I love the covers over the waterers and feeders!!!
Looks nice. One suggestion. Right under the feeder at the ends of the egg roll, I’d put something to block that. Something will get in there or one of your quail will find their way out.

I will soon me buying one of the 3 stack cages because of yall. just got my first cubby of 12 curternex quail! I'm first cage was way over build and cost me over $200 before it was done. I have since decided the old cage will work will for my rabbits in 3 weeks.

Papa, as usual, you did great. Wynola did great with that cage. Now if they would make it a triple or 5 tier. LOL
They do I have two 4 tier cages just like that one with all the bells and whistles.
That water system looks so much more effective. I have a Wynola cage and my basic cup system was always overflowing because I had some who paced the back of the cage all the time and stepped on the cups all the time so I just use the soda bottle attachments.
Man I gotta start saving pennies or maybe I'll be able to sell some eggs eventually and get one of these, I love to build but these cages are nice. Great review, thanks guys

They do. It is custom only. You just need to contact them and they will be spot to make something special for you.

love the cage setup do you ever have problems with cats with it? I use Clear PVC screen sheets because the cats can still get their claws through 1/4 cage cloth.
It is very predator proof

Wow, I’d be proud to have that in my living room, it’s very well thought out and so easy to clean. And I believe I could make a predator screen for bottom so the feral cats around here couldn’t get their little feet! Or Maybe I’ll just put this cage inside a bigger cage if I put it outside that way I can cover the top with clear covering! Tell me if that’s a bad idea please.

Yes we had them in an uninsulated garage for the first 8-9 years.

When I watched this video a month ago I thought the guard on the front and over the water was “overkill.” But today my hatching time cage was outside letting the quail enjoy a beautiful December day in California, and a Cooper’s hawk flew into my yard and decapitated two birds and flew off with one! I would like a 5 tier Myshire community cage on wheels. When will it be available?

yes, it would. You would be able to put more birds in it if you are using it for standard birds.

We bought one of these, did you ever figure what the wire piece in the feeder is used for?
It is to prevent wild birds or animals getting to the feed or the quail
To bad it doesn't have a dust bath but otherwise I love it
Just by a heavy plastic kitchen or cosmetic holder for a dust pan and put sand in it and sit it in the cage.
Does all this come as a kit or did you order each thing separately?
It comes as you saw it on the video. For a single layer like that, you would get two boxes. It is a complete setup. Wynola does a great job.

Does the waterer get soiled from the quail droppings?
There is a cover on the back of the cage to prevent and minimize that and they are very easy to clean out
With the water trough on the outside of the cage, the birds cannot soil the water. The cover helps with external contaminants (dust, leaves) but they have to poke their heads through the cage to drink. So until they can poke their butts out, no droppings in the water

i got the 3 pack of diy cages from wynola ranch and they were very poorly welded and wires on the bottom weren't spaced correctly. they work fine but very poorly built and came already rusty.

3 breeder sets so about 18-20

Are these cages only for indoor only? As the space gap does looks a little big to be predator

Indoor and outdoor. That is why they have the covering for the front. And the sides are completely covered
The feed would get wet, as well as the droppings tray would fill with rain. It can be used outdoors, but only under cover

I believe 18 but I would have to measure again.

They Wynola website has been down for a long time and still is. They stopped replying to emails I’ve sent them for over a year. I was asking about their products and interested in purchasing. I thought they went out of business. Perhaps they only reply to huge quail operations like the nice people that run this channel.

That cage would never work for me with the water on the back.
