vlog - so good to keep up to date with your exploits. The restoration of the church in Lower Broughton is amazing & the sweet little organ is just the icing on the cake. I'll be watching this space with eager anticipation!!
Absolutely loved the tour , very glad I didn’t have to do those steps , but it made me imagine a new composition for the coronation that included an actual peal of bell and Tom on trumpet and anew very grand organ piece by maestro Jonathan 🥳
I’ve only just started watching and listening to different organ music…although I’ve sung in a good number of choirs over the years. I’ve been investigating different music for my daughters wedding. But… I realise just how much I enjoy organ recitals. Thankyou both for the journey to Chester and Ripon and then to Broughton. Great idea to film it like this. God Bless safe travels and enjoy Holy Week.
The LEGO of the Cathedral is awesome. Lots of work has gone into that, I am sure. The remains of the Amphitheatre was interesting to see. I can just imagine listening to the organ in that Cathedral is something else. As a young boy, I loved going to the church where my grandfather ministered just to hear the organ music. Fantastic video.
And Good 'Morro to you too! Finally! A use for all those extra Lego laying about. So much to see. I've been waiting for this presentation a long-long while. I've just finished watching the video, WOW, good job all around guys. Thanks I'm waving back, bye. XX
I'm lucky enough to - many many years ago - have been able to clamber through the many walls and secret passageways of Chester Cathedral, I think I walked some of the same walkways Tom showed in this video, and I've been on top of the tower too. It's truly an amazing place, and an absolute testament to the skills of those who built it hundreds of years ago. If you, dear reader, are ever in the vicinity of Chester, it's a fabulous city and well worth a visit; dripping with history and beautiful architecture - and, of course, a wonderful cathedral. I'd love to hear Jonathon play there, and will definitely be looking out for his next Chester concert. Thanks lads, for showcasing the city of my birth so brilliantly! (oh, me, biased much? 😁)
Very interesting to learn more about the Organs of Chester and Ripon Cathedrals. Fine playing as always ! Good to know the Church of the Ascension is now fully restored. Looking forward to hearing The Planets and the music for a Royal Occasion !
Great video - thoroughly enjoyed it. I wish the little snippets of Jonathan demonstrating the sounds that an organ can make were a little longer. A very interesting part was skimmed over unfortunately. However - still marvellous! 🙂
Keep up promoting the pipe organ! Even here in Mallorca the youth are beginning to appreciate what fine music they produce and more learning to play. Just have to free up access from the clutches of possesive parish priests!
Everyone else has said all I woud want to write. You two are a breath of fresh air in a world filled with gas-bags! Can you 'do' one on Canterbury cathedral's organ? As an adolescent (Canterbury being my 'local' cathedral) I was always amazed that the organ was completely hidden from view. It was as though sounds were emanating from the air.
Excellent! A visit to the Midmer-Losh at the Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City USA is rapidily becoming a viable proposition - most of the action has now been converted to digital, and a large percentage of the pipework is operational once more (though tuning is still dodgy)... the 32' and 64' Diaphones are unbelievable!
Thanx fellas!---Jonathan, do you ever get the cathedral tours that Tom gets while you're setting up?---Keep the waves...it always makes me instinctively wave back!
So enjoyed this early Easter Friday morning ✝️ thank you brothers. Neat to see Dad too. A Royal Occasion? Are you playing for the King? 👑🇬🇧 When are you coming to New Zealand? 😀
That newest organ sounds marvelous! It seems like a rather minimalist console, compared to the five-manual monsters with three times as many stops that we see so often.
These church / organ tours are great! Can you publish some concerts on super audio CD (SACD) or DVD? The 32' stops don't survive UA-cam and I would love to hear the recordings in 5.1 surround sound.
Jonathan is amazing.
You two humanise the instruments. Thank you for your love of organs and sharing it with us.
James.
He is another great ambassador for our instrument, no ego just amazing skills, especially with his transcriptions
Can't wait to listen to the new concert. Greetings from New Mexico USA.
I love the behind the scenes you both are wonderful musicians and loads of fun
Great video! Thanks! Congratulations to Henry Groves & Son on their beautiful "new" baby. It sounds splendid!
Thank you to Jonathan and Tom for an informative and interesting video.
Looking forward to these concerts.
Thanks brothers for the tour and the new organ. Looking forward to hear your online concert.

Thanks! Can’t wait for that online concert! 💕💕🎶🎹🎶🎹💕💕
Thank you for sharing and I really enjoyed this video, as I do all your videos, here in the USA on the South Atlantic Coast!
Thanks guys. These are always fun.

Thank you Tom and Jonathan for the wonderful tour!
Just purchased the Lego organ kit from the Chester Cathedral gift shop!! Excited! Thanks for another fun tour of beautiful cathedrals - scary heights & all. Looking forward to the Ripon royal concert. 👑 👋👋🎹🎶
Thanks for sharing this new organ. Excitiing!
Thanks for taking us along at Ripon and showing us all the incredible views from on high!

Jonathan's version of the planet suite is absolutely fantastic ❤❤❤❤❤
This tour with you two was just fantastic! Chester is one of the most beautiful churches you've ever shown us and it has a lot of history. And Salford Church and its organ have been wonderfully reborn. Thank you both for bringing us this beautiful video!
So much teasing! Can’t wait to hear the final recordings from these three great instruments.
Jonathan and Tom, I enjoyed the tour immensely. Looking forward to the concerts.
So great to hear from you again. Fascinating to see the new organ and learn more about your cathedrals. Please give us more of your music. Here in New Zealand we love hearing from you
Wonderful as always, visually and sonically!!!
Love it! Looking forward to the online concert! Thank you for sharing!

While it is true, that i've never come across an organ vid that i didn't click on, I did genuinely enjoy this. 🙂
Looks like a fun organ tour. Can’t wait to hear more.
🌴☀️🌴
Beautiful as always Gentlemen 🥰🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏👏
Hello there from Knoxville Tennessee USA. What a pleasure to find you 😊.
Ah yes Tennessee, in the news and not in a good way
Hallo!
I Love your Journey very much.
I have much fun with you!
Its Wonderful.
Thank you Jonathan and Tom.
With Love from the Netherlands.
Great music Jonathan and seeing the sights of my home town Chester. My church has a small pipe organ compaired to the ones that you show
Anticipating an amazing experience, when you unveil your tribute to the new monarch, in "Music for a Royal Occasion", which, I guess, will appear around May 6th. I visited Chester in 1982 and was intrigued by the wonderful Tudor architecture, and the unique aerial walkways.
Loved watching your newest musical tour (as always). Cheers from The Netherlands!

Hello from France. Very beautiful cathedrals and very beautiful organs. You need to be quieter in these places.

God Bless safe travels and enjoy Holy Week.
Three fantastic locations. But Ripon rules! I am really looking forward to the online concert from there.
I reckon Ripon gives St. Ouen, Rouen, a good challenge for its 32' Bombarde!
Great video! Looking forward to seeing you at the Bridgewater Hall next week.
What a tour, from both of you!! Looking forward to hearing another great concert in sight and sound. Thanks

Interesting that in two of the churches the cabled consoles now allow the organist to take the place of the altar! (I'm all in favour)
Love it!!!
Liked the Legoes too…
Still have mine, and I’m 63 almost!!!
Great video - thoroughly enjoyed it. I wish the little snippets of Jonathan demonstrating the sounds that an organ can make were a little longer. A very interesting part was skimmed over unfortunately. However - still marvellous! 🙂
Very much agree - these elements are really fascinating.
Wonderful, thanks so much!
Would be great to hear more of the Salford organ. Please will you record Manchester cathedral sometime 🙏?
Keep up promoting the pipe organ! Even here in Mallorca the youth are beginning to appreciate what fine music they produce and more learning to play. Just have to free up access from the clutches of possesive parish priests!
Thank you as always, friends!

That newest organ sounds marvelous! It seems like a rather minimalist console, compared to the five-manual monsters with three times as many stops that we see so often.
It 'borrows' ideas from Cavaille-Coll... tastefully done so you can see over the top of it!
Certainly an unusual shape - I was thinking "low profile" rather than minimalist.
I wish you would put some of your music on Amazon.
These church / organ tours are great! Can you publish some concerts on super audio CD (SACD) or DVD? The 32' stops don't survive UA-cam and I would love to hear the recordings in 5.1 surround sound.
Have you heard any Blu-ray audio? Some of them have Dolby Atmos. From Chicago. U.S.A.
...the lights shake at 7:44 when he plays the low tones
I love Lego since I was a child.
Me too and last year on the summer holidays i went to Legoland AND legohouse in Billund and it was GLOIRIOS, WONWER ITS WAS A BLAST
Perhaps more organ and less talking.
I am a fan from Taiwan and expect you can arrange to play BWV1052 thanks.
It is tudour ??
Why did that church burn down?!!!
brilliant ... except at 7:00 perched on the edge of a ledge wayyyy up... errrrkkkk
