Yeah better to just get the Teenage Engineering OP1. Those things look fun. Just can't afford one at the moment. But maybe now that there is monthly payments with Affirm maybe I can.
This but unironically. The piano layout has a lot of stupid design decisions that everyone just puts up with because "It's always been that way". Not saying that the one in the video is any better though
there are actually a lot of "reinventions" already! since you're talking about this specific controller i think you'd be interested in taking a look at any isomorphic layout people use these days
I was watching this video and then my neighbour came and we watched it together. He said that this video changed his life and touched his heart. I then went and rented a projector in a big field and all my villagers watched it and it changed their lives too. We all are so grateful. Thank You for this video....
@@nyashkawaii Not sure what you're talking about exactly? It not only switches modes based on the pad you put on, but it also has pressure sensitivity, MPE, and Aftertouch. Have you ever actually used one?
@BitHappyy Hi. The things on top over sensors usually called membranes. (this is why regular PC keyboard called membrane one). Incase of this one: probably using regular RF sensors, that's are usually used in such thing. The swapping mechanism is probably works with RF too(that's molded into membrabe, meanwhile box underneath understand what it's attach to). I didn't said its bad or anything like this. Even worth the price with that look and that its even made. :)
That’s the craziest thing I’ve seen in Music for a while a modular Mitty controller. My only question is are the pads velocity sensitive? That’s a crazy innovative design.
This is so cool… in a limited demo, unusable for much though, nothing live for sure. Damn I wish one of these with the switchable faceplates worked for half a shit.
It seems like they make every type of midi controller besides a midi mixer. Just give me a bunch of faders, with solo and mute buttons under each one that I can link to my DAW. I don’t know why you have to spend thousands on an analog mixer just to get hands on with leveling. I have googled extensively so if anybody knows a product like this let me know.
I think they should come in a range of sizes just like midi keyboards. Small 8 to 16 mixer channel the size of a 25 key keyboard, or go crazy sizes that go across your whole desk like a full size keyboard.
@@LNADoesAudioStuff More importantly, why do I have to search through the comments in order to find the name of the product you are attempting to show off??
400usd for the controller and all the pads. hard pass. When they use the yellow key pad you can clearly tell theyre holding the pad on with the left hand and the right is moving the pad around. You absolutely wont be able to play single notes with expression with that.
The controller is called Joué Play ❤ check out my channel for over 300 tutorials and production videos (especially the Ableton Live gang!)
How do you purchase one
how can I purchase a Joue play, pls tell me this has been my dream instrument since i was *born*
Had one of these for a week. It had more issues than I could count. Sent back…
Exactly what I expected watching this, things like this just scream "made to be shown off not actually used" to me
@@TerrinUKthey're not even pretty
yeah looks crappy, like some 5$ amazon stuff.
That sucks…the idea is dope…wud b cool to have one if it was super functional

It’d be a simple design improvement to add a big rind around the underside of the edge of the pad to create a large suction cup for pad stability!
I've been waiting for the day for someone to reinvent the piano layout, it was becoming much too familiar and useful
It does come with the standard piano layout lol just not shown in this video
thought the same thing

I like the concept. I assume I know how it functions. Would be nice to have low cost access to making capacitive rubber like that
Best product to buy with 1 pound!
I need a full video.
Very nice melody
Hey! Great to see your content! I have to catch up on the stuff you have been doing. ❤ Love your work! Have a good one 😊
Thanks! You too!
Man I want to hear the whole thing! It sounded awesome

wow
@@LNADoesAudioStuff what is it called ??
Yeah Alex, I'll take things that didn't happen for 500
nice copy paste
it looks like the sensor would combust and completely stop working after a bit
Does it automatically detect the overlays and switches mode accordingly? And do the overlays stay in place even when playing a bit harder?
Just a regular membrane keyboard, but without keys. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It does, via NFC tags embedded in the plastic.

An modular midi. So cooollllll
Very interesting device, but what exactly is it called?
Very nice 👍
Sounds like Purity Ring 😊❤
Which application you use... It sound very professional wow❤🥰👌🏼👌🏼
my keyboard lights have like a bar audio visualizer mode so this was very cool
thats fire
Cool midi instruments. I also have made a simple diy midi instrument.
Cool. How did you do that?
Had one for a week. Didn't work with Android.
Contacted support and got a very cold answer - only Apple fanboys.
Avoid.
Really cool!
Impressed that it works. Looks built to die
Cool music
Dieter Rams and his 10 principles of good design just came watching this video

They are. Although it's a great idea, it was very poorly implemented. Used mine for a week and gave it to a kid.
What the difference with putting a pad over android tab or an ipad?
I love it
Benefit?
Woow I liked it. How much?
Too dolla
I don't need it, I don't need it, I NEED IT
Верхняя часть на нижнюю типа WiFi передает?
Looks cool nice now I need a link

We got customizing MIDI controllers before gta 6! Sorry I had to
The unnecessary cuts in the video are distracting. Subconsciously make me feel like they’re hiding something or scamming somehow.
is it chromatic or diatonic?
🤣
Woah! How much are these?
Over £300, start saving, apparently there’s loads of glitches in it
Yeah it would be better to get the Teenage Engineering OP1. That thing looks so fun. Just haven't been able to afford one.
Nice🎉
It’s giving hip hop Lodi 😊

Woah
There is just no way this product works as intended.
Looks like a gear head guys another controller
i see the pad sliding around when you touch it, that looks terrible lmao
OhSayAM
❤❤❤❤
expensive
nice toy for small children > 2 years.
Nope. If it doesn't have
weighted hammer action keys, it's dead to me.
Doesn't look good, at all.
I must know what this is! I'm an aspiring producer/creator and I need this in my life! Is it native to a specific DAW?
No
No no no no no no no
bonelab
Sorry what is the name of the instrument? Who makes it
Its like a shitty version of the roli blocks
when you see diatonic keyboard it's immediately toy not pro
it's not impressive, it overheats my laptop within minutes draining all battery thus becoming unusuable. getting it connected was a nightmare too
The type of controller you'll never, ever see in a somewhat decent studio... This is such a gimmick for gear freaks who never actually release music
🥹🔥
Looks like a shitty touch screen where you don’t press keys, you press silicone.
Yooo wtf is that
Looks like garbage.
25 keys limits creativity. Why not make 37 keys as standard for all midi keyboard controllers?
Because not being portable limits creativity on the go.
This looks and feels like a toy with poor longevity.
Looks like trash
Oh my god when does it stop this geniouenly looks fucking useless
Lame
What is impressive about this?
Why would I use this over an mpk mini

You know if you move the plants no one cares about it wont be in your way nor does it make your videos any better :)
