Such a lifesaver I just got my glasses today and noticed how they just didn’t sit on my nose properly, and would cause indents in the nose making it uncomfortable. They would also slip down a bunch. I noticed my friend (who also has glasses) not needing to push them up every 5 seconds, which made me realize that the glasses don’t fit properly. So this really helped when making them sit better! Thank so much!!!
Yeah just got my new one's, they're Blue Light Filtered too. I can fling my head around and it wouldn't fly off, but it KEEPS SLIDING DOWN MY NOSE... I am getting annoyed and looking at ways to stop this chaos🧘🏻♂️
Like other have said, this one is the best guide to at home adjustment. Two others I looked at never covered the 4 point alignment which is the basic starting point.
Out of all videos and all the searches ive done , you're explanation beats hours of all the searching ive done. Truly truly thankyou for your wisdom. 4 point adjustment worked perfectly for I. Thankyou lots. Angel's among us.
This is the best education video on UA-cam. Thank you. I have one more question. How do I prevent the tension discomfort from nose pads, after adjusting them too stay in place?
Very good, thank you. I have uneven ears, I have always tweak the entire arm including the hinge. Haven't ruined a pair yet but your way is obviously better /safer.
My main problem was not addressed and there may not be a solution. I have a very thin bony bridge. Adjustments do not work. Oversized bridge pads do not work. I have sewn soft rubber cups over the pads, but that does not work. It works better than anything else, but still leaves a large red area that aches. Contact lenses are out of the question for me as my eyes are deep set, and I'm 78 years old and do not want the aggravation. So other than some sort of band over my head holding the glasses off my nose, I don't know what to do. Any ideas? Thanks.
Yes, indeed, I had glasses with such temples, I managed to bend them a little under my ears with the help of a building hair dryer, which I took from my father.
I tried the heat method to bend out the temple tips on my TR60 glasses because they pinch behind my ears, but they didn't budge a mm. Is there some trick to adjusting TR60 frames?
I am sorry to hear your glasses are too big. Are you having a problem with them sliding down your nose/face? If so, our video will help with temple adjustments that can be done to help prevent this from happening. A simple adjustment of the temple arm to fit more curved behind your ear will help prevent them from sliding. However, if the glasses are just overall too big we do offer free returns, and exchanges within 30 days if you would like to return them. Please let us know if you need any further assistance. Have a great day.
I apologize for the delay in replying to your inquiry, and I am sorry to hear of this problem with your nose pads. The nose pads should not be loose. Have you tried tightening them? We can mail you a set of replacement nose pads if you have a small screw driver to insert them with if they are needing to be replaced, or we can have you return the glasses to us to have the nose pads replaced. Please let me know which works best for you, and I would be more than happy to further assist you with this.
Thank you for your inquiry. Are you having an issue with the glasses sliding down your nose, or face? If so, most models have temples that are adjustable to fit more curved behind your ear so they are snug. What is the model you have now, and I can confirm if they are adjustable? I look forward to your reply. We can also be reached at 1-800-238-0904. Thank you,
Don't do this. The only way I was able to bend the temples was getting the plastic so hot it whitened a bit. Unfortunately noticed that too late. Just go to an optician, don't ruin your glasses!!
Thank you for your inquiry. While you are browsing around on UA-cam have a look at this helpful video on how to adjust your glasses: www.readingglasses.com/adjusting-and-positioning/ To save time you can fast forward to 5:57 and see detailed instructions on how to adjust your nose pads. I am an Egyptian optical technician. I can maintain all glasses and of course install them. I can even use a vision detector. I want to travel for work. Is there anyone who can help me?
Hi, what should I do if I feel that the glasses sit too far from my eyes? I just got new glasses and I feel that the lenses should be closer to my eyes. Hope you can help. Thank you.
My glasses are just too big. The glasses I have are adult glasses yet I am 14 and I don't think I have an adult face. When I got mine I knew I wouldn't wear them (I am autistic I hate wearing glasses because they NEVER fit) so I didn't care but now I cant see my own hand in front of my face and I am supposed to not see far away (I forget my long and short sighted) My problem is I can't afford new ones and its covid so I can't go to specsavers I just need any sort of way to get them to sit better on my face.
I was at a vision express store and i picked up myself a pair of sunglasses. So, i got 62mm lenses because 58s look like i stole glasses from a child on me. I didnt realise this while trying them on, but when i look down, they slip. When i walk, they shake.. and its not a very minor amount of movement, its significant enough to make me feel dizzy and i nearly fell once lol.. truth be told, i would have picked up cheaper glasses and more comfy ones, but i was presented with the opportunity of getting a better pair for cheaper and there was only three sizes, the biggest being the best. So i obviously dont want to bend them, is there any sort of temple modifications that make the glasses more snug? I dont want to damage my glasses, and i might even consider a neck string or smthfor them

Thanks. Less slip, even before your demonstration finished. Much appreciated.

This is the best education video on UA-cam. Thank you.
I have one more question. How do I prevent the tension discomfort from nose pads, after adjusting them too stay in place?
I just got my new glasses and it’s too tight. I didn’t notice when trying them on.
Very good, thank you. I have uneven ears, I have always tweak the entire arm including the hinge. Haven't ruined a pair yet but your way is obviously better /safer.

How can you fix plastic frames that pinch your nose?
Thank you! Your video really helpful. God bless!
🤓😍🤗
#Filipinonose 😅
You're a life saver
amazing 😍😍thank you
I bent mine and the rigid plastic covering the arms broke!
Thank youuuuu
How about frames that made of solid plastic? How can you adjust it to keep it out of falling?
Most temples are adjustable, but not all are. If the frame does not have a wire core temple the temple will not be adjustable unfortunately.
Yes, indeed, I had glasses with such temples, I managed to bend them a little under my ears with the help of a building hair dryer, which I took from my father.
Use hairdryer or hot water then bend the temples
Thank you mam I was struggling with the losses glass for years... Now they fit really good
My pleasure 😊

Tysm! I was so annoyed when my glasses kept on slipping down but now the problem is gone!
dope
She's hot.
A lot of unnecessary chatter! Get to the point!
Never do this without first heating your frames in a hot bath.
Thank you
