YEA!!!!!!!!!!! I have made bread several times, unsuccessfully. My daughter has a sensitivity to eggs so I went in search of an eggless bread recipe and found this one......I was holding my breath hoping all the time spent would yield results that were tolerable.........EXCEEDED EXPECTATIOS TO THE MAX!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for posting this how to. 🙏🍞
Me too. Glad that I am not alone who attempted bread making so many times and yet never succeed. Looking at what u wrote makes me wanna try too this recipe and will update u the outcome

I tried it. My dough didn't raise as much as yours at first but it came out just like yours after it was done baking.
Thank you so much for sharing the recipe i love it❤️
Glad to hear that! To raise the dough, you can put it in a oven with a cup of hot water ☺️
Hi@Vegan Studio. Just thought I would let you know, that after watching your video I was inspired to try and bake this recipe. It worked out great. I doubled the quantities to make two batches.
So very soft. The oil on top makes them look even more beautiful. Thanks for your time and effort uploading this.

Enjoy the fresh bread 🥰
wow thank you so much1!! really appreciate no mixer needed cant afford a big kitchenaid.
When I listen to this music, I'm either on UA-cam learning how to make bread, or on acid in a club.
Will be saving video for the music, oh n bread looks good too!
So good 😋! Made bread for the first time
Tried this and my mom liked it💕
A year later - I still come back to this recipe! I’ve substitute the flour half/ half with wholemeal flour and it turns out wonderful too, many thanks! Love this recipe
also using different oils and brown sugar and some seeds gives some amazing results, my current favorite sesame oil , sugarcane syrup with malt extract and some pumpkin seeds.

I made it today and it was wonderful! My husbas said it was the best bread I ever made!
Super happy to hear that!!! :)
Just wanted to say THANK YOU. I randomly found this video but was exactly what I was trying to make for months now. I needed a recipe with VERY basic ingredients to justify the cost of bread-making. This recipe was the only that achieved the type of bread I like, and on first go! Although it took me 2 hours for the final rise instead of 45 mins haha it was definitely worth it. You just the patience!! ❤❤
I’m glad to hear you liked the recipe!😊 it needs some time but definitely worth it!!
Hi,
How can I make this recipe sweeter? And how can I add vanilla flavor if I want to use Baker’s imitation vanilla, since it is not alcohol based? How many tbsp should I add and do I have to adjust the recipe if I add flavoring?
@joannekeo3769 you probably don't need to adjust anything. Just add 1 tbs of vanilla extract.. ofc if you add too much flour you'll have tougher bread
@@joannekeo3769also just add more sugar.. normal sugar
I stumbled upon your video yesterday and was inspired to make mine,it came out perfect thank you so much though your recipe taught me how to be patient😅 😅.
Haha it takes some time for the perfect bread but enjoy the time ❤️have a good day!
it is worth it😁, I enjoyed the whole process thank you for the recipe ❤.
thank you for the up❤️❤️❤️🙂
My pleasure 😊
Don't mind if I try this one on one of my upcoming tutorials because it's perfect! 💓💓🤗

Wow that's amazing thanks for sharing,New here to support ❤️.
Thank you so much ❤️😊
Lol first attempt i did okay didn’t come out exactly as intended but sure was good 👍 😅
Thank you
Hello! For the better results, you should rise the dough in wet and warm place..!
Put the dough - covered with plastic wrap- in a oven with boiling water 😊 hope it help you
thats the best vegan one iv seen and owe so quick and not to lowd music in the background
I haven't made bread in YEARS, (I guess I got too busy) but I've been vegan now for about 1.5 years and I'm sort of sick of reading the ingredients list on EVERYTHING I buy! So I've decided to slow life down a little and try to live a little more simple and find the time once again to bake bread like I often used to do. I searched vegan bread and this was the first video to pop up. I'm going to try several recipes, but this will be my first to try and I'm so excited about it! I'm a busy Mom of 4 so I'm curious about the time investment in this, but also (probably more importantly) how will my kids LIKE IT??? I'm crossing my fingers and feeling optimistic! If I remember (or have the time) I'll try to report back with how it goes. Thanks for the video!
So I made the bread today and it turned out beautifully!!! My kids also loved it! (Even my 17 year old super carnivore teenage son loved it!) A few things to note: I'm in the USA and I followed the conversion into cups and teaspoons left in about comment, and it was basically spot on except that I needed to add a little extra water because it was so dry that it wouldn't combine. So I agree with the creator of the video that probably weighing out the recipe is best if you're able to work with Metric. But if you're in the USA like me, just add a touch of water a little at a time to get it to the right consistency. Another thing to note is that I actually measured out how much yeast is in one of the tiny packets of fleischman's original yeast and there's actually 2 tsps per packet so that's enough to make two loaves so doubled the recipe right from the beginning (which was perfect because the family just about polished off one loaf in five minutes! I expect the other loaf to be gone in the next hour. Yes.. it really is that good!) And lastly, I put a little Crisco on the top of one of the loaves before baking (super gentle so it doesn't make dents in the dough) and I sprinkled it with sesame seeds and poppy seeds and some pink himalayan salt and OMG.. SO GOOD! A huge thanks to the creator of this video for sharing!
Lovely
very tasty. thanks a lot.
Thank you ☺️
Dough rested more than I have in my entire 25 years of living LOL
Haha
We use cups in the states, I’ll have to convert the measurements. Thanks for the recipe!
I wanted to give you exact recipe hehe! Thanks for your support 😊
I love this! In Denmark we use grams.
So difficult to find a recipe with grams 😊
Where did you go to convert the measurements?
To find the correct US measurements is painstaking to say the least
Omg this music is amazing! Lol.....I'm making the bread now. I'm sure it will be amazing as well. Thank you.
(Liked&subsc) 👏🏽💯
Awesome results, thanks for this recipe. I am never buying store bought bread again. But the bread is too soft and I am unable to slice it correctly, Is there any tip for slicing even piece?
Thanks 😊 try it when the bread is completely cooled !
I’m happy to hear you liked it !
Looks great! Can you give measurements in cups/tspn/tbspn?
Oh I will have to try it soon… I measured all the ingredients to make it perfect.. sorry there
Good luck super recipe 😊
Thank you so much 👍
I made this the other day, it was SCRUMPTIOUS! 😍
I replaced the few grams of water with an egg, it made the bread slightly yellow on the inside. And I added an additional 20g of sugar. 😅
I'm going to make it again. ❤️❤️❤️
Any tips on keeping it moist? Mine went dry after 2 days, because I kept it in a bowl with a lid, but it's not air tight. I may try to keep the next loaf in an air tight container. Thank you for sharing your recipe! 😍😍😍
Edit: made the 2nd loaf, and yes, once it cooled down I kept it in a (more) airtight container. Kept nice and chewy on the 3rd day! ❤️
So happy to hear that you made it perfect 😊 ❤️
This looks like brioche omg I can't believe it
Thank you!! Hope you try it out soon
👍👍❤❤🌹🌹😍😍Je viens de m'abonner .Merciiiii pour ta superbe recette😍👍👍
Dankjewel 🥰🥰🥰
can i use fresh yeast instead of dry yeast? what amount? and any other things to take care of when using fresh yeast?
also i always heard that "salt kills the yeast" and as someone that knows nothing about breadbaking i wonder how you got away with adding salt and still having your bread rise...?
thank you so much i am SO looking forward to baking this bread ❤️❤️
I haven’t try it with fresh yeast yet .. but when you mix sugar with yeast first before salt it would be fine !
I just burst out laughing when I first saw this bread because my bread never comes out like that😅 Great job!
Lovely recipe. Can I replace refined flour with whole wheat flour ?
Sure but the result will be very different
Would this be OK if made in a bread machine? I have arthritis in my hands but would love to make this!
Of course you can make it with a machine! Hope you enjoy 😊
This looks amazing! Would you mind providing the measurements in cups and tablespoons/teaspoons? Thanks!
Hello there!
It’s around
3/4 cup warm water
1 teaspoon yeast
2.5 tablespoons super
1/4 cup olive oil
2+3/4 cup flour
1.5 teaspoon salt
But I recommend you to scale the ingredients for the better results!!
I’d love to hear from you when you made it !
@@theveganstudio5742 thanks so much!!
@@LC91672 no problem 😉
Holy moly 😧🤤
Do you include US/USA measurements for your recipes!? If not, is there any way possible that you could or would please & thank you!?💜
Oh dear sorry
I wanted to show the perfect results so I measured all the ingredients
Hope you can manage it and let me know the outcome!!
Let me try hey but resting time is going to make it long😂
For the perfect bread
Damn this took a whole day lol
Hi there!
Can you suggest a gluten free substitute for the flour?
Thank you
Hello! Honestly I haven’t used it .. but the result would be not the same I guess
Do you have this recipe in cup measurements?
Are there any gluten free substitutes for the flour? Like coconut flour, or something like that.
Sorry I don’t have it and the result will be different
I made this yesterday and it was so good. I want to ask 1 thing today my bread became a little heavy, just a little bit. What can I do to avoid it?
Adjust your wet product or the flour or the temperature in the oven
I really want to give you right advice but there’s so many things to change in baking..
hope you get a good result!!
Can I use Japanese bread flour instead of plain flour? Sugar cane sugar can it replaced by normal castor sugar?
Can I use this exact recipe in the bread maker? If so , which option do I choose? I have just bought the machine today. Never made the bread before in my life
You can make it with the machine of course!! Good luck with making it 😊
Wow😳🤤
Hi. Can i sub instant yeast? If so, will there be any adjustments in the procedure? Tnx
You can use the same amounts of instant yeast 😊hope you get a good result
Could the kneading be done with a stand mixer? My tendonitis would make the kneading really hard 😐 i want to try this recipe though!!
I haven’t tried it with a hand mixer.. but I think the dough needs to be kneaded to make gluten
Let me know when you tried it out !
Thank you for this recipe! I saw a non-vegan version of the shokupan on Instagram and was like oh my God that looks delicious, but yeah, heavy egg, butter and milk use. So glad to have found this alternative. Looking forward to making this in December!
Hope you like it!😊
I added 15 gm of chopped moringa leaves...real vegan indeed.
Hi, I'll be baking this tomorrow. Can I confirm that this bread is made using plain flour? Not all purpose flour or bread flour?
Thanks!
Yes just plain flour is good
Yes you can
What material is your loaf pan, if I may know?
I used stainless steel!
Can I use the airfryer for this? And also bread flour instead of apf?
Sorry not possible for this
Can I add more sweetner to it ,or is the cane sugar mentioned here is sweet enough
It’s sweet enough for me but if you want more you can just a bit more
Can the bread be made without oil? Also, can self raising flour be used to skip the yeast part?
Sorry I don’t think it would be the same result
Please share the baking machine that you used to heat?
Honestly I don’t remember the brand.. it was just a small and regular bread maker 😅
Good 👍❤️
Does anyone know these measurements in cups please
.
I’m excited to bake this bread, I live in London it’s cold and miserable all the time. How do I get the bread to double in size?
Hello 👋 when you rest the dough, put the dough - covered with plastic wrap in the oven with a cup of boiling water !
Hope you get the good results 😊
@@theveganstudio5742 thank you
Instead of cane sugar can we use the normal sugar?
Sure you can
Can I substitute the cane sugar with brown sugar or with condensed milk
The result will be different
Can I use a mixer to knead this? Would you know if it will have the same result?
Yes you can use the mixer! But would it need a little bit of flour like 1 tbsp!😊
That's the question I wanted to ask. Thanks to both of you
Followed everything to the exact point and mind you, I bake bread all the time. I have no clue what happened 😂 it stayed white and mostly in dough form.
I also have no idea.. maybe the yeast was the problem? Let me know if you try it again!😁
Hello, I would love to make this bread! However, I tried converting the measurements from grams to teaspoons/cups. I cannot find a good measurement. Have you come up with the conversion? Thank you so much.
Sorry.. I don’t have cup measurements for it
I should try to find it out but if you use a scale like me, you’d get the perfect result!!☺️
Kindly tell me the name of the instrument used to scrap off the dough from the bowl, once the dough has doubled.
I used my broken silicon spatula haha..
😂
@@theveganstudio5742 hilariously enough i broke my spatula while making this dough 🤦♂️
The grams conversion is really annoying but I’ll try it out
