@@RohitKumaramritsar don't cut the wire you might need to replace the whole radio unit , and cutting the wire might make it more complicated when buying a new one trust me going through it now
Thank you so much bro , i did not have $500 for a new radio, i have my ‘15 on Turo, customers love her! This easy to do ! White cord far left, my hazards still work 🙏🏿
I have the same issue plus my turn signal sound sometimes doesn’t work and my ac shuts off and on I cut the wire and still no fix I went to a shop and they said my voltage is up and down and the ground wires are all fine . I’ve gotten auto zone to check my alternator and battery and they are both good what are my other options cause buying a new radio I’ve heard from mechanics isn’t gonna solve the issue. I’m out of options at this point anything could help.
Will this also fix the Air conditioner? My radio does not work at all but the screen still lights up with a blank screen and the aircon air is always blowing regular air
Your best bet will be to bite the bullet and spend $600 on a aftermarket …mine messed up a while back and it gets worse when it rains radio and air would just flicker off an on
Umm...... that white wire is the CANBUS communication between the head and the radio. Chances are the the CAN signal is crashing. You're not going to fix this without an oscilloscope, a schematic and a tutorial on GM-LAN. Then start unplugging modules until that white wire shows data activity on it. Could be the head, could be the BCM, could be the radio...... On a CANBUS communications system there are two wires. Each wire is terminated with 60 Ohm resisters. Measuring across the LAN lines, you should read 120 Ohms with a meter. Start unplugging devices until you read 120 Ohms because usually, its a bad contact on a connector, a cold solder joint on one of the terminating resistors or a broken wire. Good Luck....
No this doesn’t fix 😂 just pull your radio out and cut a wire and stick it back in, what about insulating that cut wire, next thing you know, other stuff shorts out, it’s better to replace the bad part, funny video tho Just pull it out and cut it😂😂
Pulling the display wasn’t that easy as showed in your video, it has some stops at the bottom that needed to be pushed down at same time of pulling up front the display. Also to place it back it need to push the stops down fix the display and be aware of plastics guide on each side that need to be inline with the display. Other wise you will break your display or will not seat correctly. Btw radio I cut the white wire but still same issue just no noise I think that’s just the speaker wire … don’t cut the WW
Makes me wonder why they have a recall for a key that works fine but not the freaking stereo since it seems everyone has this issue
You have to replace your radio with an aftermarket unit at this point, all 5th gen stock radios are known to go bad
Sad to see so many people got the car they dreamed of only to find a faulty stereo system and no room for a spare tire😂
2nd Biggest regret in my life first one was my wife, 2nd one was cutting this wire
Not work for ya ? I have this issue for 2 months .now I think this issue my draining my battery.oam scare to cut the wire off tho

@@freecity50ifyI did change the fuse, battery and I did cut off also the wire. Replace the radio panel Still the same.

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT MINE IS DOING!
This fixed the static noise I had, but not the freezing issue 🙁 I'm thinking in putting an aftermarket radio.

Ugh same problem
Mine didn’t fix when I did that does that mean I gotta buy a new one
A real man uses his fingers to unscrew bolts. You used screw gun so your soft. My fingers and hands are like vice grips dude. Pansy.
That’s funny I’m glad you enjoyed it. Lol 😂
Just did this not lighter doesn’t work infront of shifter but radio seems to work
This worked for me. Maybe look at your fuses

Mine does this too, did you find a fix?

My sound comes and goeS off. It makes like an.impact electric noise
Have you fixed this yet? I cut the wire and it still pops and goes out
@@luistorres2544 you ever fix it?
@@expiredwater5064 Once that happens, the best thing you can do is replace the whole radio with a better one. The stock radios are garbage

lmao like if the car got emp'ed

What Size bolts in the drill did u use
It’s a 7mm metric socket. Hope this help. And I hope you consider subscribing
Do you lose the emergency flashing lights after cuting the white wire?
Speelcheck must not work

which could be the bad part? the radio receiver or that power bank (idk what its called)
@@HarolitosVideos I’d have to re watch the video bro, it’s been awhile I’d probably just replace the head unit
what if the sound nor screen works?

I’ve bought multiple OEM stereos that all busted. Cutting that white wire might only make getting a working after market stereo even more difficult…
Hazards wont work if you cut the white wire! Might want to check before giving out bogus bad info!
Yo lo corte pero no pasó nada de nada alguien sabe qué pasa si lo cortas para que sirve ese clable blanco
Pudiste solucionar ese problema?
Ive heard that when u do this you loose your hazard light button is that true??
I don’t know. I’ll try it tomorrow and let you know.

It is true

Did this actually work for anyone lmk ?
Doesnt work on a camaro 2013 1LS. Just messed up my ac. Had to fix the wire back
Yeah don’t work on the v6
Worked perfectly on my 2014 v6 LS. Ac, lighter and everything works. It 100 % fixed the issue for me
I have a 2014 LS V6 ... What wire is that? I read that the hazards won't work. Did it kill your hazards?
No this didn't do anything to mine
❤ty😊
