Now you know what an airbending amateur looks like against a real airbending master. Zaheer was on the run majority of the fight and he didn't even land a single hit until the others stepped in. Tenzin on the other hand, was not only putting actual hits on Zaheer (he did the same move that adult Aang did in the intro!!), but he was holding his own pretty well when it became a 4v1 thing too. Also loved the contrast between how Tenzin moves and how Zaheer moves. Tenzin is literally like a leaf in the wind, fluid and smooth. Zaheer's movement is more sharp and forceful but at the same time, it feels smooth in its own way as well. Overall, this whole episode had me on edge the whole time. Ever since we saw Zaheer kill the Earth Queen, I was worried about other possible deaths. Kai getting blown out of the sky, Bumi and Kya falling like that, and that panning away from Tenzin getting beat on. It was all too much!
I love this ep's fighting sequences too Meesh, they're sooo good! Especially for Kya who's first and foremost a healer and yet she really held her own against Ming Hua!!
You guys have become my favorite reactors. Not only is the reaction and commentary entertaining, but you guys are also very smart and keep up with the story and the emotional aspects of it. Also you upload right on my lunch break. Very convenient.
13:14 technically he held out as long as kya and zaheer did against master benders so it’s impressive 🤷🏽♂️ also the little comment about Zaheer constantly grunting when he’s bending I think is supposed to be a reference to Zuko before he met the dragons
Even though Tenzin won firmly, it’s very impressive that Zaheer somewhat held his own considering he only had a few weeks to practice and did not have any formal training. Goes to show how ridiculously talented the guy is, and how much of a beast Tenzin is.
One of the best episodes in the entire Avatar Universe! It was so intense. And during the time it aired it was killing that we had to wait another week for the finale of this book. Fighting scenes in this book in general is the best of the best. Can't wait for the reaction on the final 2 episodes of this book
i know i wish we got more zuko in these scenes, not sure why they didn't include him but maybe the implication is that zuko is so strong at this point he would just wipe the floor of them.
Hey Avatar Meesh and Avatar Dee! I hope you two day is going well "Happy Friday". Great episode. Bolin fanning out because of Zuko is,hilarious. I like the dialogue between Korra and Iroh as well the one with Korra and Zuko. And Zuko reaction to finding out Iroh is in the spirit world. Seeing someone like Tenzin who's an amazing character get beat down by Zaheer and his gang was hard to watch. As the camera pans away of him getting beaten up. I hope you two have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing.
Gotta give props to Kai's character development; when we meet him he's this selfish theif who was perfectly happy to steal from the people helping him. Here he puts his life on the line for the _chance_ that his fellow airbenders could escape. And Jinora's reaction when he goes down...
This is the only air vs air fight in the entire avatar series!! Tenzin is a natural born airbending master and Zaheer is extremely talent in airbending after studying the culture his whole life.
A healthy balance of comedic, light hearted, serious, & action packed, scenes all in one episode. Straight up the soul of this season was way better than the last one. Here you have villains you want to see taken down, because they actually do things to characters we like. As you said Dee, this season takes aspects of ATLA fans love: Lord Zuko, Uncle Iroh, Asami-wait, I'm being told by my editor Asami wasn't in ATLA; strange, her voice sounds familiar-, & incorporates into the ever expanding world. Can't wait to check back when y'all post the season 3 finally. =^._.^=
Zaheer found his match with Tenzin. We got to see the abilities of a true airbending master here. And Tenzin would have definitely won the fight if it stayed 1v1. Seeing how beat up Tenzin got had me crying when I first saw this episode too. Specially if you consider how Zaheer and his gang don’t seem to have any trouble harming or even killing people to get the job done. Top 5 episode in TLoK for me hands down
"They got lucky ". My friend you have no idea how right you are. In case of riots, blackouts or chaos. It's best to leave during the early hours. In those types of situations they get worse as the days go by.
Aang also would’ve suspected that it possibly could be a trap and not turn himself in or come up with a plan to trick them by turning himself in using their plan against them.
I’m still confused how Zaheer shots wind out of his stick, maybe it’s an energy thing? But gotta admit even though he’s using his powers for bad he’s a damn good airbender
Tenzin vs zaheer just shows the difference in strength between an air master and a martial artist who got airbending.
"Asami is flawless and so perfect"
"Like you"
URG SO CUTE🥰

I love love. Yay!
“Those eyes” - Dee simping for the 183rd time😂😭

I know Aang was watching with pride
Tenzin would've WIPED the floor with Zaheer if his little gang didn't show up to save his ass!
Dee: "Those eyes!!!"
Me: 😏😏😏

Tenzin really could have used Zuko's help battling The Red Lotus in the Northern Air Temple, huh?
i know i wish we got more zuko in these scenes, not sure why they didn't include him but maybe the implication is that zuko is so strong at this point he would just wipe the floor of them.
Zaheer didn't land A SINGLE SHOT on Tenzin in the 1v1, and I would argue he could win the 1v3 if it wasn't for P'li. He lost only to the 1v4
Tenzin vs Zaheer is one of my favorite fights. It shows that Zaheer is strong, but someone who has actually learned how to airbend is still better.
your camera quality looks way better than before, you've been improving
Thank you!! We’ve been slowing upgrading our set up for a better experience for yall 😊🙏🏼
yesss finally!!! Thanks for this
🙂↕️❤️
I love you two!!! but the queen was suffocated, not choked.
p.s. I have ASD, I'm not trying to be mean.
We love you!! No worries at all, we stand corrected 😉❤️
15:46 that’s the same move as you see him do in the intro, never does it again.

Happy Friday, Rob!! 😍🫶🏼
Tenzin would’ve whooped the other 3 if P’Li wasn’t there
Pura vida!
Mas vidaaa!! 🌺

"As long as I'm breathing" is not something you wanna say in front of that man
This is the only air vs air fight in the entire avatar series!! Tenzin is a natural born airbending master and Zaheer is extremely talent in airbending after studying the culture his whole life.
Zaheer is just using air as an extension of his master skills in martial arts.
This is the best episode in the whole series for me. Tenzin was EATING for real.

That blimp is better than a helicopter 😂 like how was it in all the right spots at the precise time
grandma is the most old school asian grandma
"They got lucky ". My friend you have no idea how right you are. In case of riots, blackouts or chaos. It's best to leave during the early hours. In those types of situations they get worse as the days go by.
Katara knows Aang better than anyone or Tenzin. Zuko knows Aang on the policies and diplomacy side the most.
As long as I'm breathing, It's not over. 😢😭 I Love Tenzin
Meesh & Dee Awesome Video Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
Next episode has my favorite fight scenes from both LOK and TLA
Zaheer is lucky he did not have to fight tenzin alone for long or fight korra without poisoning.
Yea season 3 is the best
They almost killed Zukos dragon lmfao!
🤍🤍🤍
Aang also would’ve suspected that it possibly could be a trap and not turn himself in or come up with a plan to trick them by turning himself in using their plan against them.
Stop comparing korra to Aang in vice versa. If she didn’t turn herself in then the air nation would have been destroyed. Your bias is showing
I’m still confused how Zaheer shots wind out of his stick, maybe it’s an energy thing? But gotta admit even though he’s using his powers for bad he’s a damn good airbender
Dee Marry me!
🤍
