    Hey bro! I never comment on UA-cam videos but recently I had an ACL reconstruction surgery last week and have been bed bound and unable to walk or get out of bed.
    I had my surgery just as I reached Dracula on my first play through of V rising as well and I have just loved the game inside out so far every aspect about it!
    The surgery recovery can be very mentally draining and difficult and I was sad about not being able to play the game or being able to sit at my setup but then I found your channel and what a blessing that has been!
    For such a small creator you have unmatched content creating skills, not only has it been a pleasure to binge watch your Dregs to Dracula series but your personality is fantastic as well.
    Your ability to talk to the camera with humility and patience but at the same time keep things entertaining is a talent in it if itself. Not to mention your skill on the game!
    I just wanted to thank you for your videos and hope you continue to post content and genuinely wish you the best for the future.

      Oh wow thank you for the kind words!
      There's nothing worse than having difficult health issues. It's easy to take it all for granted until one day something changes and you realize how much value there is in your health. Wishing you a very speedy recovery!
      Glad you enjoy the content! I'm still fairly new to all of this, but I kind of just make the kind of content I'd like to see. I know there's a ton of people out there that love theorycrafting and breaking down the fine details in games.
      I'll also say, I was planning on waiting just a bit to start posting my next series, but I'll speed that up so you have something else to watch!

      This was my immediate thought. I was running spectral wolf, mist trance and it felt quite good with the changes

      Spectral wolf is going to be insane for raids, I really think Timmy is undervaluing it here

    Shadowbolt is really strong and highly underrated the only reason it’s not meta is because people can’t hit skill shots when everyone is running counters. And don’t know how to space and bait out cooldowns properly.

    I want more offensive spell variety
    I dislike how a lot of the offensive spells lack variety. Its just projectile that does damage or explosion on the ground or attack speed steroid. Its not surprising defensive spells are so oppressive
    They could add so much more variety to spells by adding more synergies between effects. So many offensive spells in the game you just dont bother with because why would you ever run a spectral wolf over a crystal lance? Cyclone is a step in the right directiom here.
    Relying on jewels to make spells usable also feels like a mistake in many cases

      I agree with you 100% and think it's a mix between both Jewels and what you're describing.
      Jewels are a REALLY good concept, but I think they should take them even farther.
      An example is Bloodrite's invisibility jewel. That is such an outside the box concept, and it changes your decision making around bloodrite. With it, you can use the brief 1.2+ seconds to do something to completely catch your opponent off-guard or reposition without them knowing, etc.
      Another good example is something like Phantom Aegis jewel where the recast pulls an ally to you.
      More stuff with that level of complexity would only serve to make spells SO much more interesting.
      And yes, when it comes to offensive spells, I always find it weird that Weapons have INSANE variety within 11 weapons (only a couple somewhat similar abilities) and cover an seriously absurd amount of combat utility/function, and yet offensive spells are like "this is the frost AOE. This is the unholy AOE. This is the Storm AOE"
      Like just look at the difference between Axe E and Sword E. 2 completely different, VASTLY more interesting/skillbased abilities when compared to like... sanguine coil vs corrupted skull.

    tbh the blood rite damage nerf makes me like it’s less necessary to actually have +damage on the jewel, instead i’m probs just going for daggers, invis, immat duration, and the snare. although this would be for a blood rite/mist trance build with oaksong to just out-mobility people

      Yeah I think my ideal is daggers, damage, primary atk damage, invis.
      Primary damage is legit crazy when paired with rogue. You can get easy 70 damage+ crits off spear poke instantly after procing it
      Mist Trance bloodrite is one of my absolute favorites

    Whip needs to hit the same as slashers, period, it's too easy to get value from it for it to hit that hard.

      Would not be surprised if it gets nerfed further. It is simply way too good in too many situations

      Not sure how much would change between normal vs brutal. Just hit max level for the most part on a lot of bosses, or w.e level you find the most comfortable for brutal

    Good discussion, im going to be patient with the devs on the balancing cuz i know balancing is difficult, but these changes are goi g in a good direction for now, they showed some love to the aoe’s which is nice.

      Yep. I'm hoping for an Ultimate balance patch at some point. Even some reworks would be nice.

    power surge got a duration increase with those changes. it is now exactly 5 seconds instead of 4.55. and blood rage is 5 seconds down from 5.2.

    You keep saying rogue builds are so good, but in brutal pve I was struggling. I gave up and swapped to a scholar build. Suddenly bosses are a joke...

      Scholar is very good in PvE. Scholar is good in PvP, but against rogue it will often get vaporized due to the ability to dodge things easier, and gigantic damage against no damage resist.

      These changes don't really affect my thought process for spell selection against bosses. If it was good before, it'll be good now. If it was bad before, there aren't really "enough" changes to make it good now.

    Stun lock listening to the community on just about everything besides balance patches. I wanted to see discharged and void nuked to oblivion. Literally only spells i see these past few weeks and its really boring 😴

      Yeah idk how discharge is still the way that it is. Hoping it gets changed in a good way to be healthy, but it will for sure still need work

      @@terribletimmy2 well, with static stuns nerfed to even 0.0001s it would be still annoying af. But they went in right direction to make it less overwhelming.
