Kamen Rider Drive is one of the best, honestly. It's one of the few Kamen Riders that drives a car instead of a motorcycle. Build, W, and Gaim are among my favorites.
@@Sayacalbees87 I haven't seen Saber yet. I'm now mostly caught up with Ultraman. Saber seems more sentai-esque than others, it seems to me. It even has the end credits song and dance routine. Lol
I'm an old Showa guy, but Superhero Taisen GP: Kamen Rider 3-go has a good mix of all eras up to 2015 with the Drive team being central. 1-go and 2-go aren't in it, nor Super-1, but plenty of my boy Minami Koutaro in it. Good watch
Drive was one of those Kamen Riders i skipped but I ended up getting a Mach toy. The white with red racing stripe is just really fun. Still one of my favorite and I loved that era of toys. 100% cool looking action figure. I like finger articulation and those gimmick toys have some great tightness thanks to the knuckles being metal pins.
So happy to see a tiny F91 as I feel the whole Formula series up to Crossbone Vanguard hasn't gotten the love that many other Gundam series have experienced. My Metal Build F91 Chronicle White Version is one of my prized treasures.

I've seen probably half a dozen Kamen Rider series and a few episodes of some Sentai and Ultraman series. For modern Kamen Rider I'd recommend 01. It's kind of a return to form as far as the costumes go and it's a pretty engaging show
"When did Kamen Rider changed from Bug man to all these crazy design?" 2000. Start from Kuuga, the series moved away from the bug motif more and more. Kuuga still has some bug motif, but it also has a heavy ancient civilization theming. If you find the franchise too hard to talk about in 1 go, try splitting it into Showa, Heisei, Neo-Heisei and and currently running Reiwa period.
I'm with you with how gangly Marvel Legends figures looked. I could never get into how they gangly they appeared. DC Universe Classics figures were far less articulated but just LOOKED better. I didn't buy many (just a Superman, Batman and Alan Scott) but I still bought more than the big fat zero ML figures I own.
I feel you on the toe articulation; I have a Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat Kintaro figure that is a struggle to stand up, because of his toe articulation. Anyway, I have a few suggestions for you for a "history of" episode: 1. You've talked about Lanard Toys The Corps for a while, had a few figures pop up in these PO Box unboxing, and it made me think of their weird 12-inch K9 Corps line. I would love to see you do a "History Of" of these lines. 2. I was going to suggest this as an Oddities episode, but since you're integrating those into the main History Of series, I'd like you to check out Dollar Tree's Final Faction toy line. Ashens did a review of the line in two parts, a while back, and it got me interested in it. Seeing you do a History Of episode for it would be cool to see. EDIT: Well, speak of the devil, both The Corps and Final Faction pop up in this episode. You should totally do a History Of episode on both.

(we have one right next door within walking distance so if we're hurting on money it definitely helps in a pinch) and do occasionally browse the toy section just for the heck of it. always surprised at the stuff I see pop up there.
Have that Spider-Man figure at 25:34 somewhere in my boxes. It's a figure by Kaiyodo from their Marvel Ultimate Universe Action Vignette Figure line in 2006. More like an articulated gashapon toy than a model kit. There were 5 figures in the line if I recall correctly; but I only had this one, a Venom, and the Ultimate Universe Green Goblin. I remember it being really photogenic if you put it in the pre-posed stance.
That yellow He-Man is supposed to represent him powering up and is called “Power Attack,” though I think Pixel Dan called him pee-colored He-Man. The GitD one was actually from Super7. I have like a dozen of that line they did in 5.5 before losing the license.

Ah don't feel bad. If it was really a bad box I wouldn't have put it in the video. Many times people just like being part of the show, hearing their name, and seeing if I can identify stuff or if I have a story to tell. It's not about having the best, perfectly mint things that I need for my collection.

Crossover events killed my comic reading as well. I used to grab the occasional TPB but it's been years now for that too.
