Twins not uncommon, same sex very little, chance of heifers very slim. Older brother and I built a all reg. Holstein herd (100+ in milk, all home born and raised from the 3 dad bought in 1946). Had 2 or 3 sets over the years, one set, sold one in our country’s yearly consignment sale as a fresh 4 year old, kept the other. Both of them made 30,000 lb. record’s 3 years in a row.(mid 1980s). That’s not common, usually one turns out good, the other not, common thinking back then. Always great videos. Keep up the good work. 👨🏻🦳 🚜 🐄
This is the time of the year to take care of those maintenance issues. Those donuts looked like the ones on my road, hmm....nah! Thanks for sharing and I hope everyone has a great week.
it may sound dumb, but i would love updates on the twins as they get older! kinda see how a cow moves through the property over the years. kinda unique too since they should both be doing stuff at the same time
When I see your sawdust it gives me a warm feeling. Why you might ask? I have 2 sawdust barrel stove's I use for heating my 28 x 36 workshop. I can rotate the burn and heat 24/7 or fire up both and stay toasty even in Sub-Zero temperatures.
The next time you get tires for your skid loaders I highly recommend Michelin tweels they are like a solid tire but aren't and ride very smooth as long as right weight skid loader is put on them. We have them on are new Holland they ride pretty smooth when we have weight in the front the only reason it doesn't ride smooth with nothing on is because they are one size to big. We got the tires we have from SkyView tractor repair LLC. The nice thing about the tweels are they can't pop off the bead like normal tires and ride smoother then a solid tire.
Seems like just yesterday you were bringing those new tires home for the skid steer... man time flies. I was thinking about how much snow you got with those couple storms last week, not as bad as I would've thought! Well, cheers to another good year 🤙
have you thought of getting a snow plow for the skid loader, get an old blade and a spare folk attachment , cut the folks off an weld brackets to the blade, be easier using the bucket like you did last year. or an old cheap tractor with blade already attached to it.
Great videos! A steel bar would help you with taking the tires on and off, slide it under and use it as a lever. It might not matter now but your back will thank you some day 😆
Huh. I've owned a Bobcat for a few years, but had not figured that if you block up the rear end you could get all four wheels off the ground with the bucket rather than just the front wheels. Genius.
looks like so much fun drifting in the snow. I have a questions about the way you rotated the tires on the kubota, wouldn't it be better to rotate in a figure(left back going to right front etc) 8 instead of swaping front and back. Wouldn't allow more even distribution of wear and tear on the tires.
so thats a neat trick to lift a skid steer and its one thing to do it in an emergency but to put that type of strain on the machine for a routine job isnt good. No reason to risk damage like that just get a jack
If You wanted when You change tires put the left back one on the front right one and the right back one on the left front one like doing a x pattern with the tires
If you’re going to be working on the hydraulics on that skid steer much at all I would highly recommend getting a set of crows foot wrenches they are a lifesaver
Hey you wouldint happen to know of anyplace near chambersburg pa that sells badger silo unloader parts? I know theres alot of good supply stores down that way but nothing around where I live and no luck finding anything yet
It's not always about the work. But when it snows. It's time for some doughnuts...😁😎
We like Cody as supporting actor in the video. Be sure to bring him back again.
And another year ticks over. May this year be more prosperous in good things for all.

Getting some warmer weather here in Wisconsin finally. We were below zero for a while
We do the same as you except we put the blocks between the wheels on the main frame then when you let the bucket down it picks the back wheels up
Can we get a camera angle inside of the trailer next time you haul cows? That would be really cool seeing them balance

Better not let your daddy see you doing that. 😂
Try a Liftmaster 893 MAX remote control for your garage door opener (assuming it is a Liftmaster opener).

Is Cody joining the crew? I bet your dad would then retire? Awesome for him. Us old guys need a break.
Why do you keep the young calfs in separate stalls? It seems like they enjoy being with each other.
