Thanks so much for this encouraging and enthusiastic take on our ONE INSTANT b&w film prototypes. We certainly appreciate your input and testing.
I just wanted to mention that the new film will almost certainly be quicker than ISO 25, and potentially less 'sepia'. However, according to the 20x24 guys, there is some control to be had in the tonality department... from neutral to warm.... so I'd love to hear people's preferences on this aspect, and maybe we can experiment a bit in development...
Also, I love seeing an Intrepid camera on screen! Big up to them; I really admire their work.

Hey Chris! Awesome to see you on here. I personally love the sepia aspect and think it's a value-add since sepia isn't being offered by Polaroid/Fuji. Something different! I feel that's what it's all about. And this Intrepid is a beautiful monster, makes me want to leave it open just for staring-purposes, but I know better. Happy New Year!
I really love the Sepia tone! You can't get any other instant film with that tone right now so I think that it would be cool seeing you stay toward that tonality.

I might be a bit biased but I loved how sepia the shot turned out, the warmer the better, such a unique effect! We have a portrait on polaroid b&w 8x10 that has parts of it that *almost* looks sepia and I think it would look so nice in that format...any chance for one instant in 8x10? 😉
Hey Chris! I just watched Ben's video and the film results are just amazing! the sepia tones definitely give them an extra sense of hand craftsmanship which I believe makes it even more valuable. I personally like the tones and as Ben says, since polaroid / fuji don't offer a real sepia film, this can be a good chance to come up with a very special product. Mock! Can’t believe the book still hasn’t arrived, the post is absolutely mental. Completely absurd, and yet I’ll order something from Japan and it arrives in one day. Who the hell knows what’s going on there. Thank you for your patience! Regarding not eating for a month to buy B&W One Instant - yeah that sounds like a great plan, stick with that 😂. Discord can be tough to keep up with from a global sense but it’s easy enough to sort of drop into a conversation or start your own on anything that comes to mind, and sort of use it that way! Hope you had a wonderful holiday with the fam my friend!

I find it very funny that I had a polaroid and an instax camera for 3 years!!! And I casually got into film during a global pandemic🤠. I hope everyone has a happy new year and I am sorry to all the people that have lost there loved ones, struggled with there mental health or that have struggled financially. Remember that just because this year is over doesn’t mean COVID-19 will magically disappear, please where your masks and stay safe! ❤️
Very true Joc, we’ve still got a long road ahead requiring just as much carefulness as before. The vaccine still feels so far away. Lauren already got vaccinated, which is amazing and I’m so glad she is safe, but it’s currently daunting to imagine the difficulty of vaccinating enough Americans for everyone to be safe again. The wait is driving me mad, almost more than before. Hope you are able to have a happy new year and stay safe!!

Supersense has been looking amazing recently, love all the shots from recent months. Unfort they are no longer working with New55, which they temporarily were (sort of a sponsorship I’d say) but that didn’t last too long. Hope New55 can scale and get their order fulfilled!

Do you know what are the plans for the B&W in the future after the experimental run?
They are producing a limited run with the materials remaining. Supersense/One Instant is constantly exploring the availability of new chemistry and processes to develop fresh material for the long-run. I'd just keep posted on that!
Why is it that polaroid pack film chemistry has to be "found" rather than have new chemistry made? I know SX-70 film is 160 iso, and pack film cameras (at least the ones I have) support 150 iso film. Is it not possible to just reshape the negative and create pack film with the same SX-70 film chemistry?
I would absolutely love to be able to get my hands on some chemical pods that would fit inside a roll of Swinger type 20 film. All I need to do is replace the pods as it is common on type 20 that they all leak over time. I’ve tried with an integral pod but the chemicals just aren’t the same and I didn’t get an image despite good chemical coverage when pulling the image out.
It’s all consensual, as we say! Lol!

Hi Vincent, you will need a packfilm camera. Something like the Polaroid 210, EE100, Colorpack II, Model 100, etc. They are very common to find in thrift shops or antiques stores for real cheap.

Expired stuff from the old Polaroid days!
All of Supersense (Bad for Business) is fragile, messy, and unpredictable.
Have never had a bad shot with it or one that failed to function like it should. Might want to give it another shot, mate
@@InAnInstant a quick UA-cam/Reddit search might show you what I’m talking about. Leaves you with a lot to desire.
Have you shot it yourself? Seems the pod construction and P7 chemicals have gotten drastically more stable. Don’t believe everything you see on UA-cam, except everything on this channel of course.
