Very nice! I love it doubly-so as the Y-Wing is my favorite Star Wars ship and a lifetime ago I wasin the Strategic Air command as a maintainer on a ROAM Team for the B52H Stratofortress. This scene takes me back - I wish daily that I could be out there one more time. You have captured that feel. Thank You.
Hello, lovely work here. I'm learning to make stone out of xps foam myself, but what do you use to seal it before painting it? It seems to react poorly to most aerosolized chemicals. Thanks!
My only problem with this is the cockpit ladder should be on the left/port side instead of the right/starboard because of the way the Y-Wing cockpit door opens.
Love it 👍👍 great work. Maybe you could've taken advantage of the clear base and left sections un painted too form landing lights with led's underneath 👍👍
Well done ! like the rebel pilot fishing !
Very beautiful
@@robertoitalosangallidepasq6369 thanks!!
This looks good. And I really like the water effect that you've done. I could see myself using it in certain circumstances.
Thank you!! It turned out pretty decent and was fairly easy to do.
First time I've seen that aluminum foil trick. Love it!
I saw it on Scale Model Geek.

Beautifully done, wow. Very creative
Thanks Oggie! Sorry you can't be at Wonderfest this year but enjoy your trip and time with your family!
Water effect was cool. What was the reason for such a large cut out in the base?
Originally I was going to do more lighting effects and thought I'd need the space.
Just saw this at Wonderfest yesterday. Looks great in person.
Thanks! Stop by and say hi if you see me today!
This is one ofmy favorie SW dioramas that I've seen it really has a cosy feel to it!

Thanks..modge podge is a good sealant to protect the foam, you can mix some acrylic paint to give it color.

Yeah, I'm aware...but it looked better on that side. I didn't plan ahead on that one.
Very nice!!!! So realistic, Congrats!!
Thank you!
