Seems to me like the UA Barrier is a big mouse maze trap for students/teachers. Mirroring what a mouse maze for mice would be. With all the tunneling and “no escape routes”. This is Nezu way of getting revenge on the humans for his past.
I support this theory. And heres some more proof to the question "Why not attack Deku the second he got the quirk?": It could be beacuse the previous holders of OFA didn't get the extra quirks. Beacuse of the theory that younger generations have stronger quirk, AFO and the doctor made Nezu super inteligent and didn't take the quirk to make UA, wait for All Might to choose a successor, than wait for said successor to awake the other quirks for that extra power and than steal them. Even if that plan failed, Nezu would have a huge amount of other students who have powerful quirks like Bakugo, Todoroki, Mirio and others. And we know that, THAT was exacly thier backup plan beacuse of Shirakumo and Aizawa. In the villian attack when Shirakumo died, Aizawa was probably the one targeted. Thier plan could be to get an erasure quirk, erase All Might quirk, defeat him and steal OFA. But since it was Shirakumo who died, they just took what they could. So they have a history of picking schools with useful quirks and waiting until a student gets hurt. They did that with Bakugo! What im saying is, thier plan A is to wait for kids with powerful quirks to eighter be scared of themselves or train other parts of them but get hurt in the procces, and if plan A fails, plan B is to find "support" quirks, kill off the user of said quirk, and turn them into a Nomu. With a super inteligent, millionare, principal of a top school on thier side, it's not that hard.
Nezu isn't the traitor since he is monologuing about the traitor. If he was the traitor, he wouldn't monologue about it. And I doubt he got given a double life. He's to smart to notice he was living a double life.
So we all know Aoyama is the traitor now, but this was a really cool theory though. I’ve just rewatched the first few seasons and looking back Aoyama is very suspicious. His location was even unknown at the USJ attack. Such great writing.
Completely perfect. I truly hope this is how the traitor is played out. It would be so heart wrenching in the way that you explained he’s a hero at heart.
In regards to Nezu’s intuition on Shigaraki’s quirk awakening, I like to turn the attention to how he was able to pay for the UA Barrier in the first place. Endeavor explains to the kids that Nezu “has made an incredible contribution to the education and development of quirks. So much so that he’s recognized worldwide.” If he was the principal of UA even back when All Might and Endeavor were in UA then he would’ve definitely seen Tenko’s catastrophic damage on the news and be smart enough to realize that the Decay quirk would be a problem in the future if not properly developed. And after putting the USJ attack together with Tenko’s quirk awakening, he immediately got to work on the UA Barrier.
Great video but nezu is the definition of SUS I really wanna see all for one again in the next few chapters see if nezu is the traitor and see all for one try to be break deku more
Been saying Nezu is the traitor for a while now. I see him as a manguunine candidate. He doesn't know he's betraying everyone to explain his thought bubbles.
This was a really good theory and I can see how Nezu would be the traitor, if the traitor wasn't (Blank because spoilers) I could see the traitor being Nezu
I think the doubt on Nezu knowing Shigariki's "awakening" is just a reach. 1. Even he's not on the battlefield after the war heroes will report it to him. 2. He is rich and smart which he can access any form of data he needs. 3. 5:42 Saying you don't have the evidence to be the traitor can be also translated to "I don't want to be defensive because I don't have anything to be defend." Its like grade 3 math when a kid says multiplication is hard and you know its just complicated addition. And if he really want to he already eliminated and contain everyone on a Tube when they are asleep.
The principal being the villain is too obvious. It just feels way too risky for Afo to have his molemouse as the head of the most prestigious hero school in Japan. It seems like it would be common knowledge to any and every student/staff member past or present would know about the secrecy of training locations. Word would travel pretty fast to the public and the police/heroes if there was even the slightest fishiness. Distrust of the staff would be a HUGE blow to the secrecy of this plan. With people like Sit Night Eye?? Being in such close connection to the school of U.A. after his graduation and we’ll into his professional career you mean he didn’t ONCE think: “hmm there was that weird thing I noticed in this prediction of something involving Nezu. Maybe I should talk with All Might about this.” I don’t deny Nezu has a history with AFO but I think it is like a Winter Soldier situation. Nezu WAS brainwashed but was able to escape and build a new life but a student trained and groomed by AFO could be given the code words to control Nezu to divulge info that would then lead to the ambushes. And just like with the Winter Soldier his memory can be wiped. AFO has been using shigaraki since he was a child, which means he could do that again but with a different purpose. Infiltrate the school that his “wayward pet” is in charge of to fish out the successor of One for All.
If Nezu was there for so long, why did he only just now start betraying the Heroes? I feel like a lot of weird things would have to line up for this to be legit. Not that I don’t think it’s possible. It just leaves a lot of questions in my head. Why only attack UA Class 1 students? Coincidence? Why start as soon as Deku got All For One, OFA had no clue that All Might passed it along until they fought.
Tbf the reason he started acting now could be because All Might started teaching at the school at that time, so it would be much easier to set up a trap for him. In terms of why attacking specifically class A it's probably just a coincidence that they just so happened to have a class with All Might at that time at USJ, while the training camp was specifically to kidnap Bakugo
It could be beacuse the previous holders of OFA didn't get the extra quirks. Nezu isn't the traitor since he is monologuing about the traitor. If he was, he wouldn't monologue about it. This also appears in the anime, so its not a plotpoint that got changed either.

can i have a question but i dint now that nezu was a ua tartare the howl time : all might i want for give you : deku me to and the hole ua all off us wont forgive you
Nezu essentially saved Allmight's life, during the USJ attack. By delaying him, Nezu gave Allmight the time to recover he would need to actually beat the nomu. Without that little tea-break he wouldn't have had the stamina to perform his rescue.
i feel like he can sell quirks because he can store quirks on chips and he can sell for like thousands of dollars depending on the quirk and really powerful will be like one milloin dollars
i dont see how nezu cant be a sleeper agent there is enough circumstantial evidence to support this but we dont now enough of his backstory just that he's a filthy rich hyper inteliget lab rat :v he could have a personality disorder but that wasnt really explored just that he tolerates humans but doesnt fancy them as a result of all the trauma caused by the experiments
Hey! I've seen the 2nd generation of BNHA theory, and it's pure entertainment GOLD!!! Can you tell in the next video about Seki Todoroki and his older siblings??? PLEASE!!🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥❄️❄️❄️💸💸💸 If you don't remember: Seki's old brother is a third grade student at UA and his old sister works as a pro hero at their father's agency.
I think this theory is 80% true, I don’t think he’s the traitor, simply because the only point of evidence towards that possibility is his position in power and the prior mentioned possibilities of being connected to all for one, which I do believe is true, and his semi suspicious behavior which is really only how he knew about shigarakis awakening, which I do think is because of his potential connections to all for one but not because of he’s the traitor, I think what was more likely is that he escaped the doctors lab and continued to live on hero society gaining much popularity and prowess in the community that all for one couldn’t just hire some hit men and take him out. I think it’d be more advantageous for his character to use his connections to the doctor and all for one to be used in a positive light, allowing him to gain an upper hand on the villians, if only a small one, as a negative light forcing him to go through a debatably forced or rushed redemption arc, when he doesn’t need one, we already know he’s a character but having him earn the forgiveness and trust of the students would seem kinda counterproductive thing to write when students just fought so hard to convince the citizens to let deku back into the school, either way tho I think the reveal will be through a confrontation of him and all for one or the doctor in a sort of last stand sort of scenario.
I always think back to when he was hounding all might about taking a rest while the villains were attacking UA. Granted All might did need rest but the timing of it! If Ida hadn’t gotten past Kurogiri we’d have a whole different story lol
Rahhh… nah he knew about shigaraki plans dats why he made the barriers, it doesn’t make sense to make a whole lockdown for someone if at the time you can’t acknowledge their true potential tbh, if he was simply juss being intelligent making the lockdown, why didn’t he not make the barriers to be effective against all league of villains? why was the intent on shigaraki? Why not on all the league of villains? It’s dumb to aniticipate shigaraki to be the only one who gets an insane upgrade even tho he’s arguably the most deadly, his quirk is short ranged unlike dabi so dabi is more of a threat… this is why I think he knew about AFO and shigaraki but had to keep quiet
Gee… gonna be honest the aoyama theory has more ground and isnt along the same line of show breaking theory like nezu. Remind me of the kids whod come to school and tell you angelica from rugrats was a schizophrenic and never had babies to play with..
Is it possible that a part of one for all is in nezu and nezu doesn't know like brain control like shinzo quirk. Cause we know part of one for all was in shigaraki
I really think Nezu was just experimented on by the doctor and isn’t being mind controlled as UA has a max of 40 a year hero seats so other promising quirks that do badly for one reason or another then they’d lose a valuable quirk so it’d be better to have like 6 diffrent hero course classes at least but more would be far more intelligent but if Nezu just wanted to make a force that could stop AFO limited spaces makes more sense also he was probably an earlier experience due to his weakness so kind control is even less likely
This video has been made since 5 months ago, what do you expect? I mean, at that time the manga itself hasn't go through Deku came back to UA Chapter yet, why expect such thing? Remember, It just a 'theory' not a 100% confirmed.
That is the problem of the theory, you mentioned how Nezu is extremely intelligent and how in some way if he was manipulated like Gigantomachia I think Nezu would have both figured it out, both started exploiting it, both managed to use it against the villain playing triple game... Sooo yeah if he was the Traitor in a Gigantomachia manipulated way, he probably would have known and use it at their favor as well.
Ayo I hope aoyama gets a demon arc.. low key want him to have a bad ass phase where he just removes his belt and be comes too strong. like imagine aoyama covered in lasers but can only hold it for like a couple seconds. MANHATTAN AYOAMA??!?!
Guys hear me out- What if the doctor that told Deku and his mom that Deku was quirkles lied? What if Deku's original quirk was so different or unique that The Doctor didn't want to tell them about it. And as we know The Doctor is now with the Villain's. And because the quirk is so unique it take's so long to show up or maybe it need's something to show up. But yea this is just some theory of mine :)
Perhaps it could be like an ‘inheritance’ quirk that needed unlocking, which is how he got the bonus quirks from the OFA heroes who he ‘inherited’ the abilities from. I don’t think All might new about them before(could be wrong)
Nezu does not work as the traitor. If Nezu were the traitor, Deku & All Might would have died as soon as the kids entered the dorms, and Nezu wouldn’t have monologued to Himself about not knowing if any of the kids are traitors once they’re all moved into dorms. If Nezu was the traitor, then the villains would have already won, hands down, easily. I appreciate the point you’re trying to make here, but Nezu being the traitor is a massive gas lighting.
Fun fact: the professor actually had a grandchild, the winged one of bakugos friends when he was younger. The professor actually conducted experiments on him turning him into a winged nomu.
At first it seemed like Nezu helped All Might by making him late so the Villians original plan to ambush and kill All Might failed. After All Might beat the villians (even though he would have almost died if the heroes didn’t get alerted by Iida) it seemed like Nezu was front and center to clean up shop and act like he was tightening security for U.A. But then looking back the theory that Nezu was trying to by time so All Might COULDN’T show up to USJ doesn’t really add up. When you say it out loud it doesn’t make sense. Why wouldn’t Shigaraki and Nezu be on the same page? If All-for-One is behind everything then he is really playing 5D chess.
Been hearing a lot about this theory. I’d be really upset with this theory coming true, solely because I feel like UA and the hero association in general is so deep, dark, and intelligent in their own rights (as entities). You’re telling me Nezu slipped through EVERY crack, nobody looked into his history, nobody found any abnormalities, and they gave such an important role as principal of UA to someone they wouldn’t check into and trust 100%? I’m in the boat that the traitor thing was just talk and the storyline has been dropped. The ONLY way I could see this working, is if Nezu is similar to Number 6 from Vigilantes, in the way he created his own mind and self image after being created. But even then, Nezu and Number 6 are vastly different, Number 6 has shown to be able to blend into society, but he was eventually figured out by the cop that All Might is buddies with. You think him, or even Nighteye prior to the story even taking place, wouldn’t have known about Nezu in some aspect?? Sounds far fetched, and if so, exactly why I’ll despise that storyline.
Gotta say my belief in this theory is close to “Dabi is Toya todoroki” levels 😂 let me know what you guys think down below!

Tyler
So we all know Aoyama is the traitor now, but this was a really cool theory though. I’ve just rewatched the first few seasons and looking back Aoyama is very suspicious. His location was even unknown at the USJ attack. Such great writing.
Completely perfect. I truly hope this is how the traitor is played out. It would be so heart wrenching in the way that you explained he’s a hero at heart.
Wow, I might be seriously missing out for not reading Vigilantes, this gives context to so much in the show. Time to get caught up with Vigilantes
Bro I am so glad you are on board with me at last!!! Texas Smash shout out?;)
Keep it up on your work and this channel
So…….about the traitor…..
I found your channel when you had less than 100k subscriber's, but totally forgot about you. Glad to see you are the exact same as I remember.
Great video but nezu is the definition of SUS I really wanna see all for one again in the next few chapters see if nezu is the traitor and see all for one try to be break deku more
baby nezu in the thumbnail is so cute
Been saying Nezu is the traitor for a while now. I see him as a manguunine candidate. He doesn't know he's betraying everyone to explain his thought bubbles.
This was a really good theory and I can see how Nezu would be the traitor, if the traitor wasn't (Blank because spoilers) I could see the traitor being Nezu
I think the doubt on Nezu knowing Shigariki's "awakening" is just a reach.
1. Even he's not on the battlefield after the war heroes will report it to him.
2. He is rich and smart which he can access any form of data he needs.
3. 5:42 Saying you don't have the evidence to be the traitor can be also translated to "I don't want to be defensive because I don't have anything to be defend."
Its like grade 3 math when a kid says multiplication is hard and you know its just complicated addition.
Maybe I should talk with All Might about this.”
I don’t deny Nezu has a history with AFO but I think it is like a Winter Soldier situation.
He is so intelligent he could set it up to bring down the villain's instead of a traitor he did all this to wipe out the villain's?
If he was, he wouldn't monologue about it. This also appears in the anime, so its not a plotpoint that got changed either.
dont you feel,,, silly? dont you feel,, stupid? dont you feel,, a little ashamed?
imagine if nezu was a villain plotting to kill humans
*THAT WILL HAPPEN* a villain with an intelligence quirk and its nezu who has the best intelligence quirk
that cat is a direct refrence to my neighbor totoro..or a nice coincidence XD
It is possible that the original owner of Nesus' quirk is sending messages to the villains
I ❤️ this channel
can i have a question but i dint now that nezu was a ua tartare the howl time
: all might i want for give you : deku me to and the hole ua all off us wont forgive you
Nice video
I just noticed that nezu and deku have the same shoes with different colour
Love 💞 yourself first and most
Not to mention he stalled all might, as the ua students were being attacked.
imagine having a villan attack and you see one thats the first animal to get a quirk.
Because Panda... is not a panda!
I would love for you to make black clover content especially talking about different types of magic
The 1k like is so satisfied
Wait then why did he suggest the was a ua traitor?
Nezu essentially saved Allmight's life, during the USJ attack.
By delaying him, Nezu gave Allmight the time to recover he would need to actually beat the nomu.
Without that little tea-break he wouldn't have had the stamina to perform his rescue.
Don't give up and never give in
i feel like he can sell quirks because he can store quirks on chips and he can sell for like thousands of dollars depending on the quirk and really powerful will be like one milloin dollars
Nezu the Nomu
I should have known garaki would have had something to do with nezu’s dark past
A little question 😊 why nezu has a scar on his face ?
Believe in yourself 🙏💪
i dont see how nezu cant be a sleeper agent there is enough circumstantial evidence to support this but we dont now enough of his backstory just that he's a filthy rich hyper inteliget lab rat :v
he could have a personality disorder but that wasnt really explored just that he tolerates humans but doesnt fancy them as a result of all the trauma caused by the experiments
Hey! I've seen the 2nd generation of BNHA theory, and it's pure entertainment GOLD!!!
Can you tell in the next video about Seki Todoroki and his older siblings??? PLEASE!!🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥❄️❄️❄️💸💸💸
If you don't remember: Seki's old brother is a third grade student at UA and his old sister works as a pro hero at their father's agency.
I ❤️ this video
This aged very finely....
Take control of own destiny
well the newest chapter tells us who it really is
When I saw the thumbnail I thought this was a chapter spoiler thing, and boy was I gonna have some strong words if you had just spoiled the ua traitor
I always thought Nezu was experimented on _because_ he had a Quirk; not that experiments _gave_ him a Quirk...
Also, the baby Nezu is so cute!❤❤❤
I always think back to when he was hounding all might about taking a rest while the villains were attacking UA. Granted All might did need rest but the timing of it! If Ida hadn’t gotten past Kurogiri we’d have a whole different story lol
Sheesh I love this show
Rahhh… nah he knew about shigaraki plans dats why he made the barriers, it doesn’t make sense to make a whole lockdown for someone if at the time you can’t acknowledge their true potential tbh, if he was simply juss being intelligent making the lockdown, why didn’t he not make the barriers to be effective against all league of villains? why was the intent on shigaraki? Why not on all the league of villains? It’s dumb to aniticipate shigaraki to be the only one who gets an insane upgrade even tho he’s arguably the most deadly, his quirk is short ranged unlike dabi so dabi is more of a threat… this is why I think he knew about AFO and shigaraki but had to keep quiet
He could be a double agent too. I feel like that's a more plausible than him living two lives
All these mice and I’m here feeding them to my snake
Gee… gonna be honest the aoyama theory has more ground and isnt along the same line of show breaking theory like nezu.
Remind me of the kids whod come to school and tell you angelica from rugrats was a schizophrenic and never had babies to play with..
Is it possible that a part of one for all is in nezu and nezu doesn't know like brain control like shinzo quirk. Cause we know part of one for all was in shigaraki
That would be an interesting concept
Is Overhaul coming back? Plz can he they nerfed him so bad dude lost his arms and was chill about it.
It does make sense for him to be the UA trader
And he has the same shoes that the doctors mini noumus wear 😂
Wasn't it revealed that twinkling kid was it
This video has been made since 5 months ago, what do you expect? I mean, at that time the manga itself hasn't go through Deku came back to UA Chapter yet, why expect such thing?
Remember, It just a 'theory' not a 100% confirmed.
Quitters never win and winners never quit
Anyone curious about the vestiges in Gigantomachia's head?
If Nezu is a traitor he’s betraying Garaki.
Also Destro and Garaki had nothing to do with one another so I don’t see any correlation there
That is the problem of the theory, you mentioned how Nezu is extremely intelligent and how in some way if he was manipulated like Gigantomachia I think Nezu would have both figured it out, both started exploiting it, both managed to use it against the villain playing triple game... Sooo yeah if he was the Traitor in a Gigantomachia manipulated way, he probably would have known and use it at their favor as well.
Haha this video did not age well 😂
i had this theory for a while
I believe this!
Ayo I hope aoyama gets a demon arc.. low key want him to have a bad ass phase where he just removes his belt and be comes too strong. like imagine aoyama covered in lasers but can only hold it for like a couple seconds. MANHATTAN AYOAMA??!?!
Guys hear me out-
What if the doctor that told Deku and his mom that Deku was quirkles lied?
This video aged like milk 💀
Fun fact: the professor actually had a grandchild, the winged one of bakugos friends when he was younger. The professor actually conducted experiments on him turning him into a winged nomu.
Oh shit
MHA predicting the corona pandemic
I doubt he the traitor every quirk has a
Awaked quirk but I think we going to be surprised as to who it is
Animals run on instinct
Hang on to your dreams
He never fight?
This theory is sooo factual but obviously we need proof 😅
Ignore those who try to discourage you
what if...?
3:53 cursed ship
This is not even a ship in there...
