The video version is an edit of the Original Mix - Track 13 on the 1991 release of Northern Soul. Track 1 on Northern Soul 1991 was the M People Mix, which was edited for the 1991 single release and backed the Cuba Mix and the Oakenfold/Osborne (Perfecto?) Mix. When Northern Soul was re-released in 1992 - both versions of Colour My Life were replaced by Part One and Part Two that had featured on the Colour My Life EP. Strange that they would use an edit of the Original Mix for the video, since it never appeared on either of the singles and only as track 13 on the 1991 album. Personally I think it's the best version of the song :)
