Thank you both for the latest instalment of your vlog. I was interested to see the 2 Tideswell organs. The little 1 was incredible, considering how long it had remained unplayed. Well done Jonathan for tweaking it & showing us how beautiful it sounded. So glad you both managed a holiday while you were in San Sebastian!! The cathedral was amazing, such beautiful windows! I was impressed by the way you both managed to play in synch, considering how incredibly far apart you were! The concert looked amazing! Thanks again for sharing the vlog. I can't wait for the next instalment! xx

I really love these tours showing us the cities and of course the organs. Perfect co-ordination from piano to organ, Jonathan and Tom. Beautiful music. You are both showing me things I will never see myself. It fills me with great joy watching these videos. Thank you so much for sharing your journeys and concerts with us. James.

Your videos are full of fun! Debussy's piano music is a mix of lovely and haunting, in a cathedral. I've never heard it like this but I like it! The 126 stops on the organ in Spain is such a wow! Keep making wonderful vlogs please! 😊

    Yet another wonderful vlog giving
us all another opportunity to see churches and organs in other parts of the world and UK that most of us may not have the opportunity to see and hear otherwise. Great performances from both of you, as always, together with Tom’s filming. Thank you both so much for these vlogs. They are always so enjoyable to watch.

I am excited to remember my trip to San Senbastian. I am happy to have been able to witness your concert at the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd. I still wonder how you managed to be able to film 'Carmen Fantasy', you find time where there isn't any. I was also able to visit the Basilica of Nuestra Señora del Coro and I also bathed at La Concha beach...Tom, you should talk to Jonathan so that your holidays last a little longer because in my country they say that 'you always go with the fifth set' (it means that you always go very fast) ha, ha, ha! I am glad that everything went well and above all I was able to greet you!!
    Congrats, it's a nice musical travel vlog!!❤💖🤗😘😘

On the beach! Last time I was in San Sebastian (around 1988, maybe) Spain had been hit by a deadly storm in which several people died. The waves fetch from right the way across the Atlantic and are funnelled into the shoaling waters of the Bay of Biscay. San Sebastian is right in the corner of the Bay of Biscay where Spain Meets France. It produced the biggest waves I've ever seen, smashing onto the coastal sea defences, and sending towers of spray a hundred feet into the air. Two of the bridges were closed and many people from the town came out to watch. Wish I'd known the basilica contained that organ. Amazing music, guys. Love the content 🙂

Thank you for another wonderful vlog they are so entertaining. Would you consider including in future concerts the Shostakovich Piano Concerto No 2 you played 14 years ago as piano and organ duet, the arrangement is so lovely.

You said it best yourselves: exquisite, glorious, impressive - the organs, cathedrals, echo, stained glass, & the beautiful music.
Started laughing as soon as I heard the windshield wiper. So glad you had a brief holiday without bed making. Sounded perfect: trees, bells, pizza, the sea. But how did you know the pigeon was local? 🤔❤❤🎹🎶

I have usually been disappointed with the organs in Spanish cathedrals, on CD recordings, (Salamanca, Toledo, Leon, Cuenca, Avila, and Burgos) because they appear to have plenty of pipes on display, including impressive 'en chamades', but they seem to lack wind. This mighty San Sebastian organ would appear to buck that tendency. Thank you for recording it.

If anything, I enjoy your chatty bits more! _Of course_ you are excellent musicians (I have enjoyed many of your pieces - I think the Liszt HR2 best), but your characters - and how much you _enjoy_ what you're doing - comes over so well.

Certainly a variety of Organs in this vlog ! Nice that you could revive the Tideswell Chamber instrument enough to perform the Bach BMV 926 Jonathan .The San Sebastian cathedral was certainly impressive along of course with your ability to synch during the Concert . Nice sketch of the Basilica and filming from Tom. Good that you managed a holiday too !

I think that Tom looks very cool and trendy in blue denim.
I can't believe that the small organ was not played in 15 years. It is SUPPOSED to be a continuo organ to accompany soloists and the choir.

Hola and good 'tidings' to you both. I'm glad you had a bit of a break, even if you only managed to get your feet wet. Sometimes, one of the bells sounds as if it were made of pot metal, while others ring out joyously. Thank you for the travel vlog. xx

It's a pity you didn't get a chance to play the Cavillé Coll organ Jonathan. But the big organ sounded fantastic. It would be nice to see how you did the registration changes on that instrument without the normal thumb pistons in the key slips and with only about six toe pistons as well. I've been out of organ building for over 40 years now and have not kept up with the technology. Solid state electronics had only recently come in and was still rarely used on rebuilds of small parish church instruments. As for the digital displays on the console of the San Sebastián organ, I just about worked out that the number going up and down were related I think to the settings of the registrations on the "Rollerschwell". Please put me right if I'm not correct Jonothan.
