I feel like the 660s are the pickiest about Crank Case Compression. My 661 I cut .100 thou off of the base and a ton out of the chamber and piston. The intake without touching it landed at 89 degrees. Strangely enough it runs like an animal with no ill effects from the low intake. My guess is because its front fed and has a stuffer in it. My G660 pro liked the intake at 78 and exhaust at 98 with 16 degrees blowdown and .19 squish, 5 Degree taper cut piston and chamber. She is a bear to start lol all the compression. Numbers are just numbers tho. Good luck with the build.

As long as the surface is cleaned and freshly roughed up. Aluminum oxidizes really quick
