Did no one else notice phantom touch presses with the OpenFit Air? In almost all my runs the double tap (volume up/down) was triggered out of the blue, after 40/50-mins. Got a replacement in and still the same thing happened 😞 Hate these touch controls, wished they sticked with physical buttons like on the OpenRun series.
The openfit air uses exactly the same drivers as the Openfit. The only difference is in the sound quality of the Bass. So if like me you like a bit more bass in your music then you need to go for the Openfit
I have bought both my issue is answering calls. I can tap to answer calls it does not work or have a spot to push to answer. The bud does not work right away wear do I push the bud for it to work. I have missed so many calls. I really like the open fit design I tried both I need to know how to answer a call on this apparatus. Karen M
Those must be the 2.0... I have the earlier ones and the only drawback I have is in the winter when I have to wear a beanie or a pullover face mask, the touch controls are sensitive, do you have this with the new ones
The product I picked from HK in one of the store at Decathlon. 3 Months the product stopped working (Open Fit Air). It won't disconnect from the phone or Mac even after it's inside the charging box. The product is so bad that even though you manually disconnect its still goes and connect to the last known device. The battery drys off ... and left ear bud won't charge and right ear gets charged because some contact issue with magnetic. The product is failure ... and they sell at 60 // 70 or 80% discount. This company uses all 3rd grade chip and usb software made by some cheap company. Please avoid... and save your money.
Thanks for the thorough reviews! Not to criticize but personally would appreciate if you include a female or small (headed) reviewer. Possibly you did but just didn't indicate..
@@chillblue1650 a product that serves thier purpose well is the openrun. This product does not. Its overpriced, fit is awkward and the controls is a mess. Releasing an almost identical product suggests they didn’t hit the mark. The openfit air makes it slightly more competitive with a lower pricing but for these type of headphones, just go elsewhere.
@@MrChannyI’d disagree with fit as that’s subjective to each person. I have a pair and they fit so good I even forget they are on my ears at times. I will agree that the touch feature isn’t as good as apple products but they aren’t gonna fall out or irritate the ear like most others do after wearing them for a long period.
On the air Desing is great and the sound is pretty nice but the call quality becomes annoying when people can’t hear you and have to repeat myself 100 times 😢
I have both and have to agree the air model has the edge. I think it’s a pretty level playing field but price wins out. Great review guys. 😅
Thank you for the early comparison - very helpful!
I'm surprised you didn't compare the microphones! I've had better call quality with the openfit compared to the openfit air.

Thank you for the video. Its really help me to make a decision to buy which model..
I got Open Fit for $120
Sound is pretty good and I set "no EQ"
It's good in work environment
so you means Sound quality is same Battery life same , so the only different is cheaper in price for OpenFit Air and the design ?
That's exactly what I want to know.
Calls sound better in last years openfit.
@@305dadecounty305 What about music and podcasts though?

It looks like the OpenFit Air has a bit of a curve to it. Does that make it fit your ear any better or make the sound project better into you ear?

I’ve read that you can turn off the touch controls on the OpenFit Air.
I have the open fit airs and yes you can turn off touch controls in the shokzs App. Which I did. I do all controls on my Galaxy watch.
Wish I could use in ear buds but they make my ear itch no matter what I use

The thing is openfit has dropped down to 125$… just 5$ more
Where did you see that price? Not the case on their website.
The open fit product series seems so underwhelming in general.
how so?
Elaborate. What more do you want? It seems like these products serve their purpose well.
