This song was released in 2007. I did really like when he song, he had an unique sound. Best way to describe Chester is he Sings like an angel and scream like a demon.
Listen to qwerty live version that was in 2007
@kevin pierson Ye thx for correcting me I am dumb
10 years before...
Yes, sing like an angel, scream like a demon : "Hybrid Theory"
@@-ryen-6273 on that day Chris benoit suicide after 10 yrs 2017 Chester
I cried when I found out about what happened to Chester. Linkin Park was one of the first bands I loved when I was a kid.
Hybrid Theory dropped when I was 17. Perfect album at the perfect time when you're a young punky kid lol.
I sobbed so much My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, and Linkin Park were the bands that got me through SO MUCH. People knew when I was listening to them that I needed some space
‘Waiting for the end’ is another LP song that gave whole other meaning after chester’s passing. The lyrics are heartbreaking
Lyrics are about a breakup though, but easily interpreted in a darker way
also "shadow of the day"
I suggest "Shadow Of the Day".
Melodically heartbreaking.
Linkin park saved my life .Chester voice ❤️
It's 10 years between this album and Chester's passing. He battled mental unhealth/depression and addiction for the longest. Mike Shinoda is the only band member with writing credits though (he wrote most of LP's material). But he often drew inspiration from conversations with the band, so def could be influenced by Chester's struggles
I feel like Mike gets shit on a lot when it comes to credit.. He is still writing great music and nobody seems to pay attention or give him any credit for all the great songs he wrote for LP including the song in this video..
@@arcajeth626 yeah, he is a really skilled artist! He's great at writing lyrics, producing, and creating visual art. He's also a pretty great rapper. And yeah, his huge contrution seems to have fallen in the shadow quite a bit.
It makes me sad to hear him sing.
But I am a Chester fan for life. I have a history of being saved by Linkin Park and his voice.
"Easier To Run" will break your heart.
And not just the music Industry. The whole world! His kids and wife! We all lost something special that day on the 20th of July 2017.
I had been anticipating new stuff from Linkin Park as I had been binge listening to their newer albums, prior to this day. I was literally heart broken
As someone who suffers from anxiety i can relate to Chester in so many ways . I wish i could reach out and touch him and tell him to carry on brother stay strong 💪
This song is from their third album "Minutes To Midnight" from 2007. The whole album literally takes me back to the sixth, seventh and eighth grade of elementary school. Their songs are unique and I do not believe that a band similar to them will appear in the next century, but I believe that these guys have certainly left a deep mark on the entire 21st century ! ❤ RIP Chester.
4:58 This song came out in 2007. We lost Chester in 2017. I'm so thankful I saw them in 2001. Papercut was their very first single, and My December was never a single or played on the radio. Both are quite good. Crawling is probably still my favorite though. Even back then a lot of their songs had to deal with struggling with mental health.
Many don't know My December.
But that song might be the most important song in my life.
The summer I found it many years ago I heard it a lot.
And I heard it in different times ever since.
Part of the lyrics is used on one my tattoos with a double meaning to something else.
Which live version do you like from crawling? The most real to original one like milan 2001? Or his softer voice like milton keys (road to revolution)? Or one more light version?
@@mattijohansen3471 I love my December ❤️❤️
I saw them in 2011 :)
One of their deep cuts off of Meteora is Easier to Run. A week after Chester died, that one came up on my randomizer and I listened to it for 2 days straight. It hit me so much differently than it had in the past. Absolutely heart wrenching.... Totally worth a listen or 10.
One of my favourite songs, so powerful and emotional.
I want this song played at my funeral. It's a wonderful message, especially to someone who knows that they have fought mental illness their whole life. "Life is a battle, especially when you never feel alive." A therapist quoted that to me, and it's true.
The more popular Linkin Park songs are from the first 2 albums, so if you want to keep digging and disco ver new LP songs that you dont know its easier to find them looking into the latest albums Living Things, The Haunting Party and One More Light.
I could recommend:
My December
Shadow of The Day
Lost in the Echo
I'll be Gone
Roads Untraveled
Castle of Glass
Until its Gone
Final Masquerade
Heavy
Good Goodbye
Sorry for Now
One More Light
By the way, the last album was totally a goodbye letter if you pay attention to the lyrics after.
To me this one of his most goodbye like songs. Still hurts to this day
This song was all about humanity its about to end conveying last message
Thanks, Biss, you gave this song a new and deeper meaning for me. I hope you react to "Linkin Park - Rolling In The Deep (iTunes Festival 2011)" and "Last Show Chester Bennington Linkin Park One More Light Birmingham 06.07.17".
RIP Chester we miss you so much !
Chester, my brother, I love you. ❤️❤️
We miss you chester😭
can't stop watching your rection videos❤
After so these years, suddenly I felt the urge to listen to this song in particular on my phone. As I was thinking about someone. Then I came to UA-cam to watch the video. And just like that there is a feeling of sadness of losing him. All his songs relates to me in time. Keanu Reeves in the late night show of Stephen Colbert during the promotion of his movie John Wick 3 said "the ones who loves us will us". We're remembering him always.
The Catalyst is an amazing song, one of their best, and it's a really interesting one because it's equal parts Chester and Mike on vocals, which is a really beautiful mix. It's powerful and evocative and if you don't know it I'd really recommend it.
This song follows Given Up on the Minutes to Midnight album - I still can't listen to them back to back. Tears my heart out.
It has always felt like Chester knew where his journey would take him, he knew how things would end. He spent his entire career telling all of us about what was killing him inside, his demons, his pain and slowly over the years telling us all goodbye. Telling us to remember his journey, and to do our best to help someone else who is on a similar journey, and to change the ending, not only for them, but for him.
Every time I watch him preform given up live, I feel terrible that none of us could tell. I try to think about that when people act out around me or if a friend goes quiet
Some more Linkin Park songs that I think are very emotional are Shadow Of The Day, Breaking The Habit, Iridescent and also Blackbirds (can only be found on UA-cam bc its a demo). Love your reaction to this one!
Across the Line is one of the darkest Linkin Park songs that I've ever heard. Linkin Park actually uploaded it onto their UA-cam channel.
Together we made it is a very powerfull linkin park song that deserves a reaction. Also the catalyst is up there as well.
Powerful one! Very nice reaction and words from you :)
This has always been one of my favorite songs and listening to it again after everything that happened just gives it a whole new meaning. It's so weird how you put yourselves in the songs and think about your own situations. But then after tragedy, you start to realize how much it meant and reflected the actual artist themselves! Even though this came out well before what happened, it was written by someone who wanted to help others and needed help themselves. This just makes me want to hug everyone!
Obviously, I love their hits but the whole Minutes to Midnight Album is my favorite. It was the first album of theirs I had and I got it as a Christmas present when it came out unexpectedly. I didn't even realize my parents knew I liked Linkin Park! My dad even let me play the album in the living room and we all listened to it and he enjoyed it a lot and he isn't typically into "my music". I love the whole album so much but I think my absolute favorites are Leave Out All The Rest, Shadow of the Day, What I've Done, and The Little Things Give You Away
When I saw you were reacting to this song I new I had to be here. There’s a lot of emotion to this song and it’s a great sing along . I’m happy you reacted to linkin park for all there fans! We appreciate it .
#holdbackthetears
You’re amazing and have beautiful reactions. ♥️
This song is so hard for me to listen too at the best of times, your reaction to this had tears rolling down my face. I listen too LP every single day and so many songs are hard too get through, this is top of the list. I had Chesters flames tattoo'd many years ago on mental health awareness day. It's so sad his lyrics has saved so many lives, but couldn't save his own 🥺 RIP Chester
Miss you Chester :(
Thanks for bring lp to us. My favorite band
Love your accect and love that you reacted to this song. Has a lot more meaning these days. But thank u regardless.
To be honest most of Chester's songs were about suicide going all the way back to their first album. To me, this one feels like a farewell letter to his bandmates, telling them not to feel guilty about anything and remember the good times. The video itself mostly shows Chester isolating himself from his bandmates.
"Little things give you away" is huntingly beautiful
Thank you for this reaction video ! Have a good day
,,,,,,,
Sing like an angel scream like a demon
Live like a man die as a legend
Wish I could sing like Chester just wanna make him proud so that he can be happy up there 🥹😭😭
Fuck depression lets make Chester proud 🤝🤝🫴🫳
This song hits so close.to home he singing about depression and what he was going through at the time leading up to his death so many emotions he puts into the words
Linkin Park reached a lot of people who who where going through similar to what Chester was feeling and I have no doubt in my mind through their songs they saved many lives
Chester is missed so much by fans he was someone to admire the strength he showed by opening up about his problems that where effecting him
RIP Chester you may be gone but your legacy will live on forever ✝️❤️
You have to prepare yourself for one more light if you don't know the song, so powerful and so painful, r.i.p Chester ❤
Your react...emotional to me...this is crazy....thank you💚🤍❤️
He was so great at helping us who suffer with mental issues. He put his heart & soul into it. We knew he felt what he sang. It helped me to feel not so alone in a broken brain. Such a shame he lost the battle & it really is a battle. Unfortunately we are very good at hiding how we feel, even to those close to us. Especially when one’s mind is made up to do that! Most of us won’t reach out or talk to anyone about it. I’m blessed with people who reach in. But sometimes that doesn’t help either. No one is ever to blame in these situations, I know from many attempts, I’ve personally had, NO ONE could have stopped me. He had a loving family & amazing friends who knew & were there for him. R.I.P CHESTER, you are loved 💔 xx
Credits to Mike Shinoda who's the songwriter for majority, if not all of LP's songs.
Thnaks for share your thoughts bout this band (specially Chester!). Please keep reacting to this band ❤️
This was about a decade before his passing.... he was in pain for decades and i can relate a lot.
Also i encourage you to react to Chris Cornell's music (solo, Soundgarden & Audioslave). He was very close with Chester. Chris took his life on may 18th of 2017.... 2 months later Chester followed him.... I'm still griefing for both
Mike Shinoda wrote this song and I believe 90% of LP songs too. They were really close and you can tell Mike drew inspiration from Chester's. Mike's been telling everyone about Chester's depression through his lyrics.
Hello
Bisscute ! I am madly waiting for your reactions to the clips. But I'm even more looking forward to your beautiful smile. And when you're sad, I just want to hug you. You're so wonderful!🤍
Love this reaction
This song still makes me cry. So many songs from Linkin Park are relatable to so many people. Myself included. I SO wish he was still here with us. At the same time I understand about fighting your own thoughts sometimes. Depression, anxiety is a bitch! You never know when someone is fighting their own demons if they don't ask for help or talk about it. Be kind to everyone.
R. I. P. Chester you are so very missed. 😢
💕✌🏻🎶
Bisscute, thank u for ur reactions. Im waiting for more linkin park
I really appreciate that you don't fake first time reactions. You are very authentic/honest and empathetic
I like All linking park song it still hurts listening to this song, makes me sad😔
Yep, Linkin Park's lyrics hits us in a very unique way. Chester battled with depression for a long time, the final trigger for his at the very least unfortunate suicide was Chris Cornell's death, also by suicide. Chris was Chester's best friend and one of the most beautiful voices of rock and roll, according to Chester himself. Anyway, my suggestion today is some Audioslave and Soundgarden, both of them had Cornell as their voice.
RIP Chris.
RIP Chester.
Gone, but never forgotten! 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
Here is my suggestion to LP songs:
Points of Authority
Papercut
Lost in the Echo
Blackbirds
Shadow of the Day
Wha I've Done
No More Sorrow
One Step Closer
From The Inside
New Divide
In My Remains
Roads Untraveled
Somwhere I Belong
Hit the Floor
Wretches and Kings
Iridescent
Breaking The Habit
Castle of Glass
I hope you have an amazing day. Greetings from Poland.
All great songs 👍❤
Chester R.I.P man.....
Always be my Greatest of All Time singer 😭
Great reaction
My favourite band 😍❤️😍❤️😍 love u for ur reaction...RIP...CHESTER🥺🥺🥺🥺
This song speaks alot 😔. Rip chester🙏
This song breaks me every time I hear it.
The first time u heard this song was to the credits of a Twilight movie 🍿 I've loved Linkin Park since "In the end" back in 2000. Awesome reaction
Thank you ❤️
So many of the lyrics have such a different effect today than they had back then.
I remember that the news about Chester's death struck me while I was at work. And working in public, I had to ask a colleague to fill in for me as I had to retreat to a quiet corner away from everything for a while. Actually, I had already turned away from the genre at that point, but in the early 2000s the music of LP played a very big role in my life that I was overcome with a lot of emotions and memories at that moment. One of the worst days I can remember.
Chester was truly special and reached and influenced so many people with his voice. And for that he will be remembered forever. 🥀

Castle of Glass please!! Same mellow sentiment, and so beautiful!
Hey, Biss... one of my favorites is "The Little Things Give You Away", especially live. Check it if you can - it's truly some of Chester's best work. Great job! 🤘😎👍
feels like he knew all along, witch is very sad in its self. He was a very special person tbh. Ive followed linkin park since first album but it kinda hurt when he left but i also feelt like i and he kinda knew.
Mike Shinoda wrote this and if you truly followed LP, you'd know Mike wrote 90%+ of their songs. They were very close (Chester) and I think Mike wrote through their songs what Chester couldn't say to people.
@@ArchiveRagtagMoe wasent just the lyrics, was pretty known that he hade issues with depression. Anyways its still sad
It's like this song is a foreshow of what will happen to him, I will remember the good things about him or what I know. I can relate to this song, I hope I am remembered in a good way either at the end of my life or after an interaction, I can't be who most people are I am different. It's a great song, I am struggling at the moment so I can relate to Chester although I don't know exactly what he went through, it must have been worse. This song is off of Minutes to Midnight. It's their third or fourth album. They did a remix album. I have a shirt with Chester on it and a tear neckless with One More LIght written in it. I have mostly all their albums. I cried to the song One More Light.
genuinely great reaction. I suggest to listen to one of their hit "Iridescent" from their A Thousand Suns album. if you haven't heard it yet. That's also a great and emotional song that supposed to be a cheerful song. but hit differently until the passing of Chester Bennington.
Next points of authority
My mind is trying to get over the fact this cute girl joined december 30th 2021 and shes already got 54k subs. Thats seriously mindblowing
Chester was just an incredible person and he's my favourite male vocalist. I don't think anyone could pour as much emotion and pain into singing as he could. Bisscute I highly recommend you react to Kaunaz Dagaz by Brothers of Metal 😊
Love you reacts
Awesome reaction video ❤️ I highly recommend the song 'One More Light' 😥
It seems like every song touched on depression and some an outright cry for help I'm so sad that Chester is gone I wish someone could have been there for him
If you haven't seen it yet , check out Chester's cover of rolling in the deep .
Linkin park is an emotion and feeling
True ❤️
Favorite song off Minutes to Midnight, i recommend any song off the album, maybe Hands Held High or In Pieces.
6:13 hits different
I relate to this song so much
I have suffered from severe depression and suicidal thoughts I didn’t let anyone know about it because I thought everyone hated me and when I was around people I would keep all that pain inside and pretend like there was nothing wrong with me but when I was by myself with no one around that’s when my depression and suicidal thoughts started to show and it kept getting worse and worse and then I felt like life wasn’t worth living anymore and I tried to kill myself luckily I didn’t succeed and I was hospitalized for 2 weeks and I got the help and support I needed and I’m doing much much better now I wish Chester was able to get help like me RIP Chester Bennington we miss you man😢😢😢
I love Linkin Park and all of their greatness! If you are looking for some stuff you might not know, Chester was a part of two other bands also that are worth checking out. Grey Daze and Dead by Sunrise. I'm sure there are some songs you haven't heard yet.
When my time comes, forget the wrong that i've done
Help me leave behind some reason to be missed
Don't recent me,when you feeling empty, keep me in your memory
Leave out all the rest
That amazing
Nice reaction I have to recommend Chester first band called Grey Daze they are a very good band. Also I have say I believe this was said by the drummer of Grey Daze Sean Dowdell that Chester knew he was loved but didn't think he was deserving of that love. I could be wrong.
oh no not this song. im alrdy crying beforehand
I see you are developing a nice fan base, congratulations 🎊 👏 but I will keep trying to move you towards "In This Moment" 🌻
Next Linkin Park Reaction - My December...would be great 💚 you do a wonderful Job 💚
I have long considered it a crime against humanity that My December was never released as a single. Record company slept on that one.
Chester was truly one of the few people with talent on loan from God.
Fun Fact: The Music video for this song was inspired by the science fiction movie Sunshine.
" Sorry For Now" by Linkin Park is the same kinda song. In some aspects it's actually a continuation of it. Please react to it if your able.❤️
It isn't though! It's written from the perspective of a "rolling stone". Saying sorry to their families they are constantly away on the road/doing band stuff. But it's a "sorry", cause they are doing it for the greater good. And some day their kids will understand.
@@DaP84 yeah I guess it could interpreted either way. That was how I thought when I first heard it too. I just heard them back to back the other day and it just sounded kinda the same.
@@briansgamesandanime yeah, Chesters passing influences ones interpretation of lots of LP songs easily. It's like "Waiting For the End", it's about an inevitable breakup and denial, but is commonly interpreted with Chesters dark destiny. Chester didn't write any of these three songs, he has no writing credits. Mike was the one who wrote most of LP's lyrics. He also said "Sorry For Now" was about said topic in some interview I saw on youtube back at the release. "Leave Out All the Rest" could possibly be based on conversation with Chester, cause Mike often drew insperation from band convos.
"the messenger" live is a great reaction to do. gotta find a good version though
The last time I saw a stage, I saw a smile upon his face, now he's gone and ain't no going back F!@K
I'll be honest, when you hear the band Nothing more (I know you will), please, take a box of tissue for this songs of him:
- Gone
- God Went North
- Jenny
- Fade In/Fade Out
- Dream With Me (From the new album Spyrits - 11/22)
Please, I just wanna see you react for Jenny, God Went North and Fade In/Fade Out, they'll hit you so hard, this songs is written with true story of band members!
Maybe someday ❤️
RIP Chester ❤
My favourite linking Park Song.
Waiting for the end next 🙏😇
Check out Linkin Park - Figure.09, it wasn't released as a single but LP performed it often live and it slaps!
Rip chester😔😔
You should react to live linkin park songs even if you heard the studio version it doesnt do justice for ehat they do live
RIP Chester
React to " One More Light " by Linkin Park ; _ ;
There is a difference between sympathizing with this song (which is felling sad for Chester) - - and empathizing with this song ( understanding for Chester)- …. If you seem to feel empathy please seek help , I’ve been there and thankfully was able to seek help . But if you feel sympathetic, then I hope you never understand why he did it
Glad you let yourself feel vulnerable and great video
Thanks, glad you liked it ❤️
