Not going to lie. This really humbled me. I came from a low income family, and anyone who came from such a background knows you have to work twice as hard to get out of it. Ive been working since age 17 and have had 2 jobs along with school for quite a while. I’m no longer in the same income bracket but I self reflected and kind of was salty about how I worked my life away. This reminded me that some ppl start with even less than I did, but are more grateful than I am. Bless him, I hope he continues to do great things and spread his joy and enthusiasm.

He should be grateful. Everyone needs to know the Teamsters are lying to everyone about UPSers not being compensated. A FT driver at top pay makes 41.51hr. Vacation, paid Holidays, free insurance for the whole family. Very good insurance with a low deductible and a pension. Im a 33-year UPSER. FYI PT employees don't make the same pay but have mostly the same benefits.

Wow! An anti-Union UPSer of 33 years that defends corporate UPS and doesn’t support his brethren in browns… hmmm kinda sounds like an insider threat or undercover management on a PR campaign planting disinformation on social media. Lmao some conspiracy theories do make sense…

As a naturalized citizen, I wish every American would know the feeling of being able to immigrate here, going through the process/learning the history, taking the test, becoming a citizen, grateful the privileges, and upholding the duties of an American, all the while never forgetting why.
    Best wishes to this family!

So sad that CBS left out the foundation of his happiness. In the video they selectively left out clips where he explicitly states the contrast from this country to COMMUNIST Cuba. But openly criticizing Communism is a bridge too far for left wing media. They just make it another “I’m a happy immigrant” heart warming story. There’s a lot more to this story, specifically: the system he immigrated from! I urge you to find the unedited video of him receiving his first paycheck. It’s an inspiring reminder that we must conserve the freedoms we have and keep government LIMITED!

When I became an American citizen, it was one of the happiest days of my life. Going through the whole process, learning the history of this wonderful country. It is so sad to see how many Americans who had the privilege to be born and raised in the USA don't appreciate what they have, they just take it for granted. Maybe that's the problem; maybe they should go and live in countries like Cuba, Venezuela, and all those socialist/communist countries, and then maybe, they might appreciate what they have here. May God bless and protect this wonderful Nation.
