Almost went into withdrawals waiting for another video. Watching your old videos is just not the same.
Watching you and your Dad work together makes me miss my Dad and working together on our row crop farm in CA.
Thanks for taking time to send us your day.

So many people have no idea how hard farmers work. Look at how much was done before the sun came up. I remember my Dad working a full time job, early mornings before the job, afternoons, evenings & weekends working the farm. Farmers are hard working people! Love your vids.

Farmers are hard working people in this country but aren't paid enough for all the chances that they have to take like presale there crops, the amount of hours that they put in daily. Raising there own food for the family. Like Pork, Beef, Chicken and eggs and milking there own cows for milk and cheese. They can't control the weather to have a picture perfect crop. They spend lots of money for machinery to get there crops in on time. And they have to keep there equipment in great shape for harvesting there crops and to get them in on time.

Great video as usual Eric. As I have been about farms my whole life I really appreciate the workload that you and your dad have and the effort that you both put into your very well run farm. I just wish that more non farmers in particular younger school kids were encouraged by the schools to watch content like yours and see what goes into farming and where their food actually comes from rather than thinking its just the superstores! Stay safe and thanks from Scotland.

Great to see you and your family back in action Eric. No - doubt there is allot of hard work involved in all you do and we can see you really care for your cows (aka 'girls'). Hopefully your new arrangement will help with the timing of the feedings and all. You really need to take advantage of every 'little thing' you can when you work this much and hard. Nice seeing your cousin setting you up too while you were unloading his trailer.🐄

18:30 the soft "WooHoo" at the perfect bale roll made me laugh . I guess it's the low ceiling and maybe smaller bales, but Eric looks like a giant at 17:49. I know he's tall, but... That for sure was a productive day. With your super duper gold standard udder prep it probably does not matter but milking the younger animals first might help with SCC. At least in theory as older cow might have a mastitis bug that could transfer at milking time. Free lime is better than a poke in the eye
