I just picked up a 03 forester, im trying not to turbo it. seeing alot of love in the subaru crowd. Ive always liked the foresters, and the wrx.
Ive heard about the Honda scene is sO much different than us Subies. Especially events like Boxerfest, Subiefest.
I love that he did the STi swap but he should have started with an sg9 body because eff 2009+...!
I literally picked up my '16 sti and got rear ended that same day and the car was totaled.

Smurfinwrx you missed my forester :-( I have the WRB 08 Forester STI. I won Best of Show Forester at Subiefest, Best of Show Forester at Subaru Summer Solstice & Best of Show Forester at Subie Showoff.
I have 2 foresters a daily stg2 '04 xt and a full Sti swap '10 (like the one in the vid) but with xxr 521. I can easily keep up with stock stis with my 04. Sick sleepers.
The '10 STi swap, did it start out as an XT or base? I might consider doing one down the road, but all the XTs near me are automatic.
+jamstar1 It was an automatic. Subaru USA didn't bring any manual sh forester xt's to the US, only n/a manual. I had to get a wrecked '09 sti, made it easy to swap everything. basically plug and play, like the dash, interior, gauge cluster, center console, and drive train all carried over to the forester perfectly. You can sti swap an n/a forester too but it's easier in an XT due to it already having an ej255, no need to look for custom engine mounts or fitting the sti radiator.
Went to 86fest instead of subie fest. Mixed feelings.
