I finally got back to catfishing after missing most of the flathead season. The blue cats were playing hard to get but I managed to get into some good ones and make it a good trip.
Thank you Dave! It can hurt not getting out but that's life. Like you said family and work have to come first, fishing is just a bonus. Thanks for watching!
Hey man thanks and thanks for watching! It felt good to be back out fishing again. Sucks you didn't get out much this year either, it's rough when that happens. But work has to come first to pay for bills and fishing lol. Hope you can get out more this fall and winter!
Just digging into the video but glad to see ya out man! Hope all is well! Edit: Another cool video man, those big losses hurt, especially on the slim days lol!!! I got my tail handed to me wayyyy too many times this fall. Certainly had more than my share of shots at giants Landed some great fish, but definitely felt that sting more than usual lol. Been on a quest for a better deep water rig, my hookup rate gets way too low when i get deeper. I love fishing big live baits in the fall. Between bigger baits and steeper angle, something just doesn't seem to work out as good. Happy Thanksgiving man!!!
Hey man good to hear from you! Yeah loosing that big one sucked but at least I was able to make up for it the next trip. Flatheads definitely seem to get off more than blue cats, must be how their mouth pads are built. It's cool that you spend so much time trying to figure out better ways to fish and catch those fish. I'm just stubborn and do the same thing every time and hope for the best. From what you told me, you had a pretty good year and it's no doubt because of the effort you put in to it. I hope you get in to them next year and get down to the Potomac this winter!
Heyyy man great to hear from you! We had an amazing Thanksgiving and got to hang with most of my family it was great! Hope you had a great one as well and your family is doing good! Keep your videos coming I love em!
That's good to hear, hopefully that rain gets them to turn on the generators and gives you some flow. I wanted to try the upper Susqy but it's supposed to pretty windy. So far I think I was lied to, should have went. Hopefully you're getting on them!
Man sorry to hear that! I didn't get to fish the skook either this year, that can be such a cool river. Hopefully you get out next year man! Thanks for watching!
Hey man thanks for sticking with the channel during my absence. I think I'm finally back for a while to keep the videos coming steadily. I also am working hard to make the videos better and I think the one I'm releasing next week will be a big improvement. I know you watched my latest video and that one was pretty rough. That's not how they normally are and that's not how they will be going forward.
Hey thanks for watching! I go to the Virginia waters and use my gill net. Definitely is the most efficient and easiest way to catch gizzard shad, and it's only $9 for a recreational permit. Places like Gunston and Dogue Coves hold a lot of shad.
Happy thanksgiving to you and your family sir. Thanks for the video sir ❤
Thank you George! I hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving as I did. I hope you enjoyed the video!
Glad to see you back on the water. We know family and work comes first

AYE! Glad to see you back out! I've been the same way this year too much work, not enough fish! Time to get after them.
