- These challenges are fun but also a good time to "challenge" myself to play with techniques I have not tried or gotten comfortable with. For this one it was using scraps and styrene to create some greebles out of nothing.
As usual, I have to thank @FabWorks80 for issuing the challenge. These really do bring the #starwarsbuilders community closer together.

Awsome
Thank you
There was a time when the filming miniatures we watched on the big and small screen were built from junk and model kit parts.
Yes, I remember that time too! And those miniatures looked awesome!
I was blown away 🤯when I saw your entry, absolutely AMAZING!!! 💥💯
Thank you for making these challenges.
Neat looking model and very well done! Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks! It was fun to make.
You’ve got my vote for best of show so far ! Love it
After seeing yours and a couple of others, I feel like I didn't add enough greebles.
@@brokentuskgarage yea no I don’t think so . Less might be better. Plus your exhaust Ports are the best
"I started by 3D modeling a nose for the bottle."
Yeah, I can't do that. Someday I hope to learn the 3D printing thing.
I have been 3d modeling for 25 years and 3d printing for 16 so tend to lean on on it.
THAT is an amazing little piece man!! lol Its kind of funny all the stuff you used, made it look sooo good. Looks great!
Thanks Dave! In the past more than half of what I used would have been tossed in the trash.
@@brokentuskgarage I love garbage builds man. Makes it so much better in my eyes. I love Upcycling things.
Looks great! I honestly love the thrusters! They look very believable and the background you made for it really sells the look too!
Thanks! All the entries were awesome!
And how poor the results would have been without the essential ingredients of originality - skill and imagination.
Thought I would come over to see what you are up to... love it! And of course you have introduced me to another channel too - awesome 😎
Thank you! Love your content. Glad it came across my feed the other day.
Love this!
Thank you!
I like the video, because the process is detailed and the results are amazing
Wow. Thank you!
Looking good man, cool video, it came out great! A couple of possible suggestions for next time might be using fine grade sandpaper on the bottle parts to help the paint stick and drilling holes and using stiff coathangar type wire going right through the bottle sticking out a lil on both sides as anchor points for some of the heavier attachments :P
Thanks! Yeah I realised my sand paper mistake quickly but just kept going and will have to remember the coat hanger tip next time. 👍
nice
Thanks! I think the thrusters sell it.
Cool 😎 love it awesome 👍😎
Thank you!
@@brokentuskgarage your welcome
That was cool to watch. TY.
Thank you for watching!
Great video.
Thank you! It was fun to make and now I want to do more like this.
those wires shouldve been connected series as to not be so dim right? jw, great job on the ship, mate.
You are right. Wiring is something I struggle with and parallel seemed easier at the time. I am working on it as I as more lighting to my projects.
When you were a kid did you create or remodified your toys? 😃
Yessss! Didn't have the tools we do today which would have made it so much easier.
I watch this to feel inspired but also to turn my brain off, which is weird.
Thanks!? 😁😳
@@brokentuskgarage Yw, leaving comments isnt hard work, but it is honest work. 🤠
try priming first
Learned the hard way on that one.
