    I sat in one the other day. Very impressed with this car. The seats were very comfy and the rear leg room was as big as my s550. Dont forget about the quality in the interior.

    Just got my 2014 XTS4 VSport Platinum AWD in Black Raven (June 2020 ... 29,000 miles). I’m not an automotive aficionado, but this chariot does make me feel good to drive. It has a style distinctly Cadillac which is maintained bumper to bumper. It’s smart looking and appeals to young and older. In appearance, even after 6 years, it’s arguably, not outdated. The twin-turbo V6 300+HP is plenty for me and it’s made to move. Probably not a raving screamer for those performance geeks, but definitely well into the upper 5-10%. Bet I feel as good about this vehicle as the guy who bought it new for $50,000 more.

      I'm thinking about purchasing one of the same year as yours..but with much higher mileage at 90k because of my post Covid budget. I only really want it because it has the Driver Assist safety package as standard..which I really need to protect my family as the reckless drivers where I live love to slam on their brakes right in front of you..so the emergency braking the car can do will hopefully keep us safer on the road. But I'm really worried about reliability and repairs. Do you think I'm asking for trouble buying one with such high mileage? Thanks for any advice.

      @@brianmcreynolds2431are you thinking about getting one? I’ve thought about either the XTS V-Sport or CTS V-Sport. They both go for around the same price range depending on the year, but the CTS variant has a little more horse power.

    XTS is one of the most striking looking vehicles on the road today. It's very distinctive. It looks better in person than it does on video or in pictures, brand new or waxed especially. It's aged well.
    It looks best at dusk or night-time. If you ever walk toward a new, shiny XTS at dusk while the super bright front vertical LED's illuminate and blind everything in front of it, and then the LED handles illuminate, all while you are walking toward it about to get in - it's classy af. Every time that happens, Sade's No Ordinary Love plays, instrumental version, automatically from the sky.

    • @CassandraPantaristi

      I kinda like the 2016-2017 XTS hearse models because of the black grille. If I want a hearse, I would get either a 2016 or 2017 model. I do also like the interior, the radio console, and the overall design of them. But also do like the headlamp design of the CT6. For now, the only hearse by Cadillac is the XTS. Thanks for liking my channel, I appreciate that :). I plan to make videos at some point. Philosophy and religion fascinate me, but science as well.

    Anyone saying "ecoboost mks is 30 grand less " your comparing a fully loaded caddy to a base model lincoln I have a 2011 lincoln mks ecoboost with the red s package it was the most expensive mks they offered and it was 65k without tax I love the car but there are a few things I don't like for example back seat kinda small heat and ac sucks in the back this caddy is well worth the extra 6k it's faster and has way more leg room in the back much larger car in general plus air ride suspension which is amazing on road trips the lincoln has springs

    Nicely equipped & not half bad looking. A good luxury cruiser for those older individuals who want domestic rides perhaps?
    My main dislike of the XTS stems from its platform, namely the transverse engine layout. It almost feels mass market. At lower price range (e.g. Buick Regal) I don't find it a concern, but the V-sport runs $70k+. That's near E550 & A6 3.0T money.
    Why purchase this over the much nicer & RWD premium German executive sedans, or better yet, Cadillac's excellent new CTS V-sport which rides on an actual premium FR chassis? I also think the CTS looks much better than the XTS too.

    I really like what Cadillac has done they've revived the brand to attract younger crowds like myself (I'm 22). This particular model looks good but doesn't quite call my attention I just bought the CTS Vsport 3 days ago and I'm in love with it to be honest, I was debating between the S5 and the Vsport. I know many will say Cadillac isn't as good as Audi BMW or Mercedes, but I'm very happy with my choice. As always, good work with the reviews keep it up man.

      Nobody can seem to completely mimic everything the Europeans can put out, but the CTS V sport is a decent car. However, I would have liked it if they would have stuck the Corvette Stingray's 6.2L V8 because it puts down more power and torque, weights less than the 3.6L TT V6, and is much more reliable. To top it off, that V8 has such a nice sound.

    • @Drzking9229
      @Drzking9229 10 років тому

      marc1093280 They'll probably put that V8 under the hood of the CTS-V, regardless of what they do I know that new CTS-V is gonna be a beast!

    • @marc1093280
      @marc1093280 10 років тому

      Yamil
      The CTS-V gets the supercharged 6.2L V8, and the CTS V sport should have gotten the naturally-aspirated 6.2L V8.

    • @Drzking9229
      @Drzking9229 10 років тому

      marc1093280 true, I fell like the TT V6 sounds good but no denying the V8 would sound way better. I'm actually looking into what exhaust system to install to give it a little more growl.

    The LTS will replace the XTS. In my opinion, the LTS should come with the bi-turbo V6 as a base engine and a refined small-block V8 with a high compression ratio. The LTS would start at $75,000 with a fully loaded Vsport costing $120K.

    • @marc1093280

      @yoshiakik.5332 8 років тому

      I totally agree. It's only when professional car reviewers started reviewing on how "sporty" a car is that perceptions changed. Luxury cars shouldn't have to be "sporty" as long as they're comfortable, have the current best tech, and that smooth pillowy ride, which the XTS is one of the best, and I been in them all. The XTS has aged well and looks best at dusk or nightime, especially walking toward it with the super bright LED's blinding everyone and the lit handles, pretty classy.

    What about the cts vsport

    • @SouthernGent44
      @SouthernGent44 9 років тому

      CTS vsport has same engine, more torque , much better handling, but less rear legroom. If you don't mind a smaller backseat area, go with the CTS vsport. I want the extra room, so I'm getting the xts vsport.

      "You won't find real wood in an American vehicle." WRONG. Cadillac has had real wood in their vehicles for decades.
