So here is your two Luxembourgish viewers :-) okay, so we are Croatian, but living in Lux for 10 years so I guess that counts. Glad that you enjoyed it. For me its a nice pop song, nothing revolutionary, but there are interesting sections which make it a bit more interesting. I hope she will qualify so that Lux doesnt lose interest immediately lol
React to the Italy entry! And Angelina cover from the 4th night of Sanremo, La Rondine. It was a song from her father. He died almost 10 years ago during a concert and she was present.
I am rooting for Luxembourg. It's so nice to have them back in the contest! I would like to hear the song with more backing vocals...she seems very exposed during parts of the song. The stripped down treatment is nice during the beginning, but the chorus could really use some more vocal coverage. Overall its not a huge standout, but still a lovely song, and I hope for good things for them.
I mean, I like it. It’s a good song, not a bad performance. I would think this can qualify. Is it innovative or a standout in any way? Not really. But I do enjoy it. Not a winner… but I am glad it’s there. I do agree about the breath control though. It’s a little distracting. But I can live with it if I have to. Oh, also. I didn’t actually think they’d come back at this point anymore. I’m glad that they did but they will have to earn their place back as “a country to watch out for”. This was a decent start but they’ll need to do better if they want to recapture their past glory. But a hearty welcome back for now!
Luxembourg has around 600.000 inhabitants, Think of it like an European Vermont. Is Vermont the little kitten of USA? (I think that for Tyler the answer is: Yes!)
Iceland's population is about 375 000. We're probably so used to Iceland participating in Eurovision that I guess everybody has forgotten how small they actually are. This year, all I hear is Luxembourg is such a tiny country etc (and surely they are) but can't remember that being pointed out about Iceland.
Rebekah, I really appreciate that you always welcome people in their native language, and your pronunciation of Luxembourgish, and many other languages, is good. 👍
I was initially disapointed, but it's growing on me. I wish it was entirely in French. But yeah, doesn't it sound exactly like something you'd hear in Eurovision 15 to 20 years ago?
ESC Gabe has quite a revealing video out about the Luxemburg final, The TV company outsourced the whole event to israel. The staff on the production incl dancers are israeli - so is Tali.
And they had to switch from their own songs, that they sent to the competition, to songs production chose for them and none of the authors is from Lux. Outrageous.
Regardless of what happened, Tali herself has lived in Luxembourg for 10 years, so she is from Luxembourg, but more recently, she has lived in NY. Her family moved away from Israel.
As someone who supports Palestine, I see no reason not to support Tali. It's the Luxembourg NF creators and choreography people who have ties to Israel.
I'm glad to have Luxembourg back, even if they are only putting out a safe and kind of mediocre song. On the whole, you have managed to pick three of the least interesting songs and the most divisive song to react to first, so I guess that means we are to look forward to a bunch of bangers later on.
I will say my thoughts on the song first, the mix of French and English is cute, the melody is neat. She will need to improve breath control a good amount though. And now, to thoughts semi-related to the song. So, Tali has Israeli heritage, her brother I believe is in IDF right now, the Luxembourg NF was produced by an Israeli company and the song that won it is called "Fighter". Which when you put all that together it definitely paints the whole thing in a different light.
The song is completely not about that Topic, and even though it's her good right as she is not to blame. Good that she at least not support Terrorists.
Do you have any I idea what are you doing her? Are you at all professional? Can you talk? I have a feeling you are high and 50 percent of your speech … « it’s like… » , « I don’t know » … there are other words in English
Nah the song is generic and bad and so boring also the singer win cause she is from isreal, there was much better song that was fan favourite that shoukd have won
Yes a ton of people from Luxembourg including myself just turned on the TV and voted for who they thought had the best overall performance. And for me personally it was Tali. I only learned about her Israeli heritage after and now it is what it is.... The song is in any case not objectively TERRIBLE. It maybe isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it's inoffensively mid. I hope we'll at least qualify and that RTL will take this year's criticisms to improve next year's show. :)
@@sav0001 nah krick was the only favourite and her song was tons better then this cheap thing. I saw people were suprised she won cause she wasnt the best but then everyone found out that producers were israeli and she ia so yea. Krick was robbed hard

Ok but honestly, I can't believe I didn't comment when this came out. This is my favorite this year. I love it.
i missed you guys

Tali is so talented and a favorite. Bravo to Lux!

omg folks!! georgia actually confirmed that their song is called fire fighter 😂
Welcome back Luxembourg. Not quite my cup of tea, but not the worst I've heard this year. If it will make the finals 🤷🏽♀️ bit too early to say.

Really? Perfect, now I have two reasons why not to vote for this.

I loved their song is most in french. My favourite at LSC, but overall, a very generic National Final. Tali reminds a bit of ZAZ. Good luck in may.
Great to have french! Good song.
My vote goes to Tali ❤
Really great national final Luxembourg - a seriously good show. Shame about the elephant in the room!
The elephant - the show was all israeli?
@@MrGiancana let them work it out
I like that Luxembourg is participating this year - but I do not get winner vibes sadly.
Winner vibes?😊
It will struggle to qualify, but we had Poland last year in the same boat and she turned it around.
@@Andrei-Marian I don't think it will struggle, she is already good now. This will be great by May
Finally you're onto the good songs... which are kinda rare this year :( Actually might just watch your Aiko vid since I need a good laugh.
Norway next plz!
Just started editing it today. 😊
@@MyrtlePThanks! 😊
It’s killing me that’s they are reacting to all the not exciting songs first😭😭 Guys I promise it gets good!!
Ireland and Slovenia are not exciting to you? Let me guess, you love Finland 🙄
“Not exciting songs”?? Hahaha 🤦🏾♂️
@@Skorpio994 No Finland is shit, and I really like Ireland and Slovenia
@@plantita3183 oh ok! Im so used to people on twitter with bad taste i always have to assume the worst 😂
I like this song, much better than the demonic screeching from Ireland or the embarrassing awfulness from Finland.
please ITALY next!
technically Luxembourg is not a country but a duchy greetings from the Belgian neighbors and good luck Luxembourg
Aren't duchies often by definition countries anyway?
completely wrong, Luxembourg is a country and a Grand Duchy at the same time, just like Belgium is a Kingdom and a country.
What a Bullshit, technically Luxembourg is a country since 1839 🤣🤣🤣
A polished performance of an empty song.

This was ok, but nothing special. Do Finland soon, it's interesting to say the least. .😅

A lot of people loved this song without knowing where Tali was born. She and Krick had almost the same televote score.
