Not doing the due diligence on the Pokemon they _did_ include, especially in what is meant to be their continued push for a proper transition into a big open world Pokemon title, is _not._
I mean, c'mon now. Let's not forget what an unrepentantly broken mess these were on release. Effort wasn't exactly worn on their sleeves.
@@trustme2674 I agree, but Gamefreak has always been famous for the disgusting technical and not only the state of the games. And there is no point in justifying them for this. I just wrote down why the animations degraded. (If there are any mistakes in the text, I apologize, I use a translator)
@@MagnificantSasquatch I believe Creatures Inc. is the one in charge of all animations and models, not Gamefreak. Not sure what exactly point I'm trying to make, but just wanted to correct the fact. Although if Creatures is lazy too that makes 2/3rd of the owners of The Pokemon Company not caring about the quality which makes sense why Nintendo can't force a quality control thing(Also thinking about it 80% of Pokemon revenue comes from merch, and Creatures seems to be more in charge of that than Gamefreak so they have even more incentive to be lazy on the games itself).
It's a real shame they got rid of so many of the animations for the starters' signature moves. I thought they made made the starters extra unique.
So... Now Groudon is a starter legendary 😂
More like Typhlosion inherited Eruption from him after Groudon got Precipice Blades
PBR's Eruption, SM Spirit Shackle, and SwSh Snipe Shot will always be the best.
1:38 SPIKY SHELL DEFEND!?!
I can't believe that I'm saying this, but sword and shield look so much better than scarlet and violet
Umm really sword and shield r not good scarlet and violet is better then sword and shield and you won’t change my opinion
This hurts to watch. Especially from Cinderace
My brother was amazed that all the Hisuian starters kept their signature moves relatively untouched. I told him they just copy pasted them from PLA to S/V. Its sad that others weren't so lucky. Regular Decidueye comes to mind with Spirit Shackle or Cinderace with Pyro Ball. Loved both Urshifu forms signature moves as well but now they are but shadows of what they were in Sword and Shield.
They murdered everything lmao
Anyone else noticed Maractus to have 566/283 HP at 1:44?
Only after I read this 😂
I hope the next Pokémon game is not an empty open world game, I would like to have a Pokémon game in style like "Links Awakening" :D
The fact people still complain about these ganes looking bad is astonishing because Game Freak had to re-animate all the pokemon, give them all new textures, while also making a entire map that is free roam all the while needing to code in the special way these games raids work while also texturing everything we see all within a 3 year time limit forced on yhem by the Pokemon Company mind you and given they never had to do these things since gen 6 Id say the game works better then expected..
if this game had longer than 3 years to be created id bet these games would just be the best games we had since gen 5 imo because the story compared to gen 6 onward and gen 3 and bellow this games story is beyond awesome and since they will have most pokemon textured I would bet that when gen 10 comes around the game will be better looking and work properly..
they really did dirty to decidueye, greninja battle bond form, inteleon, cinderace signature moves
5:58 sniper water shot attack
RIP Ash-Greninja
GF should just give everything an extra year to bake, games, cards, mechandise and anime
With SV and BDSP they were bad, and we still bought them
We can wait, finish your passion project
Idk why SV still feels like an unfinished game(as of date) how is a past generation game has better animations(for the most part) than the current one? That just wrong, man.
I mean for the animation, I think they changed certain ones so they would be faster, and less disturbing in the open world in SV I guess. But for the unfinished feels of the game, that’s just cause GameFreak don’t know how to properly develope a high quality game with their lack of people, time, and the fact they are working on a full on console rather than handhelds.
Becuase it was a rushed game. GF aren't given the proper time needed to polish their games
@@LuckyOwI777 blame TCP for that.
@@user-kl6kv7ii5s Yep. Specifically, Nintendo. I'm sure if it were up to GF, they would love to take some more time to polish their games. even three months more would make a difference
@@LuckyOwI777 yh
As the saying goes, “Two steps forward, three steps back.”
I wish they could update the Water Shuriken with a twist combination (just like sunny day and solar beam or rising the power of fire moves) imagine using double team and next turn you use water shuriken and it will have a new animation also rising the evasion of Greninja
Ah yes, Groudon… my favorite starter
EVERYTHING WAS NERFED! 😢
I love how they made a single game compatible for ash greninja
Where's Delphox wand ? 2:37
Gamefreak did Greninja's Battle Bond dirty in Scarlet & Violet
2:45 WATER SHURIKEN ATTACK
Top grossing Franchise IN THE WORLD ladies and Gentlemen 🤡
The Hisuian Signature moves just don’t look as cool when the pokemon stays in its spot in SV. Like Samurott’s Ceaseless Edge or Decidueye’s Triple Arrows look so much better because of how they go move up into the opponents face
Offtopic if i remember correctly retaliate had the coolest animation in gen 6(ORAS)
Spirit shackle got absolutely slaughtered 😭
1:07 SLASH WILL MU SHELL
one of the things that I hate that they removed was the hisui decidueye and sammarott how ever you spell it actually walked up towards the opponet and attacked instead of attacking from the distance.
The battle animations in PLA is the best the series has ever seen. Its a damn shame that GF went backwards.
Nah PLA was the beginning of the end honestly. Many animations were extremely simplified from SwSh, and while they made up for it with the Pokémon actually moving around and making physical contact, it’s the reason so many animations are now what they are in S/V.
Bruh, the Kalos Started and ESPECIALLY Cinderace got done dirty.
3:10 THAT IS ONE HELL OF A BULKY DRIFLOON
Aceelgor is level 1
That makes sense i didnt checked accelgors lvl
Are the Elemental Hyper Beams in SV? I could have sworn they weren't
Tm's now
Find them as Tms somewhere and you can make more if you have enough materials.
They massacred my boys Ash Greninja's ability, cinderace and inteleon signature moves, chesnaught spiky shield, and decidueye spirit shackle in scarlet & violet
Rip good signature move animations they only last the games they where introduced in so sad
ah yes, groudon my favourite starter
that deciduee is an absolute crime
Infernal Parade: a starter version of Hex as they both have 3× base power if its stab against a status ailmented target.
It's not terrible But we can see the big difference with SV
The no Ash-Greninja was sad, and the lack of creativity in Pyro Ball was disappointing. Eruption does look great tho
Very disappointing that it took one game to ruin the starters from other Pokemon games
Watched only a bit but clearly that first arcanine has the Intimidate ability and not flash fire
Ah yes groudon my favorite starter
I think they should give signature moves or exclusive move available in only a select fews movepool like spikey shield, blast burn, pyro ball, mystical fire etc special lil cinematics with the ability to turn off the cinematic animation in the settings
I’m mad there’s no more cool animations for the moves in S/V
The quality of the moves get worse every new generation comes
Bro I can't believe the miss of , the shield of chesnaught, decidueye's arrow animation, cinderace and inteleon animation, gamefreak, how much did it cost you?
i dont understand why they made the animations worse for S/V, all they had to do was copypasta.
what a pathetic company
You have to consider that SV don't have disable animations, still, don't justify
@@nickolasperazzo8254 and why did they remove that
@@jimmyjohn6479 Make our life harder? Maybe because of VGC? Who knows
