Hey! You can browse any NKS compatible VST. That can be either a Native Instruments library or a third-party library that the developer has made NKS compatible like Arturia's V Collection for instance.
Please, what are the latency settings in ableton you use during this showcase? My latency is really putting my creativity off. I'm on mac + ableton + m-audio keystation 49.
We were using the default settings on Ableton. It all depends on the specs of your computer and the midi controller your using. You can reduce the buffer size in your settings to reduce latency.
Arturia Minilab 3: Too much bulk between keyboard and laptop keyboard so that I'm having to reach/stretch over more if I need to use the laptop's keyboard.... In fact, with this knobby/slidery/screeny bulk up front on many keyboards/controllers, it gets in the way and seems not as ergonomic... Here's an idea in that regard: Have just the keys and then have a separate wireless and/or wired/plugin module for any screen, sliders, joysticks, knobs, etc. that you can choose where to place, like on the left or right or front if you so choose and depending on your handedness. You don't even need to be using it if you just need the keyboard part. In fact, say, in a live performance for example, you could even have someone somewhere else entirely with that module controlling your inputs as you play the keys. Oh, and the pieces are optional and more portable too.
6:33 this isn’t entirely correct. Osmose E has “pressure” instead of just velocity, aftertouch after full press is engaged, and left and right (wiggling the keys). There is no seaboard Rise like glide up and down the key for any purpose. The keys are not capacitive.
Did we forget to mention your favorite MIDI controller? Let us know!
5:34 so when you say you can browse VST‘s, are they third-party VST’s like serum and vengeance avenger? Or are they only native instrument VT
