- I explain how ADULT Bakugo was the SECOND user of One For All and the strong evidence signalling that this is the case. Bakugo’s silhouette could be seen among the previous holders of OFA and there is a reason for this that connects many plot points we’ve seen in My Hero Academia so far.
Today we’ll examine this theory and see how it ties in with Eri, Shigaraki and the quirk-enhancing drug known as TRIGGER (introduced in season 4 of the anime). We also look at the manga in detail, so SPOILER WARNING for anyone who only watches the anime!

Hey guys, after you’ve watched the video, let me know if you believe Bakugo is the second user of One For All. Make sure you watch it the *whole way*, as everything ties in together!
From what we’ve seen, I think Horikoshi is definitely hinting at this being the case, the only real question (for me) is HOW. If things pan out like my theory suggested, it will be absolutely epic, but would rely on Eri mastering her quirk. I explain at the end of the video (during the twitter questions segment) why exactly her Rewind quirk can be applied in the way I suggest - when she’s older.
Whether this theory pans out or not, it was super fun to think of it and the reaction on twitter was great! Just remember that I’m not 100% saying this WILL happen…but it could 👀

ACTUALLY though it's kinda the opposite. If Bakugo was a previous user then Midoriya will end up with Bakugo's quirk eventually, but a more POWERFUL version of it becuse of One for All. Bakugo will be pissed if this is true.

So basically, with Eri’s help, Deku is literally a one for all quirk factory, bam gives it to one of his friends than rewound to the time before he loses it, and just keeps repeating the process

Well yes but I think he would give the quirk to All Might which would make All Might more powerful than he was in his prime. But I don`t know if it is possible to there be two OFA users with same(?) amount of power and for past OFA user to be there n for both user even when they would be and different sides of Japan or the world. But I think it would be possible since OFA doesn`t make sense itself. It actually makes sense but for people in MHA I don`t think so. We know the story and we also know more than the characters in MHA.

This sounds like a good spin-off/alternate ending but I'd never want this to actually happen.
Absolutely agree. People want it to happen because it seems cool at first but then we would end up with a mess of a series where problems can be solved with convenient macguffins. Also trying to put time travel where it is not needed (and it is not needed in MHA) makes it easy for a writer to write himself into a corner.

Also, Eri's quirk can only *REWIND* and not time travel, she can't change the timeline and she can only rewind it and not change it
Also, this is "Deku's Story", if ur theory came true then Midoriya would blame himself for being incomplete or disability to save and ended up depressed and thus we won't tell the story anymore. And it will surely replace Deku as an MC because he played the major role as MIDORIYA'S SAVIOR (or anything close to that), and this will turn up being Bakugo as number "1" HERO
And Midoriya himself wouldn't tell anyone that he's the NUMBER 1 hero (cuz yknow Midoriya wouldn't lie against his buddy Bakugo)

@@groobells It depends, if she has to touch whatever she is going to rewind (even if the end result makes it so she isn't touching them) then it would make sense that she couldn't rewind Shigaraki because he can decay anything he touches now even without using his hands.

Time travel in narrative always sucks I really hope MHA doesn’t go that route and the reason why is because in logic and reason time is always linear

It's interesting but I think it's a little too much. This also relies too much on Eri. Also if Bakugo was the 2nd user then why didn't All for One recognize him? Hadn't he fought like all of the previous OFA users they would exist in the same time period? Not to mention that with Bakugo's personality it would be hard to believe that no one remembers a hero like him.
You can think that OFA is a stockpilling quirk. Some previous users said that it's get much bigger everytime it transfers. So, the second user could go unnoticed as a OFA user, making AFO not knowing about his whereabouts.
Anyway, I don't think that this theory is right, but It's kinda cool to imagine.

Two and Three won't show their faces to Midoriya, and there's certainly going to be a reason for that, but time travel just doesn't seem it. Some sort of ancestral connection to people Midoriya knows seems more likely, revelations they for whatever reason don't want Deku to know about yet.
A lot of people are saying that the 3rd user of one for all is Kirishima but I think it's pretty obvious that it's actually Shikamaru from Naruto and Horikoshi is going to reveal that it was one big Naruto fan fiction all along.

Yeah but the thing is she would have to keep the person she’s sending back in time the same age for it to work properly while also rewinding the rest of the world. That would kill everyone except for the person she was sending back in time. And I’m pretty sure she can’t reverse the effects of Rewind, so if she were to send someone back in time she couldn’t bring them back and they would live their life in that time period.

Nobody seems to be talking about this, but during Deku’s rematch with Bakugo, when he switched back from his shoot style & punched Bakugo, Deku began narrating what was going on, about how he always connected “victory” to an image of Bakugo.
But the WAY he’s narrating this...it’s CLEARLY being said towards Bakugo...sounding as a type of eulogy...as if for some reason Bakugo was no longer around...and Deku was paying homage to him...this theory would explain WHY that is!

I've been thinking the same thing. At the start he refers to Bakugoat as "you" which makes it sound like he died and didn't get a chance to see deku become the greatest hero.

Maybe Bakugo’s costume really is based off a hero at that time. Think about it. Yes he speaks about how he idles all might but he never told Deku how he feels about him and why he didn’t like him. There's only so much creativity you can do before you happen to stumble apon a similar design. Good theory, but I still hate time travel tropes. Their so overused.
And BNHA is very good at making tropes interesting, or breaking tropes. If this theory is some what true and time travel is used, it won't be how we expect it to be and if it is, then the writing of the arc will hopefully be exceptional to make up for that trope. Overused does not mean bad.

16:48, the issue with this is that the point of the quirk is that its rewinding a body, not time travel, time traveling and rewinding a person's body is different because rewinding a person's body moves time through a person's body. Time traveling moves their body through time. Also implementing time travel in a series that has never done time travel as a focus can be really messy .

The 3 problems I have with this theory are:
1: the sillouette seems similar only because of the arm, there are plenty of characters that have similar hair and there can be lots and LOTS of reasons that the arm attachment looks similar to Bakugou. Besides that, considering quirks grow in power over time, Bakugou's quirk should be incredibly powerful compared to any other person existing in that time, making him one of the strongest people in that time. Since All For One and the shining baby are both well known characters in history, the strongest people of those age should also have been documented at least decently.
2: While timeloops can exist, there is 1 major plothole that makes this theory impossible. Timeloops are moments of time where not a single character has free will as everything is predetermined. If anything changes in the timeloop, the timeloop cant exist. Normally this isnt a problem, but we do have a problem: Nighteye's future sight quirk. If the timeloop exists, Nighteye would never be wrong. Which means that Deku should have died a horrible death while fighting Overhaul. But Deku didnt, proving Nighteye's quirk can be influenced. But that doesnt make sense if the timeloop exists, because Deku would always defeat Overhaul if the timeloop exists. So if the timeloop exists, Nighteye can never be wrong. If Nighteye is wrong, then the timeloop cannot exist. We've already been shown that Deku and Eri's quirks combined changed the future that Nighteye saw. Meaning that if there is a timeloop, we have a massive plothole.
3: We dont know the full extent to quirk development. All For One "accidentally" found out he can move quirks from person A to person B. How can you accidentally find that out when you have to select the quirk you want to transfer? Besides that, we do know that All For One cannot take the quirks of the One For All user away. Perhaps the inability to do so made the first user ponder on if there was a way to distribute his quirk in a different way to as many people as possible, to stop his brother from stealing quirks. It was already known that quirks are genetic, and the only other way known was through All For One. So there really were 2 options: either he could give it to someone else the same way his brother did, or someone had to take his genetics(which he obviously would be willing to give, considering he wanted to stop his brother's rampage). Afterwards, All For One obviously could have been notified of this and tried to take the quirk by force from the second user by ingesting it, giving the second user the information that it has to be given willingly.
There is a fully natural explanation as to how it came to be known that One For All can only be given to 1 person, has to be given willingly and through giving something containing the previous user's DNA.

'All for one and one for all' is a saying.
Everyone helps one person, then when that one person is ok he helps everyone else help one other person ...and so on. If you look back 'all for one' helps his brother. That's how 'one for all' is created.
They say 'one for all' is to destroy 'all for one' but the two are meant to support each other.
I think that's the end game of the show 'all for one' is the reason everyone gets quirks in the past.

yeah the 'theory' just doesn't stick, and personally i dont think eri really 'rewinds' time she just shuffles atoms back to their previous state; because it would be far too easy to test time travel with it and they haven't done it even on a small scale in a lab recorded environment
