Jason Mantzoukas is pretty much the go-to sitcom crazy dude. Rafi from The League, Dennis Feinstein from Parks & Rec, Adrian Pimento from Brooklyn Nine-Nine… The list goes on.
I see people wondering why Mindy has a medium place, considering the good place never fought for anything. This is because It wasn't the good place who brought up the topic on what to do with Mindy, it was the judge and accountants When Eleanor, Jason, and Janet Mindy says "that's the nicest and only thing anybody has ever said to me in 30 years," When the group meets up the judge, she also says "I haven't had a case in 30 years, so I'm suuuuuuuuupeer bored..." Finally they never said that the good place fought for Mindy, she just said "I woke up, and turns out THEY'VE been fighting over me for a while," she never specified who "they" was. This is what I'm guessing happened: The people in accounting saw that Mindy was about to make something that would get her a ton of "forking" points, and they say that a couple billion accountants calculate where the person goes, half decided good place, since she was trying to do something amazing, half decides bad place since she did a lot of horrible deeds, the case goes to the judge and she decides Mindy needs a medium place so it would be fair, and brought in a good place and bad place architect.

You got it worng. Is not taht she was the best human in hundreds of years. In fact she was SUPPOSED to go to the Bad Place. That had a positive effect on Mindy's score ince her actions helped a lot of people even after her death. So they decided on a medium place. It was a coincidental occurrence.
Her program didn't acumilate bad points tho, she had already all those bad points, her program accumulated good points, i don't really see a plot hole On that note, she wasn't the best human being in hundreds of years, she was the only good human being that didn't die old nor french in hundreds of years

I love this show, but seems like a bit of an oversight that under the old system, Doug Forcett would have been forced to the bad place regardless, but somehow Mindy St. Claire's sudden and brief change in personality after a lifetime of mediocrity got her her own medium place.
His motivation was corrupt. He was doing things that would earn him points, but he was doing it to avoid The Bad Place. Mindy's idea was truly altruistic, so in that moment, she was the best person.

To beat the scanners
That’s real baby. REAL NASTY! Hahahah gets me every time!
The show needed more of Mindy, especially in the last season
This shows has so many epic actors
Derek blowing bubbles into his drink, kills me every time.
The random stuff in his glasses is one the best subtle jokes in the series
This is the only show I actually remember all the characters names in
I definetely feel like being in the medium place right now
Definitely the bad place.
When you're just watching the Good Place clips and you find an iconic meme: 8:15
Sometimes in other series or movies I found Kirsten grated with me, but The Good Place changed all that, I give it a 9 out of 10.
Technically most of the 4th season takes place in the middle place
The medium place sounds like heaven to me idk
Based on the other options it seems like the best to me too
Literally half the cast of Brooklyn 99 is in here
I was really happy for Mindy when Derek showed up with bags of cocaine
Why is heaven always a boring suburb in these sitcoms
Well it wasn’t necessary boring. It was just too perfect and they were able to do all they wanted to do and that’s when it became stale.
Hollywood is Satan's playground.
Why not push a satanic/Luciferian agenda?
What do you mean by "these sitcoms?" I've never heard of a another sitcom with a similar premise
This isn't heaven at all. It's hell
@@danceteacherrlb the medium place*
Deriks martini: * ALL OLIVES* 😂😂👏🤦♀️
The fact that Adam Scott is wearing a leather jacket with the Deadpool logo is strange
Make Michael thinks he's the one in the bad place that technically did work
The Medium Place sounds like Hell. Poor Mindy.
Ok, yes, there is the plot hole of Mindy being the best human in hundreds of years, but look at it from the other side, he wasn't alive to have the bad points that his program probably accumulated, she got those points because of the idea
You got it worng. Is not taht she was the best human in hundreds of years. In fact she was SUPPOSED to go to the Bad Place. But before she died she pulled out all her money and she was gonna start a charity. Then she died. But her sister(or friend or something like taht I don't remember) knew if her plans and took taht money, started the charity, and raised millions of dollars and helped a LOT if people. That had a positive effect on Mindy's score ince her actions helped a lot of people even after her death. So they decided on a medium place. It was a coincidental occurrence.
@@sheevpalpatine6139 hey, you didn't read the entire comment, appreciate the answer though
Her program didn't acumilate bad points tho, she had already all those bad points, her program accumulated good points, i don't really see a plot hole
On that note, she wasn't the best human being in hundreds of years, she was the only good human being that didn't die old nor french in hundreds of years
@@Adrian-uw8gv yeah, but you are forgetting, even good people are going to the bad place, like that one dude that got flowers for his sick grandma without knowing that helps destroy the environment and helps CEOs and stuff like that. Maybe the company buys food in bulk and that adds bad points for destroying the environment with transportation, or the producers and farmers are racist of something
That would only be a plot hole if time was linear.
Maximum Derek
Ah yes, the three major alignments. Good, bad, and... medium?
obsessed with mindy shes so great
This show got cut off way too soon but I'm glad it did... Prob would have gotten ruined otherwise... But I still miss it sooo bad
It didn't get cut off, they wrote out 4 seasons and purposefully ended it.
Ok bro... Not my point
that welcome to eternal mediocrity line was delivered really well.
"call it ma lookin hole". Air... I have none, 🤣
“No one who managed a boy band“ lmao
“WHO ARE YOU!?”
*“I’m Janet!”* 👋
Okay, "Those childhood bullies who said i would never get tenure" is a hilarious line
“You guys have known each other a really long time.”
Mindy "Oh no, it's my only copy, don't..."
You’re just like those childhood bullies who said I’d never get Tenure 😂😂😂😂
I know it’s never gonna happen but I’d still love to see a Derek and Steve (from borderlands) crossover to some extent. (If you know you know lol)
