A unique collaboration of influential musicians from robust scene.
This time, the Azimut trio worked on the new release "NUN" in
the co-authorship with Oleksa O))), founder of the cult bands
Soom and Prashtur, and the restless Yuriy Dubrovsky, who does
not stop experimenting in Octopus Kraft, nug, Asthme and Zlele.
Geographically, the project stitches Ukraine together, stretching
the thread from Kharkiv, past Drohobych, tying a knot in
Stanislav.
Musically it transports the listener to a strange mythical World,
radiating the ancient truths.
"Myths are collective waking dreams, and waking dreams are
individual myths.
Our release is not quite about songs, but more like parts of one
drama, paintings, triptychs, a kind of oratorio. It's about trying
to come to terms with the eternal human dilemma, a search for
the meaning of existence, an attempt to grasp the
supersensible, a dialogue with God.
This is the story of the Ancestor-Storyteller, this is the voice of
the ancient Fish God, which echoes from the corridors of time
in the dead Phoenician language that gave humanity the
alphabet. This is the word of the Son of Man, from awe and
reverence to despair, self-mutilation, sacrifice in the name of
the unknown. It is the search for Gnosis, both in the outer
world, above, and in the inner world, below."
