I love my new Cosori Dual Basket, and I love how much cheaper is was to buy than the Ninja would have been. Another Cosori bonus is that you can see whats happening in each draw. Thank you for your awesome videos, you helped me to decide what to buy.
Just wanted to say that your videos are probably the best quality I have seen on UA-cam. They are like BBC's Click and The Gadget show. Really excellent quality and informative!
Thank you for making a video specifically for my question. We have since decided on the Cosori. At the moment, we're still a bit disappointed that everything takes quite a long time (sometimes twice as long as the Air Fryer indication on the food packaging). Let's see if we'll still be happy with it.
So far we have tried, for example, sweet potato fries, chicken nuggets, and breaded mini schnitzels. They all came directly from the freezer. Instead of the specified 11 minutes, they were in the air fryer for 22 minutes plus preheating and they still weren't crispy.
@@cristina_ods Hey, no, I’m not overfilling them. It just seems to take longer than what’s stated on the packaging. But that’s fine for us because the result is better than in a regular oven.
Bit late to the party but! Had the Instant brand, Ninja and now the Cosori and the Cosori is definitely the best so far, The Instant was very good, the Ninja tended to overcook stuff outside but leave inside under temp, so had to turn the temp down and cook longer for the inside, so actually cost more to run than both the others in the end, the Cosori is just as quick, cost least to run, and so far has cooked everything perfectly, it's so easy to use I really can't fault it in any way,
Thanks Clara - if/when our oven gives up the ghost its an air fryer as a replacement for sure. My wifes a vegiterian and I'm a confirmed meat eater so a dual basket would be ideal. Our stumbling block is space! Our 1950's kitchen is too small and lacks worktop space ... oh well maybe soon eh😃😃
Isn't the Ninja saying with "both" drawers runing it is 2470w but Cosori are only saying that one drawer is 1750w. That is why you're getting half wattage on your meter with the Ninja. Good video though. BTW i'm still using my Ninja to make toast 🙂
No, Cosori uses full power when only one basket is in use and Ninja uses less than full power when one is in use, Cosori arguably might be slower cooking when two baskets are in use and Ninja wouldn’t
I am interested in the ninja AF451 with a digital probe. Do you have a video on it? Also, do you know what the temperature range is, lowest and highest? I can't find that on the product information on Amazon.
I have a review of the AF300, which is very similar but smaller capacity and without the heat probe. All 4 ninja air fryers I have tried had the same temperature range which is 40c - 240c and I see no reason why the AF451 would differ. I hope that helps a little!
Thanks for these reviews! I’m desperately trying to figure out between these two for Black Friday deals and still undecided! Could the Ninja be only half the wattage because you are using one basket? Also coin trying to figure out if the consori having more surface area really gives you that much more capacity, won’t the ninja effectively still hold more and cook better if you shake a couple of times? Thanks!
I'm guessing you have already seen this video? ua-cam.com/video/qSOXh0MNf2o/v-deo.html The important thing is if you are tossing up between Ninja and Cosori there really isn't a "wrong" one, both are great, go with whichever is calling to you!
Idk ill keep using the COSORI but i feel like it lacks power im so used to my old fryer maybe single basket airfryers are just more powerful than duals my COSORI takes maybe an extra 5-10 mins to cook things even with max temp do you think ninja will have more power? debating if I should return it to get the ninja instead since it looks like it cook things faster.
This is my first dual air fryer and i really do enjoy cooking 2 things at the same time. So maybe i just need get used to the timings and understand it wont be as fast as a single air fryer.
Hey , i m in big dilemma which air fryer to buy. I m thinking of Ninja af400 or Cosori dual basket 8.5l Which one will you recomend me and why? We are family of 4 ( 2+2 ) with 2 amall kids and we never had an air fryer before. I will be very happy if you help me to chose Best Regards!
Hi, first of all they are both great air fryers! There is no wrong answer. I own both and prefer the Cosori. This video will help too… Is the Cosori Dual Basket the best family air fryer for 2024? ua-cam.com/video/xrKMTGarBBs/v-deo.html
@@CandidClara Thank you! I've watched most of your videos already. My concern about the Cosori air fryer is that it is 8.5l and 1700w compare to 9.5l and almost 2500w. Both are on almost the same price so this does not matter. May be i will go for the Cosori
This video is misleading. You’re comparing the wattage of a single basket in the Cosori with that of both baskets in the Ninja. OK in terms of cooking time this is not especially important while in terms of cost to run it may also not be accurate. Just looking at peak watt usage tells us nothing as the heating elements must turn off when the selected temperature is reached so what is needed is the total power usage for the duration of the cooking time. The Cosori has a more powerful element so heats up quicker. If it cooks the food through better this is likely due to the thermostat regulating the heat better (turning the element on and off more frequently), fan efficiency and/or air circulation. Overall I find your videos helpful but this one is disappointing.
I think you are slightly confused. To begin let me clarify that I used only one drawer on both models doing these tests. (you can see this clearly if you rewatch the video) Secondly the purpose of the video as I explained at the beginning was to answer the question of whether Cosori's lower advertised wattage means it takes longer to cook food than the Ninja, it was not about energy consumption.
Perhaps electricity works differently around you, but I can tell you that in Canada, no small appliance can be sold with such a high wattage, simply because the absolute maximum you can suck out of a standard 15 Amp 120 Volt circuit is a theoretical 1875W... and no one builds machines that would deliberately push a circuit breaker close to jumping. So I can tell you that my Ninja 10 qt (the one with the larger baskets compared to the 8 qt) uses up several hundred watts less than even 1875W (even 1700 is a fire hazard in older houses with outdated wiring)... and I guess if the current was 240V it would be a different story (I suspect this is the explanation, because I hear that Europe has a lot of places with 240V running on every outlet for even the smallest tasks). But only large appliances use 240V here. So I guess my point is this (if you're still reading): if you are going to be talking about Watts, you should make absolutely sure that whoever watches your video knows upfront whether or not your devices specs and ratings are applicable to the country they live in. Sadly, this video will make very little sense to a North American (or Japanese) audience.
In Europe the voltage is 230/240 and the max amp is 16 thus the max power from one fuse/socket is 3680W @230V and 3840W @240V. Ninja and Cosori probably downgraden the power for 110 and 120V areas.

Yes, that would make total sense. Weird that the Cosori is not the same though!
cosori is far better i gave the ninja to a family member.
and you are still paying LOL
I was about to buy cosori and this new info comes up😂.. the informations are aiming to confuse us more rather then helping us decide
Hello. COSORI apparently states the consumption for one basket. NINJA for two baskets. Is that correct? Does this mean that COSORI is misleading?
No, Cosori uses full power when only one basket is in use and Ninja uses less than full power when one is in use, Cosori arguably might be slower cooking when two baskets are in use and Ninja wouldn’t

Are you in the UK or US? The models are different (but look the same) being underpowered seems to be more of a problem in the US
US but its not too much of a problem anymore I just understand when two is on at the same time food takes longer instead of just use one basket
the ninjas double basket is so narrow!! is there a double basket that is a little wider???
Do you mean the basket on the af300 or af400?

The wattage makes no difference (I made a video about this too! 😆🫣) and the size difference isn’t noticeable, but as I said they are both good!
