I would love to have my little place all to myself and not have to worry about cleaning up after someone else and doing what I want whenever I want. I WOULD LOVE IT!
@@CommandoPookie same. Well most days on the husband lol. But I’d take some days like this. I wouldn’t even be greedy. Just twice a month. Then I’ll go back to slobbery toddler kisses and baby bottles.
I lived alone for 4 years, and I think it's something everyone should do at some point in their life if they can. The only downside is crying alone at night in bed 😅
@@DaveedaLocaI loved it. But also hated it. I moved to a completely new town, like 6 hours drive from my hometown, I moved there because I got a job opportunity... It was great. Literally your own little place where you can chill and do things that make you happy. But at the same time, I was so lonely. Good thing I had my dog with me. ☺️💕 but yeah... Overall, it was such a great experience.
I use an inexpensive watercolor paintbrush for going after mealybugs. It holds enough alcohol to do the job, the soft bristles get into places a cotton swab can't, and it's reusable.
For your desk, try using olive oil, rubbing alcohol can mess up the finishing on wood, but olive oil "restores" it. It worked for the wood paneling I have in my sunroom. I doubt it could make it worse. 💚💚💚
I love this so much. I usually don't even watch day in the life videos because I prefer all about plants but this was so down to earth and peaceful. Love it. You rock girl.
Hi Fern I'm glad you are feeling better, and Olive is so precious 💖 getting caught up with watering is a chore but very satisfying. Take care Fern Love You
Oh girl we are same same! Slowly coming out of a very long depressive episode. Missed your recommendation on the sheets but got a good ole Target set, potted some cebu blue props which look amazing in my room. Found thrips everyyywhere so fingers crossed. Only 1 out of the 140 plants I have died in the time so not too bad! I hope you continue to climb up and have many happy days to come 💕 you've definitely helped inspire me to follow your lead 😚💚
Oh also i was watching one of your other videos were you mention that you’re looking for one of those scented orchids and I have two and would love to send you one!
Loving all the uploads , I’ve been home not feeling well trying to get myself out of the slump so I’m so excited to see your videos it truly gives me some major motivation ❤❤❤❤ xoxo
I can empathize.. I’ve been in a rut both physically and mentally and find watching these videos so calming and they ground me, reminding me that life doesn’t have to be done so fast…. Thank you and also watch all the time:) ❤
I have my Florida (green) on a bamboo pole, but more key is I had to “convince” 😂 my jungle boogie to become one with a pole, very gradually (from a “sprawling” growth pattern like this) I think you should be able to train your Ghost to a bamboo or a plank over time without having to chop it. They seem to be very responsive to environmental change so I’d bet he’d get in line really quickly
An easier way to water moss poles, drill 3 or 4 small holes in the cap of a pop bottle, fill with water, turn upside down on your pole, it will drain slowly. Holes in cap must be touching the moss to drain. I enjoy your videos.
I was obsessed with your trailing jade for months before I was finally able to get one of my own and I love it so much. It took a few months but then it finally started to take off. I also have never really been that interested in Krimson Queen, but yours makes me want one! I would pot it together with my Krimson Princess.

I love the multiflora that’s the first Hoya that bloomed for me. It had a dozen buds for a couple weeks. Getting bigger then they started falling off, all except for one. Iris still in bloom got over a week. It’s a beautiful flower. The nectar is sweet tasting.
It's Saturday morning, I'm watching your video in my couch with my doggy and a hot coffee and it just feels so good. Gonna do plant stuff after that of course. Lots of love from Bordeaux Fern 🤩🐶
What are the grow lights you used on your bed that you're loving?? I'm in serious need of some good affordable lights😬 any other recommendations would be great! I'm in the UK Love your videos💕
Not sure what your desk is made of but you can get rid of water ring on wood by putting a towel over the spot, then running an iron over it. Be careful but it works!
I had mealies on a couple of my living room plants. After spot treating all the mealies I could find, I sprayed the whole plant, both sides of the leaves with the isopropyl alcohol. It dried quite quickly then I added systemic to the soil after that and sprayed with neem oil and soapy water. I haven’t seen any new mealies.
The bedsheets are soooo nice!!! Highly considering on creating my own lil palette and upgrading mine 😍 so glad you’re feeling better bb. Missed your pretty little face 🥰 and Ollie’s too! 🥹
I got my first moss pole finally set up for a philodendron Mayoi and I am so excited. I have definitely been inspired by you to give it a shot and now I want like 4.
I think you should try to tie the ghost to a bamboo stick and as it starts to straighten then repot it onto a moss pole. Maybe put the light on the opposite side as the new growth so it will try to move towards it
@@wildfern no problem! Does your discount still work for thiccly? I found cheaper ones just like them on Amazon but I need to extend the ones I already have! Or take them apart.. but what a pain 😂

The one for my Milsbo tall is a Kasa smart strip, but it has stopped working 😭 It won't connect to the app anymore, which is so sad. So I have to manually click it off and on lol. I'm going to try to fiddle with it again and if not I will have to replace it. I loved it so much when it was working!
