omg ... i just discovered runrig a few weeks ago & am sooooo hooked ... but this song... i just found it yesterday ... every time i play it (which i do, over and over) i can every cell in my body being swamped with emotion. i think it's the most beautiful song i've ever heard. tapadh leibh, celtman!
This track is awesome. And the photo, shows the spot where the Capture the Heart ep “Stakes” photo was taken. I went there in the early nineties and recreated the photo. I went back there a few months ago but no stakes now 😄
Someone asked whether this was available on a CD: The only place I can find it is on the "Access all Areas volume 4", which was only available to Fan club members. There were 7 CD's and 2 DVDs in the Access all Areas collection. They occasionally appear for sale but often over £100 each.
ye"re so right love runrig and me beloved scotland kind regards from the german capital berlin to all scots alba gu brath your most faithful tartan army supporter hanne
BLIMEY! I've been a Runrig fan for 21 years this year, and I've never heard this song. Its quite "Worksong" in its style and production, anyone know what year this was recorded ? (Worksong was 1986 if I remember rightly)
The first line "There's thunderclouds round the home town bay" was also used as the opening line for the song Hearts Of Olden Glory. The second line " I go walking in the rain" is very similar to that used in "Hearts" where they sing "as i walk out in the rain"

@santiano42
Thx for your hospitality. I love it here & I'm never leaving :D
I think they have recycled the first line! I'm not overly keen on this song. Celtman, where do you find all these songs? AAA?
