I sat in one the other day. Very impressed with this car. The seats were very comfy and the rear leg room was as big as my s550. Dont forget about the quality in the interior.
Just got my 2014 XTS4 VSport Platinum AWD in Black Raven (June 2020 ... 29,000 miles). I’m not an automotive aficionado, but this chariot does make me feel good to drive. It has a style distinctly Cadillac which is maintained bumper to bumper. It’s smart looking and appeals to young and older. In appearance, even after 6 years, it’s arguably, not outdated. The twin-turbo V6 300+HP is plenty for me and it’s made to move. Probably not a raving screamer for those performance geeks, but definitely well into the upper 5-10%. Bet I feel as good about this vehicle as the guy who bought it new for $50,000 more.
I'm thinking about purchasing one of the same year as yours..but with much higher mileage at 90k because of my post Covid budget. I only really want it because it has the Driver Assist safety package as standard..which I really need to protect my family as the reckless drivers where I live love to slam on their brakes right in front of you..so the emergency braking the car can do will hopefully keep us safer on the road. But I'm really worried about reliability and repairs. Do you think I'm asking for trouble buying one with such high mileage? Thanks for any advice.
@@brianmcreynolds2431are you thinking about getting one? I’ve thought about either the XTS V-Sport or CTS V-Sport. They both go for around the same price range depending on the year, but the CTS variant has a little more horse power.
XTS is one of the most striking looking vehicles on the road today. It's very distinctive. It looks better in person than it does on video or in pictures, brand new or waxed especially. It's aged well. It looks best at dusk or night-time. If you ever walk toward a new, shiny XTS at dusk while the super bright front vertical LED's illuminate and blind everything in front of it, and then the LED handles illuminate, all while you are walking toward it about to get in - it's classy af. Every time that happens, Sade's No Ordinary Love plays, instrumental version, automatically from the sky.
Also, I checked out your UA-cam channel, you are quite the interesting individual and you must be pretty smart. Anyhow, watching some of those philosophy/religious videos (I have a BA in Philosophy). Anyhow, you must have 10/10 persona, p. cool.
I kinda like the 2016-2017 XTS hearse models because of the black grille. If I want a hearse, I would get either a 2016 or 2017 model. I do also like the interior, the radio console, and the overall design of them. But also do like the headlamp design of the CT6. For now, the only hearse by Cadillac is the XTS. Thanks for liking my channel, I appreciate that :). I plan to make videos at some point. Philosophy and religion fascinate me, but science as well.
Great job cadillac.people want to complain About g.m. based on old cost cutting practices but this effort seems top notch. With all this power and lux features I'd love to drive this car cross country.
I have plans to go to toyota within the next couple of months. Unfortunately, I broke my finger last week, so I'll be out of commission as far as filming for at least a month. Plenty of uploads to come though, I have a ton of videos to upload haha.
hey man you do the best car reviews that I've heard. I appreciate your knowledge on any automobile. so without further ado...thanks! love cadillac man! and keep up your good work.
had the opportunity to drive this at the auto show..this car is amazing...front wheel drive pull is non existant, and I hate front wheel drive...this thing is a beast and rides so smooth.....all these naysayers need to drive this.....
Saabkyle04 u forgot a small storage is inside the A/C console , which is if u touch the end of the console you'll see that A/C control comes up and give u a secret place to put inside it anything .
Kyle, my favorite part of the videos are the interior run throughs and the sounds of the car. Now that your doing voiceovers inside, you are removing the sounds of the car and it seems very lacking now...
Anyone saying "ecoboost mks is 30 grand less " your comparing a fully loaded caddy to a base model lincoln I have a 2011 lincoln mks ecoboost with the red s package it was the most expensive mks they offered and it was 65k without tax I love the car but there are a few things I don't like for example back seat kinda small heat and ac sucks in the back this caddy is well worth the extra 6k it's faster and has way more leg room in the back much larger car in general plus air ride suspension which is amazing on road trips the lincoln has springs
Fantastic gauge area. I love the customization allowed and there is tons of useful info and neat graphics (though the transitions are slow like they are using AMD hardware)! Zing!
Kyle, what do you think of the reverse light being at the bottom of the bumper? I honestly think its a terrible idea because people may not look at the bottom of the car.
Dude I bet that every time you go to Bill Black that you smell the food cooking from that Sonic right across the street from there! Great place to sit in your car and chill and have lunch :)
Nicely equipped & not half bad looking. A good luxury cruiser for those older individuals who want domestic rides perhaps? My main dislike of the XTS stems from its platform, namely the transverse engine layout. It almost feels mass market. At lower price range (e.g. Buick Regal) I don't find it a concern, but the V-sport runs $70k+. That's near E550 & A6 3.0T money. Why purchase this over the much nicer & RWD premium German executive sedans, or better yet, Cadillac's excellent new CTS V-sport which rides on an actual premium FR chassis? I also think the CTS looks much better than the XTS too.
I really like what Cadillac has done they've revived the brand to attract younger crowds like myself (I'm 22). This particular model looks good but doesn't quite call my attention I just bought the CTS Vsport 3 days ago and I'm in love with it to be honest, I was debating between the S5 and the Vsport. I know many will say Cadillac isn't as good as Audi BMW or Mercedes, but I'm very happy with my choice. As always, good work with the reviews keep it up man.
Nobody can seem to completely mimic everything the Europeans can put out, but the CTS V sport is a decent car. However, I would have liked it if they would have stuck the Corvette Stingray's 6.2L V8 because it puts down more power and torque, weights less than the 3.6L TT V6, and is much more reliable. To top it off, that V8 has such a nice sound.
marc1093280 true, I fell like the TT V6 sounds good but no denying the V8 would sound way better. I'm actually looking into what exhaust system to install to give it a little more growl.
Can you please review a 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan R-line, Or a 2014 Audi A4 Premium Plus Quattro? I am a very committed subscriber to your channel and have never missed one of your videos!
The LTS will replace the XTS. In my opinion, the LTS should come with the bi-turbo V6 as a base engine and a refined small-block V8 with a high compression ratio. The LTS would start at $75,000 with a fully loaded Vsport costing $120K.
For $71,000 i'd get a Viper or a Z06 (2012 model) with very low milage. Cadillac u gotta be kidding me! First of all this car lacks that Caddy stretch .. and the Interior is nice but no where near $71,000. sorry Cadillac this is unreasonable.
This car is for a wealthy family that can be easily daily driven, instead of a weekend only car for someone who doesn't have a family like the cars you just listed. You're comparing two completely different types of vehicles with completely different purposes.
MrCargod05 ok well whats stoping said family from buying a nice(perhaps nicer) Mercedes or bmw or audi ? 71k is way too much for this car no matter how you look at it
I totally agree. It's only when professional car reviewers started reviewing on how "sporty" a car is that perceptions changed. Luxury cars shouldn't have to be "sporty" as long as they're comfortable, have the current best tech, and that smooth pillowy ride, which the XTS is one of the best, and I been in them all. The XTS has aged well and looks best at dusk or nightime, especially walking toward it with the super bright LED's blinding everyone and the lit handles, pretty classy.

CTS vsport has same engine, more torque , much better handling, but less rear legroom. If you don't mind a smaller backseat area, go with the CTS vsport. I want the extra room, so I'm getting the xts vsport.

Cadillac's design team really knows exactly what they're doing. Every car they make is just amazing to look at.
Hahaha. No. Not at all

I bought an identical model but in slate grey. I am amazed by this car every time I drive it. It is just a perfect luxury car.
These cars are just amazing. Cadillac out did themselves for sure!
Damn almost make me cry how much Cadillac has grow up, while late, it's making a very good job.

That’s exactly how I’ve fallen in love with mine
Wow the interior is just amazing
gotta love those rear tails..
I love it too, those is more beautiful and has more presence than any Mercedes and BMW in this era..
Thank you Kyle for posting this video of the Cadillac XTS, truly a classic looking car.
you are doing a great job with your commentary.

I own a 2014 Caddy XTS sitting on Vogue tires. You won't find a better riding car... Reliability, style and comfort is what I'm getting. Go GM !!!
Guy Wilson how's the car holding up? I'm looking to get one as I just rented one and I absolutely loved it

This one and the DTS are very affordable right about now!!!💵

this v6 sounds even sweeter than the ford eco boost ,
Everything about this car is gaudy and over the top.

It ended up being the CT6, and it does undercut the S-Class. Higher power to weight ratio, too. And it doesn't come in a Vsport, sadly.
Hey nice vid like usual, you should do the 2014 Toyota Tundra
I like this car but that Techdometer LCD Screen looks really confusing
I notice a lot of people that does reviews on this car don’t mention the wireless charger it has in the secret compartment
That came out in 2015
So Lit Mobile just sent me this wireless solar power bank. Let's see what's inside
For the love of everything you wont believe how much i hate hearing that ad.

none of this is happening.

CPBlackopsMW3 Tag me too lmao.
CPBlackopsMW3 please do, i looked at your videos and you're about 11. kids have a tendency to lie on the internet. just something i noticed.
SOSA
Ok just wait, we're getting it sometime next week.
Very nice ride an fast had to get one
Not sure about this design. I still love the Deville/DTS styling. I want this interior with the size/styling/northstar of the DTS.
What's the top speed?
Excellent review...
NEW INTRO PLEASE HOLY SHIT

maybe in the past but not nowadays imo

71,000?? GM be tripping lol I'll get me a BMW fir that price and I'm a GM fan but that's a bit overpriced
Can you do more test drive videos.
That basically shows a xts v is coming since the v sport is the gap between regular and v it sounds like to Me a xts v is coming
I like it, however for 71k I probably wouldn't buy a Cadillac.
yeah... idk what theyre expecting. I mean the CTS-V Coupe isn't quite that much
Beautiful car!
Is this like M package or is this actually xts "V".
The 2013 SRX was the first Cadillac with the CUE System!
CUE appeared in the XTS first then trickled down to the others.
nice car with reasonable price
Beautiful car.
Can you review the 2015 cadillac escalade suv?
A video of the new BMW 4 series gran coupe would be great!
they should just discontinue this car, its not worth paying more money than a cts v-sport
I am curious as to what happens in 20 years when all these fancy new LCD dashboards start fritzing out.
In 20 years they'll probably be hooptie's just like any other 20 year old car unless it's a low mileage garage queen.
wow :) you're the best !!
PLEASE do the new CTS V-Sport!
Luxury car, $46,000 base, 4300+ lbs, FWD(base). huh? I'm not saying its a bad car, but a luxury car that's FWD doesn't sound right to me.
I totally agree with you, something that costs this much shouldn't be FWD, RWD should be standard, AWD should be optional.
I love yor startaps I vont to cray starting cars I lov you
I believe all cadi's are generally FWD...and this one is no different...its AWD (high end trim) with a FWD biased
Akil Hodge Cadillac, the ultimate luxury cars, have been making FWD cars for decades. Great ones too. XTS AWD is optional, I believe.

Can you get Opel Insignia in US instead ot this?
just one thing 2 say: where is the v8?
Damn it! I bought a new xts luxury when I could've bought a slightly used v sport xts T_T
I feel the same way smh
That's what I did. I bought one 3 years ago low miles. Love it.
Aziz when it says Platinum everything is real my 2010 dts platinum is pure art.. dont come here with ur foreign car bs
And make a v12 option only thing to do put to v6 together
Can you do the new MKZ?
Heyy , can you do a review of toyota avalon 2014 ?
What's the point of remote start?
Style goes to the Cadillac. Technology goes to the Acura RLX Sport Hybrid.
The car started sputtering when you turn it off
I really liked the car, but the amount of space on the back seat it does not seems to be that much roomy
Has he reviewed the Mercedes SLS AMG?
good car, thanks bro
What about the cts vsport
CTS vsport has same engine, more torque , much better handling, but less rear legroom. If you don't mind a smaller backseat area, go with the CTS vsport. I want the extra room, so I'm getting the xts vsport.
very nice
Love that Digital Cluster Design! Hate the Car
Can you do the 2015 cadillac truck
The Que system is great, but the "touch face" buttons... not so much
the wood is real?
U won't find real wood in an American car
This one is
Aziz Saad Incorrect, it's starting to appear with some makes
+Panagiotis F Then you should probably learn how to spell it correctly.
